139 railway Surekha number is one use less service. Indian railway police is worst. No safety for lady passengers.
I was travelling from Dharwad to Bangalore in Vande Bharat train on 28 th September ie yesterday.
I was travelling in executive coach.
There was a lady sitting at the back of my seat. She started scolding me in loud voice when I reclined my seat.
She was too rude. And when I asked her to call TT and change her seat, two TTs on duty came to our seat. They did not help me. The lady kept on using very faul language. She hit me on my hand 3 times and I started crying. Even then the TT did not tell anything to that lady.
Co passengers also did not support me. I was help less.
I called 139 suraksha help line. My complaint got registered. I started getting too many calls from irctc. I was tired of explaining same story to everyone. I got 12 calls from different numbers. Asking same questions. One lady told me that in Tumkur a railway police will come and meet me. 5 police officers boarded the train in Tumkur. I started explaining them the issue. In half minute they got down the train as the train started and they did not even have the courtesy to talk to me and provide safety to me.
After that again I got 4-5 calls asking same thing and one lady officer told she will meet me in main station Bangalore and she took my coach number and seat number.
Train stopped at last stop ie main station in BLR. And the lady officer was not there on platform. All passengers got down and the officer came 10 minutes late to take action. By that time the lady who physically abused me had gone and also the TT.
Only one police officer Mr Suresh who met in station was okay and he told us to lodge a FIR .
My husband who came to receive me went across 4 departments of irctc and complained and they conned us to the TT who had already reached home.
He told a clean lie that he did not see the lady physically abusing me.
Railway police department is worst department. There is no use of complaining using 139 Surekha number.
Infact by calling repeatedly they have troubled me and have not helped me. I was help less and sad.
There is no safety for ladies travelling by irctc. Sad state. If this review reaches any honest officer please take action on railway police department who were on duty on my journey date. I have tried to write everything in this message.
Disappointed that after paying so much money and travelling I. Executive class safety is not there for ladies.

Booked 4 tickets in 3E economy in train no. 15675 from old Delhi to Kamakhya jn.. I Thought that we would take rest and sleep until reach. But the IRCTC fooding stuff roaming more than 1000 times to sales their products. Its really like we are in Market..

Now the point is I used my 8000/- to have rest and take proper sleep without any disturbance. And they are roaming like in market. And continuously disturb us. Please IRCTC look into matter.

No attendants on the Turangabad railway…Horrible services of IRCTc
No attendants on the Aurangabad railway platform for about more than 5 hours. It is 2.48 am on 25.8.2024. The Bharat Gaurav yatris are starving without even water. No arrangements, no courtesy to express inability to provide basic amenities like toilets on platform no 3 of Aurangabad Railway Station.
We strongly condemned and suggest strict action against IRTC authorities for deceiving the consumers and putting them into horrible situation..
IRCTC should stop undertaking such Yatras.
It is not possible for IRCTC to conduct this business.

I want to share my terrible experience with Indian Railways and IRCTC so that others don’t fall into the same trap. I booked a train ticket through Goibibo for a journey from Ludhiana to Jaipur on 27th April 2024 (PNR No: 2412701792). Not only was the train delayed by an entire day, but neither IRCTC nor Goibibo informed me about it. I waited at the station for 2 hours before I found out via Google that the train was delayed by 24 hours.
I immediately filed a TDR to get a refund, and Goibibo told me to wait for 3 months—an absurd amount of time! After months of chasing, calling, and emailing, my TDR was eventually rejected without any valid reason. Now they tell me that IRCTC can't do anything if the particular department rejects it. This is outright fraudulent and shows a complete lack of responsibility and accountability.
If you’re thinking of using Indian Railways or IRCTC, don’t. They have robbed countless people by not refunding for delayed trains, and if you’re unlucky enough to actually get on the train, be prepared for overbooking chaos. There’s no authenticity, no customer service, and absolutely no respect for your time or hard-earned money. You’re better off taking a sleeper bus, a shared taxi, or anything else but NOT Indian Railways.
To top it off, Goibibo doesn't take any responsibility either. This entire experience has been a nightmare, and I urge everyone to stay away from these services.

We should give only negative reviews. One of the worst service for elderly people. There is no lift, escalator and no proper service on time. Everywhere it is Crowded and people standing for one lift. Many times escalator not working and limited service even on bigger cities like Chennai. Because of this, people pay more and travel by bus.

I had booked Tejas express from Thane to Goa. It was the most worst experience. Everytime traveling with Indian railway they add us to become nightmare. For Tejas vista coach one middle class is paying almost same or above we have charges price. We
were not informed that our train is late there were no single announcement for the same , it was almost about 3 hr late . This is how gov is taking so called high taxes to provide this pathetic service for middle class people. There are no clean platform , no clean washroom . There needs to be lots of improvement for Indian railway.
The food served in Kalka shatabadi Express is really not good. Burning taste was coming from Dal . Quality of rice was also not good. Curd was sour. Vegetable was not at all tasty.
Railway should come forward to improve the quality of the food . Toilet facilities are really minimal in kalka shatabadi AC chair car compartment. Toilet was stinking and toilet roll was not present in the toilet . There should be a button in the toilet so that by pressing that button immediate complaint should be registered with railways. Railway officials should check the food randomly .It should be the duty of the ticket checker.

Travelled in a long distance train (Khajuraho-Udaipur express) from Agra to Udaipur on July 22nd. The attendant Mr Mohammad Ahteshaam was really helpful and nice. He made sure we were comfortable and also went out of his way to help us in getting food for my kids and elder parents. Need more people like him in the system to make sure people have good experience.
