A FEW Months ago, in last quarter of 2024, YOU Fredrickedwardsassociates.com was promised to Me that YOU are going to assist Me for possible TAX REFUND, and I AM waiting for your confirmation after given the documents you needed, then SUDDENLY, YOU are disappear, without any messages Why and What happened with respect to my CLAIM..Yet suddenly, you are summoned ME thru email that I HAVE to pay more than 100GBP for declining our deal.??for the FIRST PLACE, to let YOU know that BY NOT CONTACTING you client for MORETHAN A MONTH, it's already a VIOLATION to Dis-regard the agreement between YOU and ME..and I WAS asking for the HELP of Fredrickedwardsassociates website customer service, and they told Me that they don't have any outstanding names know my NAME in their data with regard to the TAX REFUND...Can YOU STOP your WRONG DOING pleasee!!!!

Never signed a contract with these. They haven't written to me or provided proof of contract. Without this they can text as much as they like. But they will get nowhere without a signed contract.
Legally they don't have a leg to stand on.
Debt collection agencies won't buy debts with no proof of contract.

This company is hounding my father for a bill which he has no idea what's its for. They have now said they are taking him to court, he's 78 years old with the start of dementia, and he has always been a law abiding citizen, so to receive correspondence of this kind has really upset him. They will reply with something along the lines of I'm not on their database or I am not their client, well thank god I'm not either, and everyone else, stay away and don't get involved, very bad news.

Received an email saying I owe Federrick Edwards £210 for acting on my behalf to claim tax back from working through covid! I never asked them to ,it's states no win no fee I've never received any money
Deleted all emails as felt it was a scam .
Threatening me with collection agency I'm at my wits end I can't afford this .

Having read a reply from the company I will wait for evidence that I asked them to continue with a claim after they did a search as to whether I was owed money or not, did I sign any thing? If they couldn't reach me why not call or write? I must of filled something out yes but it says no win no fee and if I'd not given permission to continue then why did they ? Yes I've asked for a call as I spoke to reception to be put through but no joy plus asked at the time what kind of company you were but they wouldn't comment .
Also I've mentioned nothing in my review stating I worked from home ! Only you would of known that from my application for you took into a claim and as you've said in your reply you don't do that sort of claim so why on earth would I have an account with you ?

After emails have passed between us ,all was explained and I now know what has happened so all sorted by a nice chap called Andy .
They don't normally do this via email but very kindly did for me as I have a brain condition which can make me forget at times .
All resolved now thankfully

Fredrick Edwards Ltd have offered no evidence that my vulnerable sister signed any agreement other than a disputed computer generated contract that has been signed by someone else, presumably an FE fraudster? She does not even have a smart phone let alone a computer so the contract would have to be signed on a hard copy. So this is fraud? FEltd then instructed their sister company Judges Demand who made all sorts of threats and could not offer evidence either now Lawton Hathaway have started demanding monies with menace to the tune of £378. This harassment started in 2021, nearly 4 years ago.

Absolutely disgusting bunch of thieves and con merchants desolve the so called company and stop ripping people off they did no work. I didn't want them to proceed but they kept hounding me for payment for something they hadn't done then threatening letter to take me to court or face the bailiffs they are the most diabolical company out there and I urge people to stay well clear of them unless they want to be ripped off as well

Today I reported Fredrick Edwards, it's sister company Judges Demand and Lawton Hathaway, to Action Fraud, I would advise that anyone else who has fallen victim to their scam or who is experiencing harassment by use of aggressive practices as I was, do the same as the reports are forwarded to the National fraud intelligence bureau and it can lead to the companies involved being investigated.

This company has been hounding us for money yet we have not asked them to do anything we are now being threatened with a collation company. They told us we could claim we didn't, and now they want money for doing nothing

I strongly advise avoiding this at all costs.

Customer service agents who simply read off a script are unacceptable. I am currently disputing the lack of communication regarding an invoice. I recorded my second call because the first call was a complete disaster. An automated system sends emails, but the company has no method to confirm that they have been sent. I have not received the email and specifically requested that the call handler stay on the line until I received it. However, he hung up, just like the agent from the second call. This level of service is simply not satisfactory.

I have been threatened with court action over an invoice I am yet to see.

I am writing to provide an update on my previous review.

I have located the invoices, which were mistakenly sent to the wrong email address. I wasted two hours sifting through an old spam-filled inbox to find them.

