Solar battery installation

Andy and Lewis arrived on time and clearly explained what was to be done. They were very professional and polite and kept me informed on progress. On completion they gave me a demonstration and left the work area clean and tidy. A great job completed by two pleasant and competent guys. Thanks.

Infinity Renewables, top marks,

having decided to get solar panels installed we then had the "minefield" to go through to decide which company to use, Infinity Renewables were the final choice as having spoken to Rory who went through our options and a good price we decided to use this company, The surveyor was very conscientious regards our home, advised us of the timescale and what was going to occur, Come the install date the sparks Scott, who had travelled a fair distance arrived and instantly put me at ease, A more professional and competent electrician, I have yet to meet, he carried out his work clean and tidy leaving a nice clean job and took pride in his work, next was Carl, he was there to install the panels, he also took great pride in ensuring the panels were neat, correctly aligned with each other and tidied all rubbish away, I saw a few comments regarding the scaffold teams for other customers, regarding erection and removal of scaffold, well I can honestly say the 3 scaffolders who carried out our work were also conscientious and tidy, so again I can't fault them. I will say, without prejudice, the experience , quality of work and being kept in the loop was top notch, and I have no doubt in recommending that this company if you are considering a solar installation,

Great use of initiative by Scott who…

Great use of initiative by Scott who phoned and asked if we were free earlier than our appointment, by 2days. As this suited us, he arranged to visit that day. He worked very efficiently with all the tools laid out close by and finished the job of installing extra battery capacity within 40mins. He was happy explaining the process whilst he worked. An excellent job. Thank you

Outstanding assistance solving a technical problem

Having changed my broadband provider and Router I needed to reconnect my datalogger. I telephoned Infinity technical section and Lydia immediately emailed the procedure. I started the process as described in the emailed procedure but needed some help and contacted Infinity again and Lydia patiently guided me through the final steps and the datalogger was reconnected. Lydia's assistance was clear, concise and expertly explained as I walked between the battery and the Shine Lanbox. Her professional and comprehensive knowledge of the equipment and the manner of delivery of the guidance was exemplary. Thank you Infinity.

A really seamless experience

A really seamless experience. Infinity handled our installation after applying through our Wiltshire Council Solar Together scheme. I was very impressed with the communication and speed it all took place. The Infinity AI app has been really interesting to be able to quickly understand what the system will be delivering and how it will adapt. I appreciated follow up call with Johannes, who answered some questions around the app, my system and how to get the most from it.

The installation team were great at…

The installation team were great at working round the complexity of installing in an older house, and giving alternatives for positioning the equipment. But also Jake Heys of Support was especially good at answering a whole raft of questions I had, fully setting my mind at rest and giving me confidence to own and run the system.

Great customer service

I had a disconnect between my inverter and the app so could not see how my solar system was performing. I sent an email to the Tech support team. I received timely replies. I phoned the team and spoke to Jake Heys, Customer Service Manager/Tech Lead. It's no often you come across a really helpful person who has all the expertise at their fingertips. He talked me through step by step and resolved the issue. Great patience, good humoured. A super ambassador for your company. Thank you so much.

Great company and installers

Installers let me know they would be delayed due to traffic. Once on site Brad and Zach worked really hard to get install done.
Day two it rained all day but Zach and Ali were on the roof all day and nearly got finished. Only beaten by daylight!! And a broken saw blade.
Zach returned today and finished install. He ran through the work carried out along with photos. Great experience, would recommend.

EXCELLENT . Highly recommend

From initial interest through to having my panels fitted I felt totally confident that Infinity Renewables were the correct choice. They were helpful, would respond to emails or by direct calling, answered all the technical queries. Engineer who surveyed site was great at explaining the process and what was being ordered. The fitting team actually came a day earlier than expected and fitted 14 panels over two roofs. They work throughout the day and even when it got dark outside. The chaps (Robbie and Jake) were exceptionally hard workers even on a cold wet day....well done and thank you both!. They got the job done and fully up and running, explained the App and how the system works before a long drive home. I will also say the tech team, customer service, scaffolding and survery engineer have all been great and have made this whole process worth recommending to anyone thinking of investing in solar panels.

Poor communication and awful customer service.

