The POOR service of INGO money

I have been using INGO now for about 7 years. All of a sudden, in October 2024, they started refusing to let me cash my checks. Customer service told me that I had a returned check for $300. I called my company to ask if any checks were returned and they said no. We had no records of any returned!! By INGO closing my account, I was not able to deposit with ALL of my accounts which included PayPal, Venmo, Netspend, and Cashapp!! I had checks totaling over $2500 that I couldn’t deposit and I was broke for almost two months!! I finally had to go to a brick and mortar bank that I used to have an account with and thank God, my account was still active!! It seems that we all have similar complaints and something needs to be done about INGO!! I honestly feel like there will be a Class Action Suit in the works real soon!! This kind of practice is so unacceptable! When you talk to people at the Customer Service, it’s as if they have been made to rehearse what to say!! Always, “oh we are sorry you are having problems, but we can’t open your account!!” Never a reason as to why it was closed in the first place!!

Indigo screwed me how bout you
Had my bank over a thousand cashed and deposited checks. Indigo took over and now I can't cash a check anywhere online ar all. The first time they wrnt to cash one pf mine they said something happened and wouldn't process so I took my check to a check cashing place but there system was actually truing to process it but it was going to be the 24hr wait which is rare and for hundreds of cashed checks really. Anyway system tells me different then there system is doing I'm happy I took a screen shot. And turn indigo thinks I'm trying to double cash nut they had already denied me but now anywhere any bank I have they all use indigo and I cant cash a check they should pay me for the hour and a half ride to the nearest bank for me in gas.. it's ridiculous one organization has to dip there hands in the pot and screws over the same 11 year customer to that bank I ended up having to leave the bank and go to a brick and mortar which I'm religiously against. So dam
They do not give you your fund immediately
Everything went fine up to getting the money in my account and then when it came to money in my account....Well they said PAYPAL rejected the funds, I call PayPal who hasn't seen the transaction. It seems they want to hold my funds until Monday.

If I could’ve given negative stars I would’ve!!! I have NEVER once cashed a check through these people. (I have through PayPal many times with NO ISSUES) I went to cash a bank check and was told my account closed and they couldn’t give me an explanation to as why. Just that it’s permanently closed and they are sorry. What a crap service. Stay away from these people!!!!!

I tried cashing my check through Venmo…
I tried cashing my check through Venmo it verified me and everything let me take pictures of the front and back everything looks good. Some how it is unable to verified but it has my address and name on it and so I don’t get why are you not able to cash my check sent to me with my information on it this service is trash. Because I also try to cash it on two other services like Go2bank and wisely then basic says your account with ingo can’t be used with either of these services to cash my check which is crazy but yeah can’t cash check made out to me lol horrible service.

Signed up for these people used to use my payroll card had a check I needed to get deposited they asked that I take a picture of front and back of the check on their app. I did this and they approved the check next I got a notice that I needed to write void across the front of the check and blue or black ink which I did. Then I got another notice saying that my account was on hold and that they were not going to deposit my check
I am left with the check that says void on the front that I can do nothing with received the check from a funeral service for a refund unable to cash the check unable to deposit the check unable to use the check at all since it says void on the front and they didn't tell me that this was a possibility until that was already completed
Contacted customer service the woman I spoke to said she could clearly see that it had been approved and the first two pictures of front and back that I took as well as the one that I took and sent to them after I wrote void on the front said she did not see any issues with it but was going to send it to her supervisor now I get an email that says that after review they're going to leave my account closed and not cash the check so now I'm stuck with a check I can't cash anywhere else because they made me write void on it and try to get the company that sent it to me to reissue the check going to be very difficult took me 30 days to get this one this company is a rip off I will be letting wisely know as well that this is how they treat wisely customers

Do not , I repeat, Do not use this company to try and cash your checks ! I used this service through Paypal and was asked to take a picture of my check for deposit. I did so, and received a notice of acceptance. Shortly after I was instructed that in order to process this check I must immediately write in BIG BOLD letters the word VOID and send them a picture of this. Which I did. Moments later I was informed that they wouldn't be able to cash it and that I'm free to try another provider in trying to cash this check...with a LARGE VOID written on it?! (Yeah, good luck with that, right?)There was no warning or indication of any sort that after vandalizing this check there would be a possibility of it being denied. This check was given to me by a traveling event held locally maybe once or twice a year , where you are able to sell your precious metals , gold coins, and memorabilia. I sold some of my precious jewelry (just trying to get a little extra money for Christmas) and now, am out jewelry and the funds i received because of this company refusing to cash my $109 check for reasons still unknown. I'm just thankful it
hadn't been for a larger sum of money but I would like to heed warning to anybody thinking about using this service. They have nothing in place for these types of situations or will they try to resolve , or help you in anyway shape or form. ! I asked them to send me if they would at least send me the picture of my check that was taken before they had me write VOID and was told blatantly "No, they were not going to do that." I was denied the picture of my own check?! I'm not a person who usually(if ever) writes negative reviews on a business but I felt this was necessary in order to possibly prevent this happening to someone else thinking of using INGO. And to think there slogan is "INGO Cares" what a horrible misrepresentation it should be " INGOs your money and Out goes your your chance of ever receiving it. Because we DONT care".

I'm having the same issues as all of you. I Have Dave and tried to use the cash a check feature to try and deposit my $100 jury duty check. Followed the steps. Endorsed the check and took pictures of front and back. It was approved. Got an email saying I needed to write void in blue or black ink across the check. Did that and submitted the picture and the check was declined because I "didn't write void on it" and my account immediately closed. Wtf? Now I'm on hold with customer service for 22 minutes and counting. DO NOT use this feature with Dave or any other bank that uses Ingo.

I have never in the past had issues till now. I wasn't notified about my account being closed or as to why? Trying to solve this issue with customer service is horrible. Now they finally rude said that the check was made up. Basically fake. I never recalled ever nor will do that. She told me still rude that she was sending it to her supervisor and her supervisor. I still haven't received an email with the decision. I can't even log in to see what their decision was but it states it's close permanently. They will do anything just to make you look bad they don't help or solve the issue and very rude very very rude.

Will never use Ingo again. They have had a $500 check of mine tied up in their system for a week and I still cannot get it cashed. I will never use this business again.

Dave; Worked the very first time when I cashed it through Dave and Dave is connected with ingo. It got me to the last screen and told me to write void which I did, and they decided to say it wasn't worth it basically and deleted my account and screwed my check over. Would not recommend.

Don't use this app. Worked a few times then just said no to cashing the same checks they cashed before. Waist of time.

Attempted to cash a check 3 months ago. Ingo declined it. I eventually was able to deposit the money into my bank , but not through Ingo. Then, ingo turned my “account “ over to a collection agency for the money they rejected! I sent proof that this money was not owed to agency. Nope, not having it.
I sent an email to Ingo today with same proof. I don’t give a fig what happens now.

I had 2 checks one for an overpayment and a insurance claim check that I tried to cash at the bank issuer and they said I couldn’t cash it it could only be deposited to try a check cashing place tried so many different places no where would cash it so I went online looking up how to cash it if I didn’t have a bank account and came across ingo so I doenloaded the app and tried it within about 2 minutes of having app I had my money it was so easy and didn’t have to drive around store to store
