I sent my IPhone 15 to GoGreenGadgets after seeing the price they would offer online which was £70 higher than the price they quoted after receipt of the phone. They claimed there were scratches etc when the phone was actually in tempered glass screen protection and silicone case the whole time hence in great condition! Anyway, the price dropped after their review. I needed the money so l accepted the offer. This was last Monday 28 September. Since then I haven’t heard back from them nor received the money. I have emailed them several times (no response, just an automated email response) and even messaged on WhatsApp several times to be told that they don’t deal with the repayment side. Useless! To date I still have not received my money. I’m not sure I will now so they have just taken my phone. I will definitely not be using them in the future. Best to use a more reputable company even if they offer a bit less. Very disappointed and annoyed with GoGreenGadgets. Even the finance email from them doesn’t work! Customer service is shambolic!

Absolutely was of time this company is. They like to scam you I sent in a perfect iPhone 16 pro with no issues at all as this was already checked out by the EE techs,
The quote was for £570 but when they had received my phone the technicians had supposedly found a fault with the speaker saying it was muffled. They then offered me £400 so I was not happy with that, knowing that the phone had previously been fully checked by EE and it was perfect.

Anyway after email back and forth we came to a price I was happy to take rather that messing around, brilliant so I thought after receiving the last email it stated that I will receive another email from the financial department to sort out the pay just after 5pm but never received one. To my surprise I emailed them and it was an out of office reply saying they hours are 9am - 4:30pm even though it is on the website saying 9am till 5pm.

I received an email the following morning we’re again a few emails back and forth to be told I will be paid within 5 working days after being led to believe it was say day payment from the facebook advertising THIS IS NOT THE CASE. It is Only same day payment processing in total there was 30 emails sent between us and I only received my payment 6 working days later.

Not good enough as it was more stressful trying to sort it out. Will not use them again please keep clear if you don’t want to be messed around. And I have now discovered that there is a facebook group with all the issues other people are having or had for this company too called Go Green Gadgets Scams/Atrocities

Was easy to do and didn’t take long to process. Sent the phone, showing the QR code they did everything else! Would definitely use again.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Go Green Gadgets is running a textbook bait-and-switch operation. I sent them a completely flawless, spotless phone originally quoted at £235. Once they had my property hostage, they slashed the offer to a pathetic £160. When I asked them to review the fake valuation, they suddenly bumped it to £180, inventing a completely fabricated lie that the "earpiece was faulty" just because they couldn't find a single actual scratch on it. They move the goalposts to rob sellers.
It gets worse. I reluctantly accepted their £180 insult on Monday, 28th September, and they instantly vanished into total silence. No payment was sent, and customer service completely abandoned me, passing the buck to a "finance department" that systematically ignored my emails.
I had to threaten them with a formal legal Notice of Action today just to get a basic response from their elusive finance team claiming payment has finally been processed. I will not delete or change this 1-star review until every single penny of the £180 is physically cleared in my account. Disgraceful, untrustworthy, and predatory business practices. ⭐ My experience with Go Green Gadgets

Unfortunately, my experience with Go Green Gadgets has been extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, the service was nowhere near what I expected from the way the website presents the business.

When you initially search for your device on their website, the estimated price they show can look really appealing. However, once my phone was actually assessed, the final offer was nowhere near the amount originally indicated. They listed various problems with the phone that I personally knew were not issues with the device when I sent it in.

Yes, you are given the option to reject the offer and have your phone returned, but at that point you are left having to trust that your phone will actually be returned and that it will come back in the same condition you sent it in.

The communication was another major issue. I had to wait two weeks to receive my payment, and despite repeatedly emailing and chasing for an update, I mainly received automated responses. It wasn’t until I stated that I was considering taking the matter further legally that I finally received an actual response from someone.

Overall, the whole experience has left me feeling very disappointed and frustrated. The price initially advertised, the final valuation, the communication and the payment delay were all very different from what I expected.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using this service reads the terms carefully and thinks twice before sending their device away. This is based entirely on my own experience with the company.

I accepted (hugely reduced) offer over a week ago - payment has not been received and there’s been no communication or confirmation email from them. I’ve emailed them several times and have had zero useful responses - just sending me back to finance team who ignore my emails. Very poor service and feels like a scam as they have my phone and I’ve had no money for it!

Very simple and easy process. Money didn’t take long to go into my account and the communication was really good and kept me up to date with each step.

Ignore the fake reviews, lowballed me on my offer and then never sent the payment. they also have my phone and my money - do not trust!!!

Absolutely one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. Firstly starting off with offering me £400 LESS than quoted which i obviously declined. They then offered me £450 which somehow they plucked £200 from a phone they were describing as faulty. This then all got agreed on the 25th of October which they say “ payments process the same day the phone arrives. It is now 7th of October and i still haven’t received payment and I'm told it may arrive on the 12th of October. They haven’t even responded to any emails. There hasn’t been any apologies or anything in the meantime. So i would not recommend this place unless you love disappointment.

These people are crooks, thieves, scammers, unlawful, liars and somehow they are able to get away with it.
They "never received" my phone (although i have proof of delivery) and offered me a smaller amount of money as "as a good will gesture".
Eventually agreed on a price and never heard from them again. They have my phone AND my money.
I've filed a fraud report, small claims court (which they didnt respond to) and this has now resulted in my requesting a CCJ against them.
Awful awful company DO NOT USE, DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEY FAKE REVIEWS ON ANY PLATFORM.

Avoid this company at all costs its a total scam. They quote high price then offer low once they have it. They say same day pay out but do not pay. The emails are automated replies so your not actually talking to anyone. Please everyone do not use this company.

On-line valuation for Galaxy s20 £70, next day received a message saying post today and get an extra £10. Sent phone and after a few days received an 'inspection report' listing issues which were not on the phone and reduced the offer to £5! Went through a 'review' process which raised the offer to £20. I asked for the phone back. The inspection report is no longer available once you request return seems a little odd. Just been sent a return tracking number so will see if it arrives back as I sent it. Wouldn't recommend this company, all seems a little off.
