Greens carried out removals for our recent house move and were absolutely brilliant. They arrived on time on the day of the move, loaded everything with great care and very quickly, and unloaded everything carefully and quickly at the new place. They also took great care to protect carpets and floors.

They were polite and friendly throughout and overall a pleasure to deal with from the point of obtaining a quotation all the way through to delivering the service.

So pleased I went with them.the men were so good. Start to finish. Had you the stairs in the end with my sofa bed.well .done lads would recommend them 5 stars all the way .

They helped me with moving and kept some of my belongings in storage for years. During all this time they were responsible, good in communication and reasonably priced. Having a lot of experience with moving companies, I would certainly prefer them for my future moves. Special thanks to Richard, the manager, for being extremely kind and helpful.

Absolutely first class service from the start to the end of the process. We completed fairly quickly and the team were efficient and supportive during the move. We had the full removals including packing. I could not fault the dedication of the whole team, but special thanks to Ant, Lewis and Graham on the day of the move - they went above expectations and got us in and settled so quickly.

Excellent service. We shipped our home furniture and personal belongings from the UK to Qatar with Greens Removals, and we were very impressed from start to finish. Communication was clear. The shipment arrived in good time. All our items arrived in good in condition, and Greens' partner company in Qatar was amazing. They unpacked all our furniture, helped to assemble large items, and took away the rubbish. Would certainly use this company again.

Recently moved a family member from Suffolk to West Yorkshire. In honesty don’t know how just 2 men completed the packing …. Transport…. And unloading. Super efficient and really friendly….i would highly recommend.

The company really do provide a five star removal service. From initial contact the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and the wrapping, packing and stacking second to none. The two removal operatives were professional throughout. The unloading in West Yorkshire had no easy access but they managed without complaint or fuss. Respectful of possessions they did a sterling job and family members receiving the delivery were equally impressed with the service provided. They were a credit to the company and when people advertise they provide a 'five star service' this sometimes turns out to be a bit of a contradiction, but not in the case of Greens removals. They really do provide an exceptional service from initial contact to final delivery and I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. They really do take the stress out of what can be a very difficult time. Thank you seems inadequate.

My shipping from the UK to Wellington, NZ took 4 months (2 months longer than the original estimate). Whilst I understand that a lot of this was beyond Greens' control, I felt that they could have been more sympathetic to my situation with having the delivery date frequently changed (meaning that I had to find alternative accommodation for an indeterminate and ever changing amount of time). The most frustrating delay was once my shipping had reached Tauranga in NZ and the local partner (World Moving) & Greens did nothing to expedite the movement of my container - it took 20 days to reach Wellington, but Tauranga is approximately 7 hours drive from Wellington (I received no response when I asked why my container couldn't be put on a train or lorry).
The container tracking system that Greens heavily promoted stopped working after I’d used it about 4 times, with the error message saying that I’d used it too often. I got no response from Greens/World Moving about why this had happened, and using it 4 times over 4 months doesn’t seem excessive to me.
The packers in the UK didn’t know I was moving to NZ, so didn’t know anything about NZ’s very specific (& stringent) biosecurity requirements. To me, this was not very professional.
There were several small bits of damage to my effects and to both houses (including damage to the ceiling above the stairs in the UK, and the bed frame, where the packers got one of the bed frames stuck). The UK packers, for some reason (and without my knowledge or approval), pulled out the shelves from a bookcase, with the nails. They didn’t then remove or flatten the nails. So, the shelves were virtually impossible to put back, meaning that the World Moving unpackers had to cut off and flatten the nails. The UK packers also took the hook out of back of a picture, again without permission and I don't know why (all of the other pictures travelled with their hooks).
A lot of my household effects have mildew and/or smell of damp.

Excellent service and staff were very professional. Very competitive rates.

Removal staff were consistently positive, thoughtful and considerate. Anything we asked was no trouble, and they worked incredibly hard to ensure our move was as good as possible. I cannot recommend the whole Company and its approach to moving highly enough.

Our emigration to France journey with Greens removals started with Richard’s home visit to assess the volume of items to move. He started well, inspiring confidence and a personal touch which was maintained as a 5* experience throughout the move. Green’s men who packed and wrapped over three and a half days, were considerate, respectful and very hard working. Problems arising were dealt with quickly, with Richard’s calm reassurance. We cannot recommend this company enough - thank you all for so much calm help.

I used Green Move Removals today to move items to a storage unit, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

From the start, the booking process was smooth and hassle-free. Since I’m not very tech-savvy, I really appreciated being able to handle everything—booking, inventory, and payment—over the phone. Jackson was incredibly helpful throughout.

The moving team was friendly, polite, and efficient. They handled my items with care, loading everything quickly and securely onto the truck. At the storage unit, they unloaded just as carefully, ensuring everything was placed properly.

I have used Greens moving and storage services over tge past 13 years and would highly recommend them. I wouldn’t consider using anyone else. I have always found them to be competitively priced, nothing is too much trouble, all staff are polite and hard working, honest, reliable and punctual. Genuinely great company and people.

We asked for quotes from several removal firms and were impressed by the visit of Paul to assess our need and provide a quote.
The date of removal had to be changed several times and Greens accommodated this without problem. We asked for 30 boxes to do most of our own packing. The team of 3 arrived on time to pack our more delicate items on the 2nd May. They were friendly, explained what they would do, including putting into the van the items we had already packed. They wrapped and packed the delicate items swiftly but safely. We had no damage to any item. They also packed some items of furniture on this day. The following day they again arrived on time and completed the packing of the van within 2.5 hours.
On arrival at our new home the team quickly assessed potential problems and found ways around them. For heavier furniture they gave us the opportunity to have second thoughts about their placement. The process of unpacking the van was speeded up by another team arriving to help during the time they had spare between collecting and delivering their own load.
We hope that we will not be moving home again, but if we were then we would have no hesitation in using Greens.
