Our experience with hipages has been extremely disappointing.

We signed a 12-month contract based on the expectation of receiving quality leads, but the reality has been very different. The booking success rate has been extremely low, many leads are delayed by the time they reach us, and we've had ongoing issues accessing our account and leads when we needed them most.

As a small business, every marketing dollar counts. Instead of helping us grow, this platform has cost us time, money and frustration. Customer support has been slow to resolve issues, and despite raising our concerns, we've seen very little improvement.
It's also worth noting that many of the 5-star reviews appear to come from homeowners using the platform to find trades, not from the tradies who are paying significant amounts to generate work. I would encourage other business owners to read reviews from fellow trades before signing a long-term contract.
Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend hipages to other trade businesses.

I hired Nick Spalding from VIP Garden services, I paid $1000 deposit and paid for 2 days accommodation. Nick only completed one half of the yard, he spent most of the time complaining about the project, stalled for time and left half the yard unfinished. I had to complete some of his work with a broken leg, while he stalled and wasted time. Then he sent an invoice expecting full payment, I text him over my concerns and asked for him to call me to discuss. He fsiled to call then sent me a number of texts accusing me of abuse and creating his own narratives to excuse a job half done. Nick and his partner are two older me in their 60's and they seem to struggle with the work load and a majority of the time his offsider was struggling and looked like he was about to collapse. I don't recommend Nick Spalding from VIP services. I have now obtained another contractor to finish the work Nick failed to do, the new contractor confirmed that Nick definitely didn't do the work according to the quote.

Not happy!

I've used hipages on three occasions with great outcomes from each. The tradies are specialists and equally well versed in communicating with and responding to customers if my experience is any indication. They have each shown considerable expertise and efficiency. I use hipages with confidence.

I got quotes quickly and went on to hire the right guys to do the job. WIll be using HiPages again.

If you’re looking forward to using hipages to start a business and get leads , don’t bother because 99% of their leads are fake and they are extremely expensive. Let’s just say you get leads and work hard to get reviews build your ranking , the moment you no longer want to be in a contract , they will ask to pay them $30 a month to not delete your profile and reviews that you worked hard for and honestly you would be better off just using google to advertise your business because at least you own your profile and reviews there

These scumbags want me to pay$30 a month to no delete my profile that I worked hard for to get 5 reviews on , but I’d rather spend that money on a google advertisement than this scammy business

I would not recommend this service.
I found myself locked into a contract even after I had stopped using the service. The company could clearly see that I had not accepted any ongoing leads for at least three months due to significant changes in my business and personal circumstances.
During this time, I was dealing with pregnancy-related challenges and financial hardship. Despite explaining my situation and attempting to communicate via email as requested, I received little to no response. I also made phone calls seeking assistance and understanding, but the focus remained on collecting payment rather than discussing possible solutions.
A final payment of $140 was ultimately referred to debt collection, despite my efforts to maintain communication and my explanation of the difficult circumstances I was facing, including concerns about housing insecurity during the Sunshine Coast housing shortage.
What disappointed me most was the lack of empathy, communication, and flexibility shown throughout the process. As a previous customer, I had hoped for a more supportive and understanding approach. Instead, I felt that my concerns were disregarded and the situation was unnecessarily escalated.
Based on my experience, I found the customer service and communication to be very poor, and I would not recommend this service to other business owners.

The terms and conditions are not fair. There is a seven days cooling off period but we cannot except any leads they’re charging us upfront but in the terms and condition it says we cannot accept any leads in those seven days that’s totally unfair terms and conditions

Hi pages reviews are a con. They publish only 5 star reviews. Genuine lower reviews are trashed.

I had Michael from MBP electrical install and supply downlights. I requested an electrician on Saturday night and Michael came out the next morning at 8am. He was so nice and so fast.
I couldn't believe the price he quoted - It was very reasonable.
I would highly recommend him any day.

Do any small business owners have problems with HI PAGES getting false leads and costing money.

Leads where customers don’t follow up after talking to them and they tell you this and that but they are not legit just time wasting

I got very expensive quotes for a small job seems like people like to take advantage of needed services.

Thanks to hipages, we were able to find someone immediately.

Worst experience!! If I could give zero stars i would.

Leads I received were terrible. To the point I could not make a living from it.

Returned to a full time job and was then told I couldn’t cancel my subscription unless I cancelled my ABN. Hi pages continued taking money from my account even when I was in financial hardship and then couldn’t buy groceries for my household.

Support was poor and dismissive.

Great Tradie and so easy to deal with. Evan did a fantastic job with the install of our Air Conditioners. Very neat, tidy and cleaned up after himself.
No hesitation in recommending One Touch Solutions.

If you’re a tradie thinking about signing up to hipages, don’t.

I was sold the idea that I’d be getting consistent leads and work through the platform. What actually happened? 6 months of paying $80 a month for absolutely nothing in return. Not one job.

Leads are either non-existent, poor quality, or sent to multiple tradies at once so you’re competing in a race to the bottom. You end up paying for the opportunity to chase work that goes nowhere.

There’s zero return on investment. You’re basically paying a subscription just to hope something comes through—and in my case, nothing ever did.

Plenty of promises upfront, but once you’re signed up, you’re on your own.

Save your money and invest it into your own marketing or direct referrals. At least that actually works.
