Gathering Your Data and Free Labor
At this point, it’s clear JobRack is more focused on harvesting free labor and data than actually placing people in jobs.
The same roles, from the same companies, are reposted constantly. Each one demands the same thing:
– Endless forms
– One-way video interviews
– Unpaid “sample tasks” that take hours
These steps are non-negotiable, even though there’s no proof they lead anywhere.
After that? Silence. No update. No rejection. Not even an automated email. And no, this isn’t a “check your spam” issue it’s systemic ghosting. I’ve even messaged hiring person and CEO directly — still ignored: not even once, twice in a month so it can't be missed if that's an excuse.
They love to pretend “it’s the client’s responsibility,” but when you’re collecting all the data, screening candidates, and setting the process, that excuse doesn’t fly.
If you host the job, you are responsible for what happens. Period.
At this point, this feels less like a hiring platform and more like an operation built on free crowdsourced work and candidate data mining.
Don’t waste your time unless you're happy to work for free, get ghosted, and never know if the job was even real.
And if they reply here with "we're sorry for your experience" , “we take feedback seriously” or “please contact us to investigate” etc. just know, that’s part of the script. They’ve had years to fix this and they still haven’t, as you read thru other reviews. That tells you everything.

After reading their response here, I wish they even not respond at all because they only care their public image so that can continue the scam business:
So I sent with the details they asked for (my email etc): forget an apology ; no one reached out, or send a response or not even an update yet they can still respond here to say they will investigate but just kept the momentum alive with ghosting.
If your CEO and hiring reps can ignore emails multiple times, that’s not an oversight, that’s intentional.
Yet support team asking me for an email, like no one communicate in there ? How many more people you've ghosted too as you seem lost between.
That level of audacity is something else. They only care about how they look publicly, not about the people they’re supposed to support.
Blame their clients and insists test tasks aren’t “real work,” as they see the candidates expendable. As they control every step of the process and demand hours of unpaid effort with zero transparency, accountability or respect to candidates. Then provide some feedback for 2-3 hours of a free labor but no they can't waste their 5 minutes on that.
Saying jobs have “rolling needs” or refreshing listings doesn’t explain why candidates are ghosted or why we never actually meet the real employers until the very last stage if at all.
What kind of joke is that?

I was a little bit skeptical when I…
I was a little bit skeptical when I created my account on JobRack and started to look for remote jobs, also being influenced by some of the reviews I've read here on Trustpilot, but honestly, for me, the whole process was transparent and straightforward from the beginning. On the very first application for a job I found, I got a reply from the JobRack Recruiter within a day or two - passed a graphic design test, followed up with an interview with the recruiter, but didn't go past that stage.
After that, I applied for 3-4 more jobs and got a reply for one of them also within a few days. This was the process:
1. Initial application with my portfolio and CV
2. A short video recording introducing myself
3. Test of skills (graphic design in my case)
4. Interview with the JobRack recruiter
5. 3 Interviews with the company that listed the job posting in a span of 10 days or so
6. Sent my recommendation letters from past employers
7. Got selected and offered a contract
From my initial application to getting offered a contract - the whole process took about a month.
I know this process seems very long for people from the Balkans, but since the company was a US company - this is just standard procedure there. I had prior experience working for a US company so this wasn't something new to me.
Esther - the recruiter from JobRack was really great and helped me a lot, answered all of my questions, and communicated a lot with the hiring company - 5 stars for Esther :)
My advice for people applying for jobs:
Try to showcase your work as best you can - a good portfolio goes a long way.
Be patient with the process, especially if it's a US company.
Believe in yourself and that you are a capable candidate. Confidence matters.
Advice for JobRack:
Maybe try to be more transparent and open about your process of selecting qualifying candidates. Create an official YouTube channel and make videos explaining clearly how the process works, why a test is important and necessary, why multiple interviews are necessary, and showcase success stories - all of these things bring trust. There's nothing worse for people actively looking for jobs than applying without knowing the next steps and waiting eagerly for replies.
All in all - I'm satisfied with the platform, and I hope my first job goes well. I start Monday - Cheers :D

Honest Review of Jobrack
I have landed a few gigs through Jobrack over the past three years but only through job postings where the employer handles the recruitment directly. If the application process goes through Jobrack itself my advice is simple. Do not waste your time.
The process is frustratingly long and inefficient. It starts with an extensive written application followed by an automated one way video interview that leads nowhere. Then come the unpaid tasks only to receive a generic rejection email from unprofessional recruiters claiming you lack the required expertise.
I have over seven years of experience in digital marketing across multiple fields yet I have been rejected for roles that list two to three years of experience as a requirement. If that is not enough I have no idea who is.
If a job allows direct applications to the employer go for it. But if it goes through Jobrack’s internal process save yourself the time and frustration.

If you're a job seeker considering JobRack, let me save you time, energy, and frustration—avoid them at all costs. This company operates one of the most exploitative and deceitful hiring scams I have ever encountered, preying on professionals desperately seeking work in a brutal job market.
The Laborious, Endless Loop of Free Labor
The process starts off deceptively normal. You apply, and an agent is super responsive—until you submit their excessively time-consuming assessments. Every role requires a new video submission (which I later discovered isn’t even watched by their agents or clients). Suspicious? Absolutely.
Then comes the assessment—presented as a "quick two-hour task" by someone who has clearly never written a marketing strategy in their life. In reality, it’s a deep, multi-layered project requiring research, strategy, and planning—work that would cost hundreds, if not thousands, if done for a paying client.
But here’s the kicker: once you submit your assessment, you can forget about ever hearing from them again. You’ve just completed free labor for their scam, and now you’re discarded. The same agent who was eager and responsive before? Suddenly silent, or worse—sarcastic when you dare to follow up.
I once insisted on feedback, only to receive a blatantly AI-generated response from their agent, Esther. If they’re going to lie, at least put some effort into it.
Concerned about my intellectual property after submitting three in-depth assessments, I reached out directly to their so-called CEO, Noel. Did he have the professionalism to meet with me? Of course not. Instead, he sent a sped-up, 1.5x-speed video response from an airport lounge—because, apparently, addressing serious concerns about data privacy and ethical hiring is a task best handled between boarding calls. The narcissism is almost comical.
This is not just about wasted time—it’s about the dangerous, unethical business model they operate. What happens to the videos, assessments, and candidate information they collect? No one seems to know. Considering their complete lack of transparency, I wouldn’t be surprised if this company profits from selling job seeker data rather than actually placing candidates.
I have inquired across multiple job boards, FB + LinkedIn groups, and platforms. Not a single person has been successfully placed by this company. Their glowing reviews? Fabricated, just like everything else about them.
JobRack’s entire operation is designed to exploit job seekers—many of whom, like me, have families to support and are navigating a brutal job market. There is something especially inhumane and unforgivable about taking advantage of people in vulnerable financial situations, stringing them along with false hope, and stealing their work under the guise of “assessments.”
Final Word: Stay Away and Report Them
I strongly encourage anyone who has dealt with JobRack to report their interactions—whether on LinkedIn, job boards, or directly to regulatory bodies. The more people speak out, the sooner this disgraceful scam of a company can be exposed.
