Liverpool sky bar is terrible, the food is better at spoons

We visited your Leeds branch and had the most fantastic time. Megan Mantle was or server and she couldn't doire for us even if she tried. She was very attentive and told us what wasn't available as soon as we were given the menus. Although it was very busy we didn't feel rushed and sat in such comfort. We had a few drinks at the bar afterwards and the bar staff were equally as attentive as Meg. 10/10

It's a pizza. Not a vindaloo? Keep it basic and simple pizza..? I don't live in Bradford! Simple margarita 😀 why ?

Anyone vegan and looking for a place in Almeria that will do their best to cater for your dietary needs, look no further. We highly recommend Gino’s. Our charming waitress, Laura, was so patient with us as we described what we could eat, and she went back and forth between us and the kitchen chefs to ensure that we were completely satisfied. Laura was also incredibly friendly, which made our evening even more pleasant. Thank you!

Went to Ginos in Leeds today. It’s time I have been to the one on Boar Lane. The cocktails were good the starters were good but the lasagne which I always have at Ginos (the one that’s now Riva Blue) was not good. It was tasteless. When I asked the waiter about it as I I was expecting it to be the same recipe he dismissed it and said that at the old restaurant it was probably a microwave meal. If it was it was delicious and they need to use it too. Will certainly give it another try but not have lasagne

Visited Gino's Strand restaurant recently, lovely place, warm & inviting, not too pretentious and friendly service. Food was nice enough and its to be expected that it will be a little pricier than for your average Italian dining experience. My big issue was that a few minutes following declining the sweet menu we were provided without request or any intimation that there was a cost attached two glasses of Limoncello. It was placed in front of us and we duly consumed. On receipt of the bill the perceived complimentary Limoncello was over 20 pounds. I didn't dispute the bill as it was a special day for my partner and the Theatre awaited us. A bit naughty for what we hoped was to be a class dining experience.

Our first and last time at this restaurant. It is attached to the Marriot Hotel were we stayed. We arrived a little early for a 5.45pm booking to an almost empty restaurant. Greeted with a shrug of the shoulders by the maitre de with an off hand 'Oh you're early' aside. Seating us he gave us food and drink menus but omitted, probably deliberately, to give us the early evening menu. The server came to take an order for drinks and then told us that there were no prawns, no scallop and no sea bass. So that took off most of what we wanted to order. The starters came quickly enough but the drinks didn't arrive without a reminder to the server. A main course of simple pasta and a couple of glasses of wine result in a bill topping £60 even after !0% discount for being hotel guests. Snotty service, average Italin-ish food, just not worth the money.

My second visit to Gino’s on Newcastle’s Quayside and it was fabulous.
I cannot find fault with the restaurant, staff or food.
A little bit of luxury at an affordable price.

We visited this restaurant while staying at the hotel on site. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, as well as polite and welcoming. The food was fantastic, and the overall night was fabulous, and we will return again.

Avoid the Sky Bar in liverpool. They add a 10% service charge to all bills without giving the opportunity to decline.
Complained about this via 2 emails and one phone call with no response
They also Bring you more expensive drinks for repeat orders without asking!
Check your bills people or avoid altogether as liverpool Ginos got. 3.5 hygiene rating!
Get your act together Gino, this is not funny!

Omg - went to the Lucianos restaurant on the strand. Food was totally abysmal. Ordered the chilli and garlic prawns - disgusting - £31 too. Came with nothing else and still had the digestive bits in - poo bits. There was no one in the restaurant and they said we had to vacate the table and couldn’t have another drink. Worse Italian meal I’ve ever had anywhere 😖🫣

Great experience - will love to go again

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times, the first was really good, excellent food so I booked again this time for afternoon tea and was very disappointed with it. The savoury selection was very sparse and didn’t get offered tea/coffee. Definitely not worth the money

Had a great visit. Food and atmosphere was amazing.

Travelled to Newcastle to see our son at uni. Went to gino's restaurant at the Quay. What a fantastic time we had. The setting is superb. The bar staff were excellent and attentive to our needs. The restaurant was buzzing with a great atmosphere. The food was excellent my fillet steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were cooked beautifully and presented nicely. My wife's food was cooked to perfection and so was my son's. The wine service was excellent and the waiters recommended an excellent italian castelvecchio ( ended up having two bottles ) the sweets were brilliant and the cocktails later were a tribute to the bar staff. The next night we ate at a different italian restaurant. The food was good prices the same but not a patch on gino's. So the last night we ate again at gino's, very busy Friday night and the staff were just as attentive the food excellent again. Thanks to all the staff for the experience and the hangover will definitely be eating there again.

We had d a meal for 2 and paid 32 Euro...the meal was awful. In fact we left our food and went elsewhere to eat. My husband's burger was undercooked and when I asked for a side of frites I was served crisps. We tried on two occasions to explain that we wanted fries as advertised on their sign ouside but the waitress made us feel like we were stupid.The worst meal I have ever had and the most appalling service.As Irish tourists we presumed we would experience the hospitality we are accustomed to in Ireland but oh how wrong we were. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Went to London restaurant last week. Garlic prawns did not taste of garlic, carbonara bacon was both undercooked and burnt. Told waiter not interested, called manager who sorted it.

Bit underwhelmed, Nona would be spinning in her grace.

Perhaps Gordon can come and do a kitchen nightmare episode on gino’s restaraunts?