Absolutely shocking from the moment I parted with my money!
When the surveyor came he stated that the cables would need to go around the outside of the house and across the kitchen wall inside. I decided against having them. However on telling them that they them decided following a video call that they could be routed through the cellar celling up through the floor as a result I went ahead with the purchase. On day of installation the electrician reverted to the original plan, I was completely devastated and felt I had been deliberately lied to to secure the sale. However worse was to come. The guys found a small leak in the roof and had to postpone. If the surveyor had bothered to go up into the loft as I offered we could have sorted this beforehand. The electrician came back just after Christmas and having waited a few hours he phoned only to find the installer had gone sick. No communication to him or us. No apologies or rebook. However the installer phoned a couple of days later, just as I was leaving to say he was on his way! When he arrived I asked him to check he had the correct size panels as we were having the larger ones, of course he didn't so put up a couple of brackets and left. To his credit he did come back the next day. It was windy and he didn't bring tall enough ladders for the rear of the house to take the cable from the loft to the cellar so postponed again. Finally on day five over 7 weeks we have working panels. Scaffolding still here and no paperwork yet but I am hopeful.
Update: The company has contacted me and worked to rectify my problems. They have apologised and agreed their communication and service has been poor. I appreciate their honesty, there were unforeseen absences and showed a desire to 'put things right'. Therefore I have upgraded my star reviews to reflect that. I feel confident going forward.

Great Technical Support

Having had my Solar PV and Battery system installed by Infinity Renewables some two years ago, it's proven to be pretty reliable. On the few occassions I've needed to contact the Infinity Technical Support team, I've always found them to be helpful and responsive, providing explanations and guidance documentation to resolve the few minor issues arising.
I'd particularly mention Jake Heys, who has recently helped me to recalibrate my battery (after it lost calibration and wasn't fully charging) and provided me with clear explanations and guidance so that I should be able to restore the calibration myself should this be needed again in the future. Thank you Jake.

Easy, Efficient, Great Experience...

Very good response to questions and helping to settle our minds by Rory. Good overall communication by office team and Scaffolders prior to install and then by Josh from the install team. Great work by the install team of Josh, Charlie, and Sunny, very efficient, tidy cable work, very easy to work with. So far great, panels are generating even on cloudy days... looking forward to a fully sunny day to see how much can be generated. Definitely would recommend.

Additional Battery & Zappi Charger - Infinity Renewables

I had previously used Infinity Renewables (IR) for my solar installation with batteries. At the time I compared them with Sustain Homes, BG and Octopus for further work, IR stood out as the most customer-centric and the best value for money.

I decided to upgrade by adding additional battery capacity and a home charger. As always, the ordering , installation date process was straightforward. I received a good discount as a returning customer, which was much appreciated.

Cameron came to our home and completed the installation with minimal fuss. Everything was set up smoothly, and he took the time to ask how we wanted the cabling routed so it looked neat and tidy. He even helped me move items I had hanging on the wall to ensure there was sufficient clear space in the garage. Also offering some electrical options i had. Great stuff thinking of the customer.

The work was completed to a very high standard — extremely neat, no mess left behind, Battery and charger exactly where i wanted them and a clear explanation of how the batteries integrate with the system and how overnight charging works. Cameron also helped set up the Zappi charger and genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

We did experience a couple of minor teething issues. The charger initially delivered wasn’t tethered, but IR resolved this immediately and a replacement was obtained within 60 minutes.
There was also an inverter error that appeared the day before installation; Cameron reassured us it would be fixed within 30 minutes — and it was. You don't have to worry when IR are on site, they just get things done.

Infinity Renewables are not only excellent installers, but they truly shine when it comes to customer centric service. You can judge a company by how they respond when things don't go quite to plan, IR excel here.

Nothing is ever a problem, issues are simply sorted quickly, and there is no negative impact on the customer. I would highlight i have only encountered the odd minor issue.

My system is full functioning and up and running. If you are not sure on set up, you only have to mail or ring the Technical team and they will walk you thorough the change and or send you the documentation needed.

IR are an extremely customer-focused organisation. Their staff are polite, knowledgeable, and consistently go out of their way to help.

I continue to recommend Infinity Renewables.

Outstanding, expert technical support

Following the increase of my solar battery storage in December 2025, some unexpected technical issues came to light. From the time that Technical Support were consulted on these, the response has been excellent. At the outset, Georgia identified that the observed grid charge rate limitation of the inverter (not explicit in the Growatt specification or made clear in my pre-order enquiries) was actually a hardware limitation. In January, some pairing issues between the inverter and the data logger also arose. Georgia and Jake were quick to diagnose the problems and guide me, or take action themselves to re-calibrate the data logger, to restore stable, normal operation. Jake has also provided a user manual for reference in dealing with any problems that may arise in future. The rapid, knowledgeable and very helpful customer support from Georgia and Jake has been outstanding and I heartily applaud them.