Additionally, I want to highlight that I paid this company £240 in February 2023. This payment was for the case which instigated a cold call leading to this situation; my information was used from their database to upsell.

This was supposedly to retrieve tax back from an amount I had originally received from HMRC. I made it very clear to the caller that I did not believe the service was worth it, yet he insisted. I would like that call to be reviewed, as I said no many times and relented to simply to end the conversation. Ultimately, I was charged £94, and now I am left dealing with the fallout of further charges due to communication being mishandled and sent to the wrong email address. This situation is unacceptable, and will happen to you if you use this service.

Further update. Frederick Edward Ltd has rhe same companies house address as Fredrick Edward Associates - they are one of the same.

I have an email from you legal department reviewing my complaint.

I can see from your response, that rhe media department has been trained to deflect, deceive and pass blame just the same as the call handlers. I've recorded all calls.

The number provided was an invoice number along with my name.

This is the case number which is the same in all invoices FEA028252

Further update:
The address on your website matches thenone registered with companies house and the one on my invoice. The only variance is you are also trading under the name Frederick Edwards Associates. However, all contact information remains the same.

I would be more than willing to email a copy of the invoice and a screenshot of your website & registered information.

WORST company ever! Lady called Lyn at the front desk is rude, unhelpful, abrupt and very patronising!
This company scams money out of people and refuse to help or answer specific questions. They are vile please please DO NOT have anything to do with them! They are demanding money from me when they received NO payout for me whatsoever..they should be shut down. Vile

The countless amount of complaints and negative reviews your company has had...oh AND Lynn, they MUST all be lying?!
For anyone contemplating signing up to this cowboy firm you don't even have to look at their clients responses.....read THEIRS! Very unprofessional and concerning for a company surely??
Rather than take on board clients points of views they want to argue and lie in their replies. Instead of satisfying the urge to argue with members of the public on a public forum why not put that effort into responding appropriately when asked???
Goldman Knightly solicitors are the company who actually received the payout not yourselves, so they have been paid accordingly. They have been so professional and kind so I URGE everyone to use them and AVOID frederick Edwards at all costs!!!

F E could get tax back on a 2018 ppi payment for me, I heard nothing for at least 18months, then told I was to produce or obtain a ppi settlement letter, which turned out to be impossible after being passed from piller to post by numerous Indian call centres for HSBC and even a local branch! In the meantime a cancellation fee for not responding to a F E letter rose from £70 to now £200+ pound and I'm informed it's now passed to a collection agency, because I've took too long chasing their request!

So, I spoke with Lynn regarding, working from home home, during the pandemic.
When I received information that I was not entitled to any monies back, apparently I had received this via my wages, within the tax code??
Which I was unaware about, the HMRC don’t tell you this.
I was informed that my invoice would be £72!!
I wanted to pay via a payment plan, which was arranged.
I paid the first payment, no email received, saying the first payment had been received.
Then I received an email from the Head of Operations Andy Dowden, my invoice needed to be paid, as after 14 days the invoice needed to be paid.

So contradictory!!!!

So Andy Dowden, well done for scare mongering, it’s obvious I needed to ring, regarding your email, as it says,
“urgent action required, please don’t ignore this email “
I have just spoken with Stacey and she said, I don’t have to do anything??

Just received a demand today for £378? Apparently for an instruction I am supposed to have gave for a tax refund, which I have no knowledge of?
So phoned the number on letter and was then being asked for lots of personal data, which was not prepared to give as thought it was a scam?
Then checked my email and phone records and can find no contact from Frederick Edward’s Ltd, other than letter received today?
If they are legitimate? why is nearly every review so critical and negative, that speaks volumes about the type of business they are, I certainly won’t be bullied into paying invoices for supposed services I have no knowledge of?

I also would give 0 stars if I could. A complete scam. Trying to bamboozle innocent people into handing over their money. I will be ignoring them and their letters. I took a phone call about 3 years ago and they said I was owed money from a credit card over payment many years before. They took my signature then sold it to another company who tried to bind me by their terms and conditions. Absolutely shocking. Ignore ignore ignore

This is a scam and Frederick Edwards should be shut down at once. Thry claim to be able to get back overpayment in tax but charge and chase you extortionatly for their services, they are crooks and villains avoid at all costs.

Asking for documents from years ago, then put the onus on you to provide them and unless you do it urgently you're getting a bill. Phone calls with them are difficult, they speak to you like you're an idiot and the mantra seems to be 'apply pressure' at all times. I gave 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Avoid at all costs.
