When I booked an appointment to have my glowworm boiler fixed, I was asked my name address and phone number.
I waited in all day, eventually calling them at 540pm to ask if the engineer was still coming. I was told that the engineer had gone to a different address and didn't have my mobile number! When I registered my boiler all the correct information was given then! So why didn't he call the office! This is my first time using this service and these boilers. I certainly would not recommend the after care ! No thought for correctly checking my information or contacting me so I don't waste a whole day !

We were recommended this boiler by our specialist who was fitting it for us, he said this was the best boiler for us as the right size for our needs and would fit well in the place we had to put it.

My boiler of 35 yrs was replaced recently. Although it had been well worth its cost, I was absolutely delighted to find how much easier and quickly responsive the replacement Glow-worm boiler has proved to be. The handheld control that can be used anywhere in my house is another plus. Also very pleased by removal of the now unnecessary tanks etc. Finally, have been told the new boiler will be cheaper to run than the old. All round good result.

We had a conventional boiler replaced by a glow worm combi. The boiler was fitted in the same place using the flue hole that already existed. The pipework was adjusted by the engineers with minimal fuss and all tanks removed. I've had a combi before and had forgotten how quiet, efficient and ease of use was. The glow worm is brilliant and can be controlled with a salus thermostatic display which has a very easy app so heating can be adjusted remotely. We are not technically minded but this boiler ticks all our boxes!

Relative is replacing an 8 year old Vaillant / Glow worm boiler. She recently moved into the property. Originally we tried calling Vaillant but there helpline is useless as they don't answer. New boiler is being fitted and engineer says one of the issues (poor ignition, stability and lack of heat) relates to original installation (by Glow worm recommended installers) as gas pressure is not sufficient and a wider gas pipe should have been added. This may have reduced life of the boiler. not only do Vaiillant (Glow worm engineers) not answer their helpline, they don't seem to be able to install their boilers properly or safely.
I contacted the previous property owner about the gas pipe issue and she said she had called out VAILLANT ENGINEERS in the guarantee period and they never siad anything about the gas pipe disaster.
I have never come across a Glow worm boiler before, clearly a BTEC / Mickey Mouse boiler as seems completely useless, given up ghost and only 8 years old. Pre-check before new install took place was today and our gas engineer re-iterated the poor previous install.

New boiler and flue fitted with no fuss, no mess and the guys doing it very helpful and happy to answer any questions l had. The boiler is easy to operate and practically noise free. Very happy customer indeed!
