Misleading job ads on LinkedIn/Indeed that you can’t actually apply for
Hackajob regularly posts job adverts on LinkedIn and Indeed that appear like normal, applyable roles. They are not.
You click through expecting to apply, only to find you cannot apply to the role at all. Instead, you’re forced to sign up to their platform and wait for their system to “match” you with opportunities.
Once inside, the roles you are actually sent are often completely unrelated to the jobs that were advertised externally or to the preferences you set in your profile.
So the experience is:
Attractive, relevant job ads posted on major job boards
No actual ability to apply for those roles
Forced platform sign-up as a gate
Followed by mismatched, irrelevant job suggestions
This feels less like a recruitment platform and more like a lead-generation funnel built around job adverts people can’t actually access.
If a job is advertised on LinkedIn or Indeed, it should be possible to apply for it. Anything else is misleading.
P.S. Look at the users who post positive reviews of this company. They're all users with 1 or 2 reviews only and no verification 'tick'.

P.P.S. I have seen your reply and your request for my contact info and have sent it to you. I have also seen your response suggesting that 'Advertising a Role you cannot apply for' is correct and not an error.
Both LinkedIn and Indeed have the following rule:
"Using job ads primarily for lead generation, rather than hiring, is not permitted."
Which is why I report you every time I see one of your fake job ads.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm sorry to hear we haven't lived up to expectations.
Part of your feedback is describing the model working as it should, there are a lot of sites out there that allow any candidate to apply to any job - this often leads to candidates applying to roles they never hear back from, and companies drowning in applications for candidates that don't align based on skills, locations, salaries, eligibility etc. - this then just leads to a poor experience on both sides, exasperated by the volume continuing to build.
On hackajob we act as the first layer of an application, only showing candidates roles that meet all of their criteria & match their background, it can be jarring for sure when you see jobs externally that you don't see on platform, but it's this very reason that means hackajob candidates are 3x more likely to progress per application.
However, you've flagged the matches you're getting are not relevant, this is definitely not part of the plan, due to the additional datapoints we collect vs other services, matches should be of a high quality/relevant - I've requested contact info as I'd love to investigate this further.

Thanks for feeding back here, we only show roles which match your profile, whether that be skills or preferences, this helps save time & avoids you applying for roles that will end up in rejection.
However, if you signed up via a specific job page the platform should have clarified why you weren't a match for it, I've reached out to collect more information, I'd be happy to look into this and help understand why you didn't match the role in question.
With the relocation options - this is something we implemented with purpose, we did used to allow people to add a country, but then found that many people would select this without giving serious thought to relocating OR having specific preferences around relocating, often there were many locations they would never consider - which then led to wasted time for companies and candidates.
So we pivoted to ensuring candidates add specific locations that they'd genuinely consider relocating to, it does involve more work to set up and we appreciate that's a trade-off, but it tends to produce better matches for all.
