I sent my phone off over 6 weeks ago. I still havent received an offer. Everytime i email the customer services team they tell me to email the assist team who have my phone, every time i email them i get an automated response and then nothing! 30 emails since the 11th of september and still nowhere closer to an offer or the return of my phone, this is a scam do not use them

Very good. Fast payment and easy to communicate. I had an issue with my payment details but was resolved very efficiently

I saw gogreengadgets on facebook. Gave them a go and they initially quoted me £220 for my phone. I sent my phone on 4th october after they sent a text saying they’d give an additional £10 if sent today. So i did. I received a text on the 7th saying they had tested it and had sent a link to my email and they hadnt. I emailed them with an automated response saying theyd get back to me in 6 hours. When I didnt, was worried as saw loads of bad comments on fb and trust pilot. Only when i mentioned trading standards did i get a response. A quote for £150! Apparently due to damage to the phone. The phone was not damaged in anyway, it had been in a case and a screen protector for 2 years! I couldn't be arsed with getting them to send the phone back as they already wasted time after guaranteeing money on the same day they received the phone. So i accepted on Thursday and still nothing in my bank. I am highly disappointed with their service and would NOT recommend them. Wish id stuck with Mazuma mobile.

I sent my iPhone 15 Pro over two weeks ago. The phone was appraised and the value offered was 59% of the indicated trade-in value offered on the website. At this point you can decline to accept but ultimately there is no option for you to have your device returned. If you don’t want to accept, the website offers to review valuation, and they did offer an increase which was 83% of the indicated trade-in value provided in the website.

I reluctantly accepted this offer (I had no choice as there is no way to have your device returned), but over two weeks later I am still waiting on my payment. I have sent various emails, tried to reach them on socials, all without reply.

I don’t imagine that this is how they treat all devices sent in but this is my existence and therefore cannot recommend that you use this company.

Poor customer service and delayed payment – avoid GoGreenGadgets

I had a very frustrating experience selling my two phones to GoGreenGadgets, and I would not recommend them based on my experience.

I was initially offered £880, only for the offer to be reduced to £600 because the phones had over 500 battery charge cycles. The phones were already over two years old, so this felt like something that should have been taken into account when making the original offer. After a lot of back-and-forth and several different offers, they eventually increased the amount to £740, which I accepted.

The problems didn’t end there. When I asked how I would receive my payment, I was told someone would email me at 5 pm, despite their advertised closing time being 4:30 pm. This left me questioning the accuracy of the information I was being given.

Despite advertising same-day payment, I waited more than five working days to receive my money. I had to repeatedly chase them and spend far too much time trying to get the payment I was owed.

What I found particularly frustrating was that they initially offered £600 for both phones but somehow managed to find an additional £140 after further negotiation. This made the whole process feel unnecessarily drawn out and left me questioning how their offers are calculated in the first place.

Overall, the customer service was poor, communication was frustrating, and payment was nowhere near as quick as advertised. Selling my phones to GoGreenGadgets turned into far more hassle than it was worth. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want a straightforward process, clear communication and prompt payment.

Clear communication on pricing and payment

Easy to manage service with online form, delivery label and sending off package was simple process. What is unfortunate is the difference between gadget payment estimate and actual payment- seemed massively off and out of range for an item accurately described

Paid someone else and have refused to acknowledge and resolve it, even though a clear email trail showing they messed up.

This was after a week of chasing to try and get a payment for a reduced price before this.

No reply to emails or social media messages. Scam company, DO NOT IsE

Stolen phone. I sent my phone to them with an order number and a postal label they provided. The phone was delivered by royal mail and I have a notification and proof gogreen gadgets also collected the parcel. I have not been paid since (sent phone beginning of sept) they are not holding any accountability and are blaming royal mail. Do not trust this company. They keep ignoring my emails. Royal mail tracking number is ZS366203727GB

The company lost my device (even though I could see it was collected). And then they ignored my emails for weeks before they told me that they would report it as missing to Royal Mail. Fast forward 3 months and I finally got half the value of my device… and was made to feel like I should be grateful to receive anything… even though they have my device. Basically had to email daily to get any response. Think they thought I’d just forget and give up.
I’d used them once in the past a few years ago and had an OK experience but after this time, I would absolutely NOT recommend at all.

It was a fast turnaround payment after delivery

I wouldnt use this company again. Saw mixed reviews on here but decided to give the benefit of the doubt.
First of all, I sent my phone away which took 3 days for it to arrive with them (they claim 24 hour/next day service but my phone sat waiting to be collected by them).
Secondly, I was originally quoted £370 for my phone and upon receiving my phone they then said they would only offer £60 which I declined then they offered £75 which I declined and asked them to return the phone. They then offered £150 and again I declined and said I would accept no less than £250 and they came back with £240.
Finally I accepted the offer as above as I couldnt be bothered with the hassle of it being sent back but I am now over a week later and still without payment despite multiple emails to chase! Apparently I should hear from the finance team by 5pm on Tuesday and we are now 3 business days later with no payment!

Avoid!!

Have to say a lot of these 1 star reviews are pretty much spot on with the experience I had also.

Sent a phone in with the belief of getting around the ball park of £115 because it was faulty and I was totally aware of that they managed to drop it £75 because battery usage which is free to get replaced by apple and a little chip in the corner. Faulty says craxked screens etc was worth of £115 so not sure how they’ve justified £75 drop. Also they are vey quick to test the phone and constantly remind you to send it and ask but when it comes to payment you have to wait 6-7 days later? Not good enough and like the others i wont be using them again. Not worth the hassle

They have my phone but not recieved payment , have asked for the phone back but no reply. All i am
Reading is this company is a scam. Small claims court and trading standards if no payment by mid next week

Quick and Easy, second time using them and I’ve had no issues either times. Happy to use again!

Took a little time but all in all I had the money in 2 weeks , less than I expected but the phones were in a bad condition

Sent off and processed pretty quickly. Had a few hiccups along the way but once I reached out and emailed someone got back to me the same day.
