Very disappointed. They fall out of my hair, they do not do what is advertised. No hold or grip, my hair slips out.
I read they were excellent for fine hair, I was mislead.

They don't even deserve a 1..do not buy from here, the clips are cheap and flimsy and they are shipped from China which is misleading as their website states they are based in China. I have also tried to contact them numerous times but no response! As I am missing some clips. Very bad! Wish I read the review beforehand!

ABSOLUTE SCAM DROP SHIP COMPANY! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Send you products from China that are basic market grade £1 (if that) plastic pieces of crap. Admit to faulty crap products but will only fully refund if you pay to ship them to France!

Based on my recent purchase, this was a disappointing experience. The hairpins I received were not the colour advertised (‘silver tortoise’) and the quality was poor for the price. The tortoise pattern appears to be applied only to the surface of the plastic rather than running through the material, and the clips are made from thin moulded plastic rather than solid acetate. Higher-quality tortoise clips are usually made from acetate where the colour runs through the material. They also did not stay in my hair at all!

I contacted customer service immediately and sent photos. I was told I could receive a full refund only if I paid international return shipping to France, or accept a 50% refund and keep the item.

The website advertises a 30-day ‘risk-free’ trial and mentions a 14-day return period, which was one of the reasons I felt comfortable ordering. However, requiring customers to pay international return postage makes this difficult in practice.

Tracking also showed the item was shipped from Fuzhou, China rather than France, which was surprising given how the brand is presented.

Overall this was a frustrating experience.

I have short, wavy and fine hair. The clips will not keep my hair up, they slide out immediately. I tried to return the product but the return is tricky. Company will refund only 50%of the total. If you want full refund the product needs to be shipped to French address. Company is definitely not transparent about their return policy.

Hairpins are crappy plastic. Asked immediately to return. Told that their return centre was in France, so to save me hassle of international shipping they would offer me a 50% off to keep the hair pins. Since it was shipped from UK and I have a return address, I am within my consumer rights to send back and get 100% refund. FRAUDSTERS

I ordered these hairpins for the look and style, and the claim they stay put in fine hair. I'm in my 70s with fine gray hair. They look sophisticated, comfortable to wear and stay in place all day.
I bought an extra set in my different color for my blond hair daughter.

I really appreciate your follow up texts. I’ve been struggling a bit with the hair pins even though I practiced with your videos. My hair is thin but getting thicker. I think in a month the hair pins will work much better. I’m still practicing to get the right angle. I want to use them for my daughters upcoming engagement party!

Absolutely terrible product. They don’t stay in the hair, don’t hold the hair at all. Just threw them in the trash. Don’t waste your money.

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a hairpin, but I LOVE my Lialys. I have a ton of really fine hair, and this is the first tool that holds it in place without hurting. The white and gold tortoise shell is also uniquely great in blonde hair.
