Fiona Macrae
After Fiona Macrae, Insurancewith’s founder, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, she found it almost impossible to get affordable travel insurance. Like anyone else, she was looking forward to a holiday, but sensibly-priced cover seemed out of reach.
Insurancewith was created to help people with all kinds of conditions – including cancer, mental health, epilepsy, and many disabilities – get the most suitable cover for your personal needs at a price to suit your budget.

Your website is easy to use but it would be much quicker if medical details could be retained from previous quotes and populated into a new quote, rather than having to go through each one every time.

Positive experience with insurance at a fraction of others
I had been looking for travel cover for nearly two weeks. I discovered being on a clinical trial really does complicate things. I tried all the ‘usual subjects’ but had to wait for the underwriters response which took days in some instances, and when cover was offered it was almost as expensive as the holiday.
I scoured cancer forums and found Insurancewith being mentioned again and again, so booked a call back with them.
The customer service advisor, Debbie, was so helpful. There was a long list of questions, not too different to other insurers, but the outcome was so different - a decision of the spot and a premium at a fraction of the cost offered by ‘big name’ companies.
Thank you Insurancewith for providing a really positive experience and peace of mind.
