I have just had a stand up argument…
I have just had a stand up argument with driver and crew as they collected my rubbish. One chap picked up my neighbours bag, decided it was to heavy and dumped it outside my house! Took my bags and put them in truck. When I RAN out to tell him it was not my bag he totally ignored me. I had to shout at him to get his attention. I explained it’s not my bag ( heavy or not ) and to remove it from in front of my house. After all three of these strapping men got out to tell me it was too heavy and they where not taking it. It was still not my rubbish and outside my house ! I had to shout over them and my husband had to come out to see what was going on. After another argument the chap had to put the bag back we here he found it. IF the bag is to HEAVY leave it don’t throw it outside someone else’s house. Very intimidating to have to deal with three strapping men and be totally ignored, very rude.

Every Wednesdays when the wheelie bin…
Every Wednesdays when the wheelie bin truck come to empty the bins at the bottom of Castleview Road, Clondalkin. They never put the empty bins back to where they pick them up not even near, terrible service from these people. Management should keep an eye on these workers, terrible service all I can say.

Yous are not very good for keeping to your word, first you said that you would have the direct debit set up then are bins are not emptied we ring up and you say we owe money this is the reason are bin where not emptied so we ring again and yous say you's would pick the bins up yesterday (Friday) but still no sign this is ridiculous

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Bins aren't collected for no reason and then when rescheduled, they don't show up and customer service keeps dodging questions. It really seems like the company is ran by a bunch of chipmunks that aren't even trained.

Update: This was eventually resolved after 5 weeks. I'm increasing from 1 to 2 stars because of that.

Collection of full skip is 5 days overdue .....
From my experience, Greyhound Recycling are not to be relied upon to remove full skips within agreed timescales.
Last week - I booked a 14cubic metre skip for 1 day. It is still sitting on my driveway 5 days later.
I cannot park my car in our driveway which means I have to park on the road. Where we live, this incurs an hourly parking cost.
My telephone calls go straight to a call centre. The call centre team assure me when I call them, that the skip "will be removed before the end of that day".
As each day goes by, it is apparent that these are meaningless assurances. The skip continues to block the driveway - 5 days overdue for collection.
On a daily basis, since last week, we have experienced numerous visits from unwanted strangers who come on to our property to rifle through the skip. This is very alarming and makes us feel unsafe in the house.
We cannot prevent this by shutting our gate because the skip is blocking it.
All we want is the skip to be collected. We seem powerless to make this happen. All very disappointing and very upsetting.
I would not recommend Greyhound Recycling (Skip Hire) and will certainly not use this company again.

Took the money and ran.
Ordered and paid for a skip to be delivered on Friday. Never turned-up. Promised it would be delivered on Saturday. Never turned-up. Gave-up! The worst customer service I have ever encountered and a company built on lies and poor management.

No care for child safety.
Their bin truck speeds....and i mean SPEEDS around our estate like its Mondello park, I asked the driver why he was going so fast with so many children out playing in the estate and he said "What Children" just as 3 kids walked by his truck. The driver and the company do not care about our childrens safety, I contacted the company to make a complaint and zero response.

Absolutely shocking stuff, I received a call from a Greyhound staff member who reviewed my complaint and they said nothing will be done as he was NOT breaking the speed limit of 30km an hour. 30km an hour in a 10 ton truck in a housing estate around corners are you kidding me ???

Unbelievable crew
Unbelievable crew, continually leaving my neighbours bins green and brown right in front of my driveway. My neighbour is not to blame as I know they leave them at their wall each time, but fools emptying them don't seem to remember 10 seconds later where they got them from.

I really dislike greyhound
I really dislike greyhound, it all stems from a horrendously rude customer service representative I had the misfortune to deal with. On top of that they're overly expensive, and you have to constantly keep an eye on the charges - I've had a few instances where I've been double charged.
I really dislike them, my advice is for you to look elsewhere.

Good service but no bin washing service provided. Panda also service my area and they provide bin washing service. Rating only 3 stars otherwise good collection service. Was orginally with Green Star.

We have found the service from…
We have found the service from Greyhound to be top class, They empty the bins in our area early on Monday mornings, even when it is a holiday weekend.
The only slightly negative feedback is that they sometimes leave the bins either out in the middle of the footpath or on the road, instead of putting the bin back where they got it.

Rip off charges
These guys do not operate pay per weight. If you put 1kg or 20kg in your bin you pay the same. Minimum fixed charge punishes people who waste less and recycle.

Iv really only 1 thing bad review too…
Iv really only 1 thing bad review too add . Went bin men come to collect my bins i find i have to walk nearly have way down from my house to collect my empty bin . Been unable to walk far due to have arthris in both my knees plus slip dic in lower back . The bin men should be leaving our bin back at our gates outside were we leave them to be pick up . It not a lot too ask . Other than this greyhound are good company .
