What is ‘fibre’ vs ‘full fibre’?

Unlike a ‘fibre’ network, which may include slow, old copper wire, we have a ‘full fibre’ broadband network. This means our FTTP/FTTH (fibre to the premises / fibre to the home) network connects our street cabinets directly to your home modem using fibre optic cables all the way. This is why our network is both "hyper reliable and hyperfast".

Really great service

Really great service. The switch process was seamless, installation was done on schedule and the installation team went out of their way to ensure I was happy with the outcome.

Windy Miller is pretty pleased …

The installation process stuttered at the beginning but efforts were made to resolve the issues.
Patient sales staff had to wait for 7 months as the house purchase was problematic

Lightning in the Sky

After 25 years with Sky for my Broadband I decided to move to Lightning Fibre who were offering some unrivalled deals. The installation team of Andy and Ricky arrived and thoroughly explained the process. With the utmost professionalism, care for our property and helpfulness they installed our new system. These 2 gents are an absolute credit to the business and it was a pleasure to have them working in our home. I’m pleased to say that I made the right decision to move to Lightning Fibre and my broadband is working super fast and completely reliable.

Connection review

Engineer was very professional and did a great job
Only downside is that there is no app like sky where you can check speed
I have checked speed which wasn't the 300 I signed up for especially upstairs
Find it difficult to contact service

The service tech guy was right on time
