Avoid!! The clips are much smaller than shown on the website, and did not hold my hair (very long, fairly thick) for more than a few seconds, in any style, not even just clipping the sides back. I watched all the videos, and had no difficulty using them as instructed - they just don't work. My daughter tried them (mid length, curly hair) and had the same experience. Like other reviewers I'd seen that they could be returned before ordering, and I also knew that distance selling regulations as well as 'not fit for purpose' meant I had good grounds to return. The website says to email their 'contact@' address for returns, so I duly sent them an email - after 5 days no reply so I sent a further email attaching the original email and asking them to respond - after another 5 days still had no response so I used their website 'contact form' explaining why I wanted a refund and asked why I'd had no response. They replied by email, asking what was missing lol! I replied nothing was missing, they just don't work so I want a refund. They replied "we do not offer refunds at this stage" 🙄 I told them distance selling regulations meant they had to. They replied "our current policy does not allow refunds or cancellations at this stage" 😂 ! My response? "Your policy is overridden by the law! I will pursue this legally and I will be leaving unfavorable reviews wherever I can. This is appalling" The following day I got an email saying they'd processed a full refund, and later confirmed I don't need to return the clips "you may keep them as a gesture of goodwill from us. We hope this helps and that you find a use for them despite the issues" 🤣 I'd had a problem after the initial order which went missing after being left at a collection point, so had to contact them then and they were very responsive about that issue, but much less so when I requested a refund. Also every email from them, and all the replies to reviews here, read like AI!! Awful product, terrible customer service - Avoid!!
EDIT: after this review was published, the company emailed me to ask if I would "consider removing it"!! I told them it was disgraceful they would even ask

The hair pins don’t work for my hair and it’s not obvious you need to return to France . Not a good purchase

I ordered and received these for my daughter and granddaughters in Australia. They are on their way to them. When I hear they have arrived and they have tried them I will update you. They all have long hair, mine is short and very fine so not much to grip on to. Irene

Lovely hair pins and very easy to use.

I’ve bought two lots of these. I went from long to short hair and all the claw clips etc became useless. These are brilliant, stay put as long as I like and sturdy enough not to snap. Highly recommend

I have long thick wavy/curly hair that has always been unruly. I always wanted to look put together and tidy. These hairpins have allowed to pull off that look. It took some practice and watching videos. I am glad that I took a chance on these.

Nicely packaged appears sturdy but much smaller than expected from watching video. A little expensive for something so small. The free extra set quantifies the price. But one set at full price is rather pricey.

Good quality hair pins. Work great on medium density long hair. Kept my hair up all day. They arrived within a week of ordering. They are worth the price.

Well, I personally am struggling with difficulties in getting the hair pins in snuggly on both sides, I think it is more of Me thing than the instructions, I have watched the instruction videos, and understand the instruction videos, but I’m still having difficulty maneuvering the eclipse. Shopping on this site was quick & easy , i bought the hairpins in 2 different colours , they are fantastic and they hold up my hair all day , the Price and delivery were very good and i was kept informed when my item was due to be delivered , i would reccomend this Product to family & friends , Thankyou

I do have hair on the thin side, and they do not work. Contacted customer service, did hear back with a video on how to use. The color was not right, they asked for pictures have sent them, see what I hear back. In reading the reviews, they state you have to mail to France, what a joke did they really come from France?? go to Amazon and buy from there. most items can be returned

Ordering and delivery were good with email notification and tracking ability. I thought the pins would be larger. Looks like there is a larger version that I think would work better in my hair.

Such a simple thing, but so incredible. It just works so well, and looks so good! What more could you ask for? I love it, and we’ll be buying more!!!

These do not work anything like the videos, unfortunately. Perhaps it is different for short, fine hair but if your hair is long or thick, these clips do not hold at all and instantly fall out.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I asked for them for Christmas and my partner bought them for me. But disappointingly they are cheap, tacky and useless. I emailed them twice asking about a refund and was completely ignored. Such a waste of money. So disappointed.

Upon receiving the clips, I was unable to get them to stay in my hair, so I decided to wait until my next hair appointment to consult with my stylist, hoping she could get them to work. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, she too was unable to make them stay in my hair. I then passed the clips along to her, as well as a friend with thicker hair, but they both encountered the same issue.
Given that I wanted to support a small business, I made the decision to give the product a fair chance by seeking professional advice before reaching out to the Lialys to request a refund. I believe this demonstrates good faith on my part - but the company would not issue any sort of refund despite several attempts. Very Disappointed. Total waste of money!
