Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Pink Princess Cake you ordered from us, but we are truly sorry that the vanilla sponge fell short of your expectations and tasted dry.
We always strive to make the most delicious looking and tasting fresh-baked treats so it is deeply disappointing to learn that we did not meet the high standards you usually enjoy from us.
Please note that our cakes are kept chilled during storage and in transport to and at the store before your collection to preserve their freshness. We always recommend allowing them to come fully to room temperature before serving (at least 2-3 hours), as this helps the sponge regain its soft, moist texture.
We are very sorry for your disappointment, and we will be passing your comments directly to our baking team to ensure our quality remains consistent.

Easy and delicious!
Amazing experience from buying online, collecting the cake was so easy as well. The cake was absolutely beautiful just like in the photos of the website and it was incredibly yummy too

Poor customer service
Customer service was dismissive of my order and needs on the day of collection and purchase at Stratford Westfield ground floor. I stood there asking for help and a recommendation for a birthday cake for a birthday, however thelady there was too busy making up other orders, and the man didn't even approach me to ask if I needed anything. The lady resumed to tell the maan that i asked for a red velvet birthday cake and he just boxed and asked for the money through the payment machine. I asked if he could set it aside for 2 minutes whilst I grabbed a coffee from nextdoor and he said he didn't have space, even though I was the first customer of the day 10 am!

not too much to say,it was amazing!The cake was soft,moist & frosting was perfect,not too sweet.Even the fruits used as topping was fresh!
One thing i must appreciate is i was running late for pick up so i called the store ahead & they agrred to stay back 5 minutes more although i reached two minutes before they close.But still it was last minute pickup but they didn’t seem annoyed by it.It was westfield stratford one.
Only regret is they don’t take customised orders but i so wish they did .
Overall it was good & will come back again for sure.

The cake was dry on the day wasn’t freshly baked. You also was limited on the cake sponge can only pick from two plain options, I wasn’t happy about the lack of variety. The cake design was the only thing that was successful about the cake order. I will make my own cakes moving forward. This was my second year buy a cake with Lola and I’ll not do a third year. I am a lost customer. When you complain nothing is done about it. Not worth the nearly £200 I spent. Very disappointed.

We can assure you that all of our cakes are always baked fresh and especially for your order.
Our cakes are always recommended to be kept out of the fridge for at least 2-3 hours before serving, we have had many customers previously that have experienced issues with the cake tasting dry if these instructions are not followed.

Delicious cake, great service.
Cake was ready on time and exactly what I wanted. It was delicious! Very rich so only small portions needed, served 8 with a few slices leftover. Second time I have ordered celebration cakes from Lola and they will continue to be my go to.

Service was great.
Service was great. Cake was easy to choose and order. Cant go wrong with lola cupcakes. We did want the Tirmusu cake , but it was only available in the gluten free. So we went for the pistachio it was delicious 😋 but its a shame the Tirmusu one has been discontinued.
