Not Ideal for loft boilers
Our boiler is located in the loft and there's no possibility to attach a ladder to the hatch. Ideal Heating is refusing to come and service the boiler even though we have provided proof of safe access. The customer service (Rebecca) was friendly though and kindly agreed to return the warranty money we paid for.

Not worth repairing 12 years old
The boiler is 12 years old and apparently it's not worth repairing which is a shame I thought it might have another three years life. Anyway apparently they will offer a discount on a new boiler so I'll just have to see what happens. So it's difficult really to give it a star rating. So I went for the middle rating three stars. Despite being 12 years old it's the first time my boilers actually played up so ideal do make a reliable boiler
