I opted for a Mystery Hamper as the claim was they would curate one to suit the sentiment in the card attached, ‘trust us to make it special’ was their promise. I chose this as it was sent as a comfort gift for a bereavement and none of the standard hampers were quite suitable. What was sent was a standard hamper that I could have chosen myself from their menu. No thought was given to customise it and the delivery was botched up.
Upon reaching out to customer service they claimed a deluxe hamper was sent contradicting the image my recipient provided. To blatantly lie in their promise and then double down saying a more expensive and larger hamper was sent is unacceptable.

Didnt arrive can't contact a person just get automated responses .terrible service would never us again

Ordered a fruit basket that comes with tea and honey gift basket, (substituted with Plum block and chocolate pot, FYI the person it was for dont eat chocolate)
RECEIVED AN EMAIL AT 12:28 that they were substituted already and NOTIFICATION MESSAGE AT 12:01 that the delivery is out on the road, not happy that they didn't notified my first before the items are on the road for delivery and didn't gave me choices of what are available to substitute for me to choose from for the items that are not available. Not happy with this company. I have chosen a specific basket for someone. The substitutes items does not suit the person it was for, if your gift basket has unavailable items take it down and advertised basket with available items, I do not recommend this company, READ THE REVIEWS FIRST BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER.

I received a beautiful gift box. The packaging was elegant and the contents were fabulous. I could eat everything! Delicious good quality treats and even a cheeseboard and fancy knife. It was a wonderful gift and one of the best boxes I’ve been sent.

Very prompt delivery. Was delivered in Brisbane the day after it was ordered online from Melbourne. The recipient advised the delivered hamper of champagne, cheeses, fresh fruit and nibbles, was presented beautifully with all produce in lovely condition - and even included a chill-pack! Am very happy with Gift Basket. Definitely worth the price. Thanks heaps.

You book and pay for delivery it accepts the payment and then pushes out the delivery date

Disgusted with this company. I ordered a fruit basket for my daughter's best friends family as the father just passed away from cancer. I stated it was for sympathy and wrote a card to be included. It was meant to be delivered the next day. I then get a message to say they had sent the fruit basket by POST and it would be there 4 days later - I couldn't believe it. Who sends a fruit basket in the post??? I tried to email and ring the company with zero success. I have a message from Australia post to say its sitting in the post office in another suburb, they didn't even deliver it. I now have to collect this and see the condition of the fruit myself. I spent over $120 and will now need to buy something else to replace it. Shame on this cowboy of a company.

Damnnnn I wish I had’ve read these reviews before wasting my money. Requested a date for delivery because I was working from home that week. It arrived the week before, delivered in 32 degree heat, left outside all day. Had to throw away the cheese and chocolates.
3 items weren’t included in the hamper that were advertised as being a part of it.
Emailed them with zero response.
Don’t be fooled by the pictures they advertise with, they are VERY misleading.
Do not recommend ANYONE buy anything from this place unfortunately.

Terrible- do not order from Gift Basket Australia- 1 star is a stretching it. While I appreciated the customer service team following up my delayed order, I find it completely unexceptable that I ordered a product in good time and good faith to be delivered 2 days BEFORE Christmas so my family can enjoy it together without me as I live overseas, and it now won’t arrive until the 27 December 2 days AFTER Christmas when everyone has already left is just disgraceful. As the delivery note stated it was not handed over to the shipper until 24 December- 1 day AFTER IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED!!! I am lead to believe that the order was either forgotten or just not fulfilled on time, which in turn leads me to believe this is NOT a shipping error but you own error of not fulfilling the order on time. The measly shipping refund is just a pathetic deterrent from your inexcusable service.

Order delivered one day early. Why bother asking for requested delivery date? $100 worth of chocolate left to the mercy of sun and insects. Thanks for nothing

The order has been placed for my niece's birthday. It should have been sent to her home address. Nonetheless, I was unpleasantly surprised to discover that the present box was not delivered to her residence address, but rather left at the post office. It was weird considering the intended purpose of the order - a surprise for the birthday, rather than a regular package, and the fact that the box weighed approximately 5 kilograms, which was quite hefty for the young lady to carry. The surprise was spoiled.
I have not received any feedback from the company, and I don’t think I will refer to them again.

Ordered a hamper for delivery on Friday and now scheduled for Tuesday. Not good enough when you are able to pick a day and then they don’t advise you if there is a problem with that day. Messaged to offer 15% discount off next order but as I will never use again a total waste. Poor customer service and poor delivery. Not expecting the hamper to be of good quality now either.

I got them to do a fruit gift basket for my sister birthday I was very disappointed the fruit basket was not what they advertised the fruits was of bad quality second or third grade will not be given them my business again I emailed them and send them photos of the fruit basket not happy at all with there services

What a fantastic company to deal with!
I have had the best experience dealing with Gift Basket Australia. I was sent a gift basket and realised it didn't contain all the items. I contacted the company who very politely told me what items should have been included and would I check no other items were missing. Within a short time frame the missing items were sent to me as well as a chocolate hamper and a note apologizing for the missing items. I will certainly use Gift Basket Australia and also recommend them to friends.

I was on a cruise and chose Giftbasket as they promised “next day “ delivery and ordered a Xmas hamper on Dec 14, as the recipient was leaving for 5 weeks on Dec 22, I was happy they would have the opportunity to enjoy it before they left. I was notified it was out for delivery on Dec 18 and again on 19th advised it was available for collection at the local Post Office. I immediately emailed and reiterated my instructions “ if out, leave on table at the rear door” no response received. Finally on Dec 21st I called the recipient and they collected on 21st from the post office. They did not have the opportunity to enjoy and I was left feeling as though I had completely wasted my money. At no time did gift basket make any attempt to contact me or apologise. Extremely disappointed, definitely would not recommend.

Ordered a next gift basket and allowed over 10 days for packing and delivery. Product never showed up and is over 3 days late. No reply from their support team. Just over all poor value management

They are all care no responsibility. They arranged delivery early and therefore their delivery company could not get anyone to accept so they drop it to the local post office, so the person who I was surprising now has to go out of ther way to collect the basket - not happy at all

They don't deliver next day. Even when the basket is in the town on the tracking. And it was only going to the hospital. They recipient is out of the hospital now and didn't get the giftbasket. Terrible and misleading product.

Most appalling service and goods. Would never use again.
