Hackajob was previously a joy to use and it felt highly effective. I secured 2 jobs on this platform in the past (most recent was 3 years ago.) I have tried to use it again recently and frankly it felt useless. It's clearly gone fully in on AI and there is no personal touch. In the past I had an agent who would contact me and give me options but this does not seem to be the case anymore. I had zero communication with any recruiters or companies. Disappointing from a company that was promising to revolutionise recruitment

I'm sorry to hear your experience has changed so significantly. We do still have the support team, we just reach out a lot less and rely on managing inbound queries from candidates.
With regards to the direct outreach from recruiters, we do still have this model, and some companies utilise it, however the market has moved, with less and less companies sourcing in this way and more relying on inbound applications, our product has had to evolve with the times and both offer the older model for companies sourcing direct as well as match candidates up to companies relying on inbound.
We're landing more candidates than ever jobs, so I hope you'll persevere with the service and I'm sure it'll come good.

Feels borderline like data-harvesting
Created a profile to apply for a LexisNexis job that did not have a geographic location specified. (I'm New York based). When I got evaluated by their little AI filter, it said there were geographic limitations I didn't fulfill.
Things are misspelled across the application. Just overall incredibly shoddy.

I'm sorry to hear we didn't live up to expectations, the location on Linkedin should definitely have aligned to the location on platform, if you can provide more insight into the job I'd be happy to investigate.
The reason we don't let you apply to roles where there's a location mismatch is we're trying to solve the problem of companies drowning in irrelevant applcations/candidates applying to roles that go nowhere, one major factor in this problem is location, with candidates applying to roles despite being out of the area a company is considering candidates, any role you're presented with on hackajob you can guarantee meets your location preferences as well as salary, skills etc.
Regarding the mispellings, please do provide additional insight here and I'll be happy to investigate, we are originally a UK company, so it's possible it's the use of UK spelling's vs American.
