Looking for investment can be very disheartening especially when you just hear nothing back, Found capital although we weren't successful kept us in loop and provided us with essential feedback which in all honesty most just don't bother, so well done guys !!

Found through LinkedIn through one of our VCs and got talking to. An interesting model as it’s all done online / automation / algorithms etc and they feedback clearly and openly on process and ideas with the good and bad. Smallish cheques and open debate over whether it’s better to get to know founders and ideas in depth / f2f etc but I like their model and open and friendly guys.

In a world renowned for being a black hole, it's been very refreshing submitting our startup pitch deck to Found Capital for review.

We submitted online and received a quick confirmation that it had been received which included an overview of next steps. Despite it being the end of year holiday period, Laurence kept us updated on the status. When we did receive the feedback it was specific and actionable. I even replied to provide some additional context and received a very helpful response.

We didn't progress to the next step, but we got the respect and feedback that every startup founder wants and needs. There are a LOT of VCs and funds that could learn from their approach.

The startup world moves fast and companies iterate and pivot, just because our business isn't right for VC investment now, when we are successful I know who I'll be answering emails from, and who not.

It was a pleasure exploring alignmemt with Laurence and found capital. Their time and attention to detail give us a great sense of how our business is positioned, and with an additional few milestones hit, taking on board their guidance where primed for success in 2025. As a first time fundraiser, the experience with Found Capital was very good. It wasn't the right fit for them, but there was good communication throughout and feedback on the business and deck despite not moving forward with it

I reached out to Laurence on LinkedIn after i'd seen his post summing up 2024 and after i'd read very good reviews about how Found Capital operate. Sure enough Found Capital have a nicely defined process to assess opportunities in a relatively short period of time. They also give clear feedback +ve's and -ve's so you have some real context rather than the usual "its too early for us" etc. Overall a good, quick and honest experience with clear feedback on your +ve's and the key things to work on!

Approached the Found team after Laurence reached out on LinkedIn. The experience, from the simple form structure, through to the actual feedback to our application (yes, FEEDBACK, from a real person!) was fantastic. I wish Laurence and Found all the best - a refreshing approach to the industry.

Were very helpful in structuring the whole process with speedy response times. Application to assessment was rapid. Feedback great at every stage.

The application process was slick and easy and communication was clear and prompt throughout. We didn't get investment but I appreciate the team's honest, polite and detailed feedback which is useful to us. We got meaningful advice too! (Though I'm not promising that they'll do that for every application).

I found this process relatively light touch compared to some other platforms and syndicates, and Laurence was quick to respond both on email and Linkedin throughout.

Did I get the outcome I wanted, no.......
But I felt the experience was a positive.
Good feedback and support, and this was fair and reasonable feedback - and this will hopefully also mean the door is open in future.

I wish all VCs and similar syndicates worked this openly!
