Alex has been very helpful planning our trip. She has taken my requests and responded very promptly and communicates clearly.

We booked our first trip to Scotland through Go Rail Travel and are very happy we did. After an inquiry through the internet our agent (Sean) called and I gave him what we were looking for….within a few days he sent over an artinirary of his proposed trip. We booked it and just got back. Everything went fantastic…..a very clear package was sent over a couple weeks with all our tours, accommodations and transportation. Hotels were all fantastic and close to the stations we arrived at….always had priority with check ins as it was booked through the agency. Everything went especially smoothly which made it a once in a lifetime trip for me and my family. We had questions during the trip and Sean was always right there to clarify things for us. A definite A+ and would recommend them to anyone.

Over the past several weeks we've had the pleasure of working with Alex on our itinerary for our first trip to Ireland (and also first rail travel). I had a response on the day of my first email inquiry and she has never wavered. She answers all our questions and has been attentive, detail oriented, knowledgeable and personable! Alex is in my opinion, top of the list, and one of the best we have ever worked with. Very excited to begin our journey. Highly recommend.

Peter responded quickly to all questions and made planning our trip effortless on our end. When we asked for changes they were immediately responded to. We have never travelled to the UK before so this booking made it easy for us, we are really looking forward to our trip.

Before I connected with Sean, I read about Gorailtravel.com first, to assure me if it is a reliable and legitimate company. I heard great things about Sean so when He called me,I was ready to inquire about my trip to Switzerland, He was very friendly, very informative and knowledgeable about the spectacular places in Switzerland. He was inspiring, encouraging and knows about his stuff. I felt comfortable talking to him about my trip and very encouraging when my initial companion reneged on me. Because of that, I was able to encourage 2 college friends to come with me. I am talking to another nurse that agreed to come so there will be four of us. I am waiting for her to call/text me so I can be assured she is coming.
So from 2 people, I was able to definitely book three and probably four of us because of Shean. He is an asset to your company, He has a great personality, very personable, compassionate, very polite, very professional and very endearing! Planning our Scotland rail trip for September 2027 with Joe has been such a wonderful and personal experience. One of the moments that really sold us on the trip was the video Joe shared—it brought the experience to life and helped us picture just how special the Scotland rail adventure would be. Joe was also very cost conscious, which we truly appreciated; he helped us think through options carefully and made sure the planning felt both exciting and financially thoughtful. Alex has done a fab job preparing our itinerary for 7 days in Ireland before joining up with another group. She was attentive to our desires and has stuck with me through a couple of itinerary changes. So far a great experience. I'll comment again in October, once the trip is complete.

Although we did not book through GoRailTravel this year our experience with Joe was excellent - prompt, responsive, polite and knowledgeable.
We definitely want to try the rail travel and will probably think about that for next year.

I just booked a rail trip in Scotland for September 2027. Adam has been fantastic to help me get the information I needed, develop a wonderful trip with just the right amount of exploration each day, and assure me that each step was completed accurately and in a timely manner. He is attentive, friendly, informed, and communicates regularly with reminders as needed. I look forward to the rail trip ahead!

Joe took the time to make a 11 minute video explaining and detailing the itinerary on the tour that he set up for me, which was the icing on the cake that sold me the package. But the deal isn't done yet. I don't understand these companies who want top billing halfway through the sale. When the sale is over on September 28th I will do an update on my experience with go rail travel.
