Had to email about 20 times and report to shopify before I finally got partially refunded on a pre order that was placed 16 weeks prior absolute joke. I’m still owed £3.50 for shipping I paid.

Never recieved my order at all! I placed a pre-order back in January of 2024 for Op-05 booster boxes. Thinking this would be great addition for my one piece collection. Yeah I never recieved it! I found out thru a friend who placed the same pre-order that they didn't fulfill his order. So I contacted them 8 months later. Never once did I receive any updates or emails from them saying they could not fulfill or offer me my refund. I finally emailed them about my order, oh sorry we are not a LGS and products are limited and yadda yadda yadda. We'll if you know you can't fulfill the pre-orders wouldn't you make an effort to contact your customers and update them on it? Reply times are the worse from them! I dont want any excuses i want you guys to own up. Either fulfill the orders, and if you cannot refund the customer. The worst experience ever!!! I would never do business with them again!!! What shady business! And here I thought you guys are a reputable source for the community. That went out the door real quick for me.
***Just an update. While the experience i had with them is a rough one. It is not entirely their fault. They explained the circumstances to me and I get it. Nonetheless I was able to get my refund back. So I am changing it from a 1 star to a 3 star. For their swift actions addressing the concern.

No customer service at all, they do not reply to email.
Bought a card with a few filler cards. Shipped the filler cards and cancelled the one expensive card instead of reaching out to confirm order.
Store says that there's a dedicated live chat service, but my message since Jan 9th has not been answered even though I've been on their site for an entire week waiting for a reply. Don't expect a reply at all unless you submit a negative review, then they will get right to it.
As a customer, how can we expect that every card purchase may be "too good to be true" and then not expect store to sell it? Prices of cards are dynamic based on the market so there can always be an excuse that the card are not correctly priced. I've bought more than enough cards from other stores that they will honour the purchase regardless. Hodges should have reached out to mention that the card was incorrectly priced prior to processing the rest of the order. If I knew this would've happened, I would've not ordered at all because I've wasted money on shipping some filler cards.

I pre-ordered Disney Lorcana Azurite Seas on the 2nd of November, stated release date was on the 29th. It wasn't shipped for about a week after this. It's worth noting it's only a team of two so if they get overwhelmed with orders it's probably hard for them to keep up.
It was very well packaged and probably the best price anywhere, they did also include 2 free packs for the delay, maybe don't preorder if you want them on release day. But if you're not in a rush give them a try
There were delays from the distributor but Hodges were open about this and kept me informed.
Delivery was fast when available and well packaged.
Couldn't recommend this store enough. Fast,helpful and friendly response with any request.

Originally I was going to give this a bad review as like everyone else I pre ordered hoping to get this on or near release day. It appears due to external force this wasn’t possible. Hodges communicated really well and were generous enough to compensate everyone with free boosters. Really appreciate the customer support.
I used to be able to trust this website. I pre-ordered two booster boxes for Lorcan set 6 which was released on the 27th November. I still haven't received my order. They're blaming the storm Bart; however other stores have received set 6 on time. Emails are ignored. I have been asking for an estimate day. I just seen they said they don't have to reply to every single customer on another review. They replied to me to say it was because of the storm. It shouldn't be difficult to give a date to a customer. I am missing out as I don't have set 6 cards.
MORE: If you read their reply saying to be receive on time. Release date is gone. Got an email with another excuse saying their order has been sent to another warehouse. Still unable to give a date for when my order would be posted. I asked to be refunded or have my order by the end of the week. Nothing, no reply.

Preordered a booster box a few weeks before release date. 3 days after the official release date, there has been no update to the order even with the delivery option being 'Royal Mail Tracked 48 ( Day Release Pre-Orders)'. I've emailed twice, used their websites live chat as well as their 'contact us' section. No response to any of them. On this experience, it'll be the only time ordering from them.

Excellent packaging made the the whole experience just that bit better. Will definitely get all my pre orders through hodgestradingcards.
Good team any problems I have had, been able to fix quick and simple, also Order a psa graded card and gave me updates on delivery. Excellent service.
Generally great, actual delivery was on-time and speedy though the dispatch notification came four days before Royal Mail were ever passed the parcel. This pre-order wasn't sent in the lovely box with tissue paper padding, but instead was all wrapped in bubble-wrap: less environmentally friendly but still safe so can't really complain.
Great service again, second time I've pre ordered form Hodges and I will continue to use them.
