I’d personally like to thank Josh Thain who dealt with our file whilst purchasing our first house. He helped us massively chasing up everyone and allowed us to purchase the house much quicker than we initially thought. Always a delight to talk to on the phone and always on the ball. Thankyou!

Dealt with Louise Gildea and have no complaints whatsoever. HSD were upfront from the very start. They offered me a fair price for what I needed (a quick sale), and they didn't mess me about. There were no hidden charges or last-minute 'surprises'. The price they offered me at the start was the exact amount I received at the end (minus my outstanding mortgage amount, of course).
Everything was taken care of with the minimum of fuss, and although I was wary throughout and waiting for a big hiccup to occur, the deal went through smoothly.
I'd highly recommend HSD if you need a quick sale.

House Sales Direct are very efficient. I had viewing immediately after signing the contract which resulted in a sale. Mason was my contact and he was extremely polite and answered all my questions.

Although the property I viewed wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, Sandy was very helpful and friendly - she managed to track down some missing keys and sorted things quickly. Thanks Sandy!

We were roped in with the promise of a quick sale in a few weeks. 6 Months later, still no sale and we're apparently contractually bound to them until the end of a 12 month period, something that was never made clear at the start. Terms and conditions were discussed over the phone but this was never mentioned. We also never saw the written ts and cs despite asking for them. The house price was reduced without our consent "to generate interest". We were constantly asked to consider prices lower than what they agreed was a safe price at the start. The only positive is it's now been sold (for MUCH less than we originally agreed). Also, there are legal fees to pay despite what they promise. They only cover fees up to a certain threshold. Would definitely wait it out next time with a traditional estate agent.

I have been speaking to Simon over the last few months.
All i can say that he is obviously very good at his job.
He makes sure that everything is done in a timely fashion. He is very thourough and doesn't let anything hang about.
1st class in my opinion, and a credit to House Sales Direct and to his industry.

It has now gone from regular meeting requests to absolutely nothing... Last week I asked for progress on queries from the person assigned to me, she would return on 30 April and have heard nothing from her. sent a following up this morning, radio silence. solicitors confirmed that they would follow up on queries two weeks ago, haven't heard anything since... is there anyone I can speak to regarding the sale of my property and how far along the process is? My previous post was removed because of a name being mentioned, amazing that names may be mentioned when service receives a good rating...I would appreciate urgent feedback on my requests, thank you.

I have nothing but kind things to say about our experience. Fatima Bibi really made sure an intimidating process of first time buying was fully understood at every step. We’re still in the process and weekly I speak to Fatima on the status of the sale. I’ve had nothing but support since my contact with her :)

I had a great experience viewing a property with Joe the property representative. He was professional, responsive, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I didn't know house sales move direct where a online housing estate agent. It' shows. Let me explain. I can say this now, I finally got my holding deposit back of 6k which they refused to hand back over a month sooner, apart of their terms, which I didn't sign up too.

This company trade under Lowerhousing estates limited. They never viewed the property. I got told that by the seller. He let slip. When I went sale agreed, one of the sales representatives who works in sales was extremely pushy that I depart with 6K as a holding deposit. I did, after a day and a half, stupidly. However it took 2 months to receive this back after I pulled out of the property after I got a survey done. It stated that it was non-habitual by the surveyor report. They were extremely pushy that I proceeded. They had there own independent panel of solicitors on board.. Carbon Law being one on them. Obviously some kind of business deal.

Red flags... if you look up housing sales direct..they're a dissolved company..but trading under a different company. They're pushy for you to depart of funds to make money. my opinion is to hold it in their own account to gain interest of the company's behalf.
They tried to convince me to live in property after it had ABESTO'S issues, damp, electrical faults/ plug sockets falling out the wall, ventilation issues were also included. ( jackpot)

Contact with them over the start via phone was instant, and i was getting closer to proceed with the sale until the surveyor report came back ..which i sent to them. Communication became impossible. They still had 6K of a holding deposit of mine, and took away for £500 as some kind of agreement added on top of that. I called them.

Long story short I got the money back after two months, doesn't help if you're a buyer and if you have a mortgage offer in place. Please avoid. I don't write reviews usually but the icing on the cake was when they informed me that I would the funds on the day. Didn't happen. I couldn't get hold them via phone. They blocked my number. i called on a colleagues phone, they answered,. and wrote a emails

It was very stressful. Please avoid!!

All staff at this estate agent are very friendly,polite and professional.
My house viewing with this company was very pleasant experience.

Shirel assisted me at the processing stage. She was very helpful and responses were extremely quick. I would highly recommend her from the team. Kind regards.
