Hi Kamala,

hackajob is a little different to other services you may be using, job boards etc. - where you can search and apply to any roles.

We only show you roles that match your skills, experience and specified criteria, this can feel a little jarring if you're not seeing matches, but it does mean when a match does land you can guarantee it ticks all your boxes.

The reason we do this is to save candidates time, avoiding wasted time applying to roles that don't meet your criteria.

Hi Philip,

Thanks for feeding back here, we found your profile active on a job board so we assumed you were on the lookout for a new role at the moment, but apologies if you felt the reachout was unsolicited.

With regard to the roles with broken links, unfortunately they'd both paused, this has however highlighted an issue we need to resolve and the team are looking into solutions as to how we can ensure this is communicated better even if the role does pause.

The platform doesn't support search & browse of all jobs we only invite you to apply to roles that meet all of your criteria/choices and experience, this helps candidates avoid spending time applying to roles that lead nowhere (which is ironic given the links we sent went nowhere, which highlights why that issue is a priority fix for us).

Hey Vaibhav,

If you're unable to apply it's usually because you don't match the location, eligibilty, salary, seniority or skills requirements against the role - we only show roles where you match all requirements as this is how we save both candidates and companies time.

I've reached out direct to find out which role it is and I'd be happy to provide some insight as to why you're not matching/see if we can make some tweaks to change that.
