3 times tried to cash a check. When I thought finally it went through I had to write void on the check and take another picture. Thank goodness I didn't do it. I will go cash it at a store.
How does Ingo stay in business
How does Ingo stay in business? I presented 2 checks one from a highly recognized US bank, declined with no specific reason. The second decline check from a highly recognizable Insurance company, for no specific reason. Probably bc I opted for the free 10 day wait —no money in it for them

This place is a joke my email address was some how hacked and I called indigo money because I no longer had access to the email and these dumbie s decide to send me an email to verify myself but they sent it to the Old email so I can't access that email now I can't use indigo this is a crock of ****
Garbage company
Don’t use this app for absolutely anything. You literally have to jump through 10 different hoops to cash a check, customer service doesn’t do sh!t to help you, you’re on hold with customer service for at least 25-45mins at a time & after awhile they just hang up an don’t even bother calling you back. I do not recommend this company, I’ve been trying for the last 5 days to cash a very important check into my bank that goes through these bozos & it has been nothing but a major pain in the a$$. Would give them a no star if possible.

Over a year ago I made an account to cash a check from a client not realizing the client had put the wrong year on the check. I was denied which is fine I understand that. But ever since then a year something later I'm still not allowed to cash a check and not even with them through my venmo account because venmo uses and go but every single time I try to cash a check they keep saying to me they're closing my account.. wasn't it closed already?! They keep closing the same account over and over and over even though I haven't opened an account. It sucks that I can't use my venmo because of this company when there's no reason for me not to be able to. It always says something about high risk but the fact is I've been a business owner for a while I have a perfect business credit score there is no high risk I have zero business debt so I don't know where this high-risk nonsense is coming from all because of a check a year ago. I'm tired of it

One star is to much for these people , taking advantage and money from hard working people , they offer you a service and then you jump through there hoops and then they dont honor the service and give you a bs response and your stuck with the outcome . Needs to be put out of business
Needs to be put out of business over charged me for cashing my grandson's payroll check agreed to refund some of the money has told me and responded to my BBB complaint that they contacted me and advised me what I needed to do to receive refund which they have it was to provide PayPal info so they can issue refund to this day no refund. I have been emailing and calling (hold time is always greater than 60 minutes and constantly disconnected)them since March. In reading other reviews I am not the first person they have done this too imagine how many just let it go like I had done at first . My emails get an automated response they will contact me within 24 hours and nobody ever contacts me or responds to the email other than the auto response. I call for a class action suit to be filed and or because I know not many businesses provide the service they do many companies have no choice but to use them a capital venture company should consider creating an alternative option and take ingo down and held accountable for the worst business practices I have ever seen
Closed before 9pm as the recording says
I called customer service 10 minutes before closing time and kept getting hung up on, somebody was too lazy to do their job till closing time and really messed things up for me!!! I hope whoever it was gets what they deserve for not providing customer service because they were ready to go home. You close at 9pm EST not 8:48pm, there is a reason they have a 1.6 rating. Hire a better manager that will actually do their job and that number might come up but bottom line they just don’t care.
I tried to cash a check on Ingo
I tried to cash a check on Ingo. Got a message that check was approved. Then I was told to right could in bold letters and send image of voided check. Then it declined the check and called Ingo customer and they stated they could finish my transaction. Now I have a check that has voided on it and now I can’t take the check anywhere else to cash it. I will never use the app again and will tell everyone I know not to use the app. I really depended on that check to pay my bills with. I don’t see how the company can sleep at night knowing they did customers this way

Had an issue cashing a check ,tried contacting them multiple times and finally got someone on the phone, they said they would review and get back to me. Months later still haven’t heard from them and then I call/email them for 5 days straight and they email me telling me they’re unable to offer me their services and closed my account and wouldn’t give me a reason why. I have used Ingo before to deposit my Fidelity check to my Venmo account. I tried today to deposit the check, and received an immediate rejection. When I tried to call several times, I was disconnected on immediately. So I went through chat, who explained to me they do not have to cash every check nor can they explain why. Which makes no sense to me when I have deposited checks from same bank for a lot more money. I would caution anyone using Ingo to look for another way to cash/deposit their check.
My dad had an Ingo account
My dad had an Ingo account. He was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and his health rapidly deteriorated. Since he couldn't get to his normal place to cash checks (been in the hospital a month) we tried to get him setup to do the picture check cashing in the app. Ingo then immediately closed his account citing "unspecified rules and procedures" and refused to even have a second look at it.
So let me get this straight. They offer a service in their app and then shut down your account for using said services? How are these scumbags even in business.

Awful, paypal and venmo use ingo for mobile deposit, not only did they make me write VOID on my check, but then they declined that photo of it and it gives no option to take another photo and I can't even try and cash a new check because it keeps telling me this one is declined, paypal can't help. Garbage product/service!

Good Check Casher, Until Mysteriously NOT.
These people closed my account with no solid explanation whatsoever, other than vaguely saying my account was too risky to remain open, although I have only cashed a few checks through them, for a fee, that were either issued by close friends or relatives, and all of a relatively low dollar amount. The interesting thing is, all of these "risky" checks were cleared without any type of problems. I don't know what is up with these people, but they are clearly a joke, and it is a shame that Paypal or Venmo, or any other type of institute would use their service.

I attempted to upload a check to my account that I have had for 8 years, it was a paper bonus check from the same company that I get direct deposit from as well as previous paper checks but they declined it with no reason and advised to cash it (which will have fees) and then deposit the money but I was told by the check cash stores they wont cash a check that was declined by Ingo. SO HOW DO I GET MY MONEY PUT INTO MY ACCOUNT!!! Customer service was no help until I called back a few times and escalated to Risk Mgt team who will notify me in 24 hours via email. This is outrageous especially since I have done it before with no issues and its the same company for 8 years!! I will be moving my money into another bank if its not rectified.
Awesome Customer Service
I was so nervous to call and get access to the information I needed to follow up on a declined transaction. This was a significant amount to me and my family. I am very sick and needed the money for prescriptions.
