Well Holly rushed me through the whole process, didnt informed me that there will be a £86 coming out of my account as a subscription fee and then £137 again at the end of term. Not happy with it

Fell for the salesman rattling through numbers and asking for the payment details.. Cooling off period is 14 days. I cancelled within 9 hrs from the call so hopefully this can be erased like never happened.

Use with extreme caution - after a pretty hard sell from our letting agent (Johns & co) my student son signed up to use Homebox services for a one bedroom flat. £15 per month for their services to sort out all bills seemed reasonable. The experience was terrible. They said they needed to collect £275 PER MONTH for the bills for a ONE BEDROOM FLAT!! In the end they only ended up sorting out the electricity bill for us (all other bills we still ended up having to sort out ourselves!), getting what we thought looked like a good tariff until we realised we were paying £1 PER DAY of commission to Homebox for the privilege of having that tariff! The monthly electricity bills averaged out at around £40 so we were almost paying as much in commission! Also we had always told them that we were signing up for an eight month lease but when we gave notice they tried to charge a FOUR MONTH cancellation fee! In my view, don’t go near them - but if you do keep your eyes open. Their portal is very un-user friendly so you get no feel for the monies in and out (hence why we had no idea about the £1 per day charge).

This company has a single job that they fail to do. They are to pay my bills on time and accurately. They are registered to receive all of my bills, yet the repeatedly fail to update the amount paid monthly when the bills go up each year. I have every one of my utilities and my council tax calling me about payment arrears each month. When I call Homebox to correct it, they act as though I have done things incorrectly, even though they are the ones receiving the paper billing copies. An outrageously bad service.
