I have recently been in touch with Customer Services which was due to no fault of their own! I have been blown away with how much they value their customers and how hard they worked to make sure that I was happy! Bone broth is also amazing!!!

I love all of their products and their customer service is amazing!

Wanna thank Freja for the amazing products. I am a middle-aged Chinese woman based in London, and due to some hormonal issues, I was advised to stop taking plant /whey protein powders (which I had used, for years, to make my morning protein shakes). As a 45yo woman who exercises regularly, when I first heard that advice, it honestly left me feeling a bit helpless as I have no idea how I could easily get my usual protein intake amidst my busy morning schedule. And that’s how I got to know about Freja bone broth :) Am currently using the instant bone broth - both beef and chicken. Absolutely love them! Am also using their bone broth protein powder and the collagen protein shake powder. Besides adding them into stews, soups or just simply with water, I had also recently used the instant bone broth powder to marinate meats. My husband loves that!

Once again, thank you for all the lovely products. Really good to know that there are healthy alternative to whey or plant-based supplements easily available for those who need them.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue consuming the Broths due to an allergic. But the products are very good and tasty. Their customer service is very efficient and as soon as I found out about my allergic provided me with information and issued the refund in less than 24 hrs. I recommended to a friend and she is loving it.

I was so happy to have found a clean, simple, high protein, low sugar powder to add to hot drinks the unflavoured bone broth shake was perfect… very neutral plus it blended so beautifully. Recently re-ordered and found the product has been changed so now has significantly lower protein and loads of sugar. I have to keep my protein high and carbs low, and the new formulation does not fit with this so I will have to find an alternative product which I am honestly gutted about. Please bring back the old version, I know I’m not alone in this! So disappointed!

There's been a great deal of press and adverts about Freya's various bone-broth products, and I always like to try out anything that generally is highly regarded, as well as is supposed to have beneficial health properties as well.
I've see many opportunities to commit online to a purchase from this well-respected Norwegian company, but I'm not paying around £40 or so to try a selection of items, if I ultimately don't like them.
A limited range is, however, available in Tesco, so, when I was last in our local store, I bought two 500ml cartons of their Beef, and Chicken Broths respectively, which set me back around £10 with a Clubcard, I recall.
However, the packet suggested that, drinking it as a plain cup-a-soup, 500ml would make 3 cups, pushing it, or more generously 2 'Bachelors' soup-mugs I've had for years.
I proceeded to warm up a cup-full I'd poured from the Chicken Broth, and which I'd just opened, so it was well within its sell-by date, and perfectly fresh.
I sat back to enjoy what I was expecting to find was a delicious and tasty chicken clear soup, even if I did expect the colour of the liquid to look more like chicken - i.e. yellower in colour - than what was actually in the cup, and which had more of a 'beefy' shade (yes, I did check which one I'd opened!)
Talk about anti-climax and immense disappointment! I normally have no issues with taste, but, if I were to shut my eyes, I would honestly not know what I was drinking. It was virtually like hot water, with no specific taste whatsoever. If it did have a flavour when it set out from Norway, it felt like someone had spiked the carton by diluting it at least 10 times, so it tasted more like the water under the tap, when I've rinsed out a cup of packet soup - at least 4 in a pack, for at least half the price!
I think I would have better enjoyed a chicken bouillon cube for a fraction of the money, which could be found on an adjacent display-shelf in the store!
Hence my 1-star review and review title, I'm afraid!

I have now had a response from Freya Foods, the main gist of which is:

"We understand your reaction - our Classic Bone Broths are quite subtle, made for gentle nourishment rather than a bold soup-style flavour. A pinch of sea salt or herbs can really help bring out the depth."

I have tried a second cup, where I have added a number of my own complementary flavouring and spices, as recommended.

Admittedly I can now detect 'some' flavour, but it is ONLY that of the various herbs and salt. However, I still tasted nothing to suggest that I was drinking Freja BONE BROTH Chicken.

If I copy what is written on the packed, it says:

'Nourish yourself with our award-winning Chicken Bone Broth, made with high quality ingredients for a natural and delicious broth that's brimming with flavour and nutrition'.

Now, if I take this literally, there should be NO need to add extra the sea salt or herbs, given that it's 'brimming with flavour and nutrition' already!

You can't write 'brimming', but then acknowledge that it still needs additional flavouring from two or so external source - and then charge some £5 for just over 2 cup-fulls!

I really think this is worth me running all this past the Trade Descriptions (Place of Production( (Making) Order 1988, for an opinion on the validity of what it says on the packaging, when contrasted and compared with what you said in your initial response below. I shall attend to this shortly

Just discovered Freja foods.
Chicken bone broth and the beef bone broth instant have been a godsend for work breaks.
Fill you up and are helping me to lose weight.
I am now being able to achieve 16 hr + fasting.
Bonus is feeling Great.

Have just ordered from here for the first time, I ordered the starter bundle. Beautiful packaging and delivered so quickly. Love the free mug too! Have just tried the beef bone broth, very nice and full of flavour, the smell woke our dog up so shes had a little of it too over her dog food and licked the bowl clean! I was drawn to Freja because of the Nordic attitude towards producing food. Their normal food products are a quality that we would most often label organic. This is so important to me as with so many other customers as I have a very serious auto immune disease. So what I ingest matters. Now I need to praise their customer service. It is outstanding. They clearly value their customers and the importance of serving the customer as well as providing a top quality product matters to them….a lot. So yay to Freja for forcing on both the product and the customer.

I loved their unflavoured bone broth shake, until I’ve found that recently, when I went to purchase more that they’ve changed the recipe! Why change something that doesn’t need to be changed because now, with the added coconut sugar, it isn’t neutral anymore! And with considerably less collagen & protein. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Please change it back!

**in response to Freja’s reply, I did try what was recommended & it was terrible, not the same at all, didn’t mix as well as the original bone broth shake & so, they gave me a refund.

If broth is as good as company service they fully deserve their ratings! I had to change delivery address after ordering for my daughter and even though it was already en route they arranged the change with carrier.

This is a great product.
The quality is superb at a reasonable price and the customer service is excellent. We are in our 70s and add bone broth for health to just about anything! Tastes delicious and doing us good.

Wonderful products and really good customer service. Would have taken a star off due to having a small problem with a subscription once, but the customer service was so good I felt that they earned it back.
