Great getaway for a few days. Quiet and cozy!

My bestie and I came to the area to watch my son play college baseball......... I found Laurel Mountain Retreat by chance when looking for a place to say.

I am SOOOOO glad I did! The cabin was perfect..... the porch swing was our favorite part.... Perfect size for the two of us. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were incredible (what's your secret), loved the dispensers in the shower.... we made the most of our stay for sure......

The only disappointment we had, was that we had to leave.......... Until next time....

We had a fun, peaceful getaway with our little family. The cabin was as described and very clean. I wouldn’t say it sleeps 4 because the mattress on the floor in the upstairs loft is a full size couch mattress. It’s perfect for two small kids though. The bed downstairs was very comfy and the hot tub was a nice ending to each day. Thank you again!

We had a great time at Laurel Mountain Retreat! The cabin was very nice and clean; the amenities were nice with the laundry available to use for longer stays and especially the hot tub! The cabin had everything we needed to stay the week. We found our stay very pleasant and we will definitely keep it in mind for future stays!

Perfect and cozy

Our stay in Red Bird Cabin was nothing less than perfect. This is the cutest little cabin ever. Very cozy and intimate which was just what we wanted for a quick little weekend getaway. The bed was very comfortable. The porch swing and hot tub made the trip perfect. We can’t wait to plan a longer trip here. We loved having a Walmart and other shops so close by.

Lovely experience and great location! The hosts communicate thoroughly. Highly recommend.

Nice cabin, quiet, about 20-40 mins from Asheville.

We had such a great time at this cabin! Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was also wonderful! Would definitely recommend!

We were visiting Asheville for our first year anniversary and vacation getaway and this place was very cozy, clean and inviting. We had all the amenities the surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and secluded enough to where we had privacy in the hot tub and quiet time when we wanted to relax. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend it

The Red Robin was the perfect spot for my family of four to stay while visiting Weaverville. We enjoyed the hot tub after snow tubing! The cabin was clean and had all the items we needed for our weekend get away.

Very well maintained, clean, cozy and inviting. Can’t think of one single complaint. Truly appreciated how every switch, remote and amenity was labeled.

Great little place love the sleeping area for the dogs made it very comfortable for them. Perfect location as well.

My husband and I had a lovely one night stay at the Brookside Cabin. It was very clean, cozy, and perfect for what we needed. We could definitely see ourselves coming back here with our two kids and our dog in the future. There were some nice touches like board games and amenities for pets also. The location was great as it is close enough to restaurants and shops, but secluded enough to feel private and peaceful.

Evergreen Cabin is a charming and clean getaway in a beautiful, serene location near Weaverville. The property was well-maintained, and the amenities provided were adequate, including thoughtful supplies for our dog, which we appreciated.

However, I was disappointed with a few significant issues that impacted our stay. Upon arrival on a sub-freezing day, the cabin was only 62°F. It took many hours to heat the space to a comfortable temperature, which was inconvenient after a long trip. Similarly, the hot tub was also cold when we arrived and took overnight to reach a usable temperature, which defeated its purpose as a relaxing amenity for the first night of our stay.

Additionally, the appliances in the cabin were very noisy, particularly the refrigerator and HVAC system, which repeatedly interrupted our sleep throughout the night. This was an unexpected frustration, as a peaceful, restful environment is a major reason for choosing a cabin retreat.

Another issue was the misleading information regarding the Level 2 EV charger. The charger is not located at the cabin itself, and using it incurs an additional charge, which I found to be quite high. This detail should have been made clear upfront, as it was an unexpected inconvenience.

While Evergreen Cabin has potential with its cleanliness and thoughtful touches, the lack of preparation for guest arrival on a cold day, the noisy appliances, and the hidden cost of EV charging were major letdowns. These issues should be addressed to provide a better guest experience.
