I no longer take Omeprazole which I'd been on since a heart bypass in 1998 - although I had queried that Prescription many times with my Doctor. So glad I'm off that medication.

Be nice if you could actually ever get the product
So far it seems like a real farce. Ordered my 2 bags on Monday, and on receiving the order confirmation, kindly told that they are operating on pre-order and these will start rolling out in February. Well this was February, and a week later, still no sign of the tracking code from Royal mail, despite them saying "we have managed to make your order a priority".
I have no issue with pre-order per se but firstly, don't take the money upfront then. Focal are quick enough to charge your card. If it is on Pre-order then take the money when the order is actually ready. Secondly, actually make it clear that it is pre-order at the moment. On the website, it does say Pre-order, but directly underneath it, it says 1-3 Day delivery, so which is it?
They also send a whole load of gibberish, saying thank you for your patience, and how they are working to improve the experience, you'll be able to order up to 9pm, none of which is true. You can't even get a delivery a week after you have ordered.
If the bags actually ever arrive, I don't think I would bother with continuing, as this company obviously cannot get their act together and even get deliveries out on time.

To clarify the timeline, your initial order was placed on Monday this week. Pre-orders placed at the end of January have been dispatching across early February, with earlier orders going out first. Orders are fulfilled in sequence to ensure fairness for everyone waiting.
Throughout the recent pre-order period, we worked hard to communicate clearly. As you mentioned, the website, cart and checkout all stated 'pre-order', and we also sent detailed email updates to explain the situation and keep customers informed of progress. We’re therefore surprised to hear our updates described as “gibberish”, as they were intended to provide transparency during an unusually high-demand period.
In your case, we chose to push your order through for early dispatch using stock retained for active subscriptions as a gesture of goodwill. This was confirmed to you at 16:44 (past our current cut-off), and so your order is going out alongside todays shipments.
Regarding operations, when we are not in a pre-order phase we dispatch all orders placed before 12pm the same day. The move to a 9pm cut-off and weekend operations is a genuine operational upgrade currently being implemented to improve speed even further - not something said lightly.
We completely understand that waiting for a health product is frustrating. That’s exactly why we prioritised your order. We’re confident the improvements now in place will ensure this situation isn’t repeated.

Game changer
I’ve struggled a lot with my tummy over the last few years. Doctors just try to throw drugs at it rather than find the route of the problem. I’m pretty sure it was an ulcer. After being on Omeprazole and having side effects with that I decided to try focul. Although it tastes a bit grim, it’s the only thing that seems to settle my issues which get better and better the more I take it. The acid reflux has massively subsided. I’ve found mixing with blackcurrant squash helps take the bitterness out. So glad I tried it although wouldn’t mind it being a bit cheaper 😉

I’m only 2 weeks in…
I’m only 2 weeks in but have noticed a difference already. I’m off my PPI and I’ve got no acid, stomach pains or bloating. I am taking this at the side of a clean diet so I think the combination of both have helped.

What you’re noticing is simply the minerals and botanicals, which we keep as close to their natural form as possible. When they’re introduced to very cold water, some temporary binding can happen, which can look like small 'bits', but these eventually breakdown and dissolve after a few minutes.
A handy tip is to mix it first into a small amount of room-temperature water, give it a good stir, then top up with fridge-cold water if you prefer it chilled. That usually allows everything to dissolve more smoothly and quickly. Alternatively, a small hand whisk also works well 😊

A good start ….
I’ve been taking focal every morning before breakfast along with drinking at least 1.5l of water daily (as well as other drinks through the day). I’m feeling less bloated, go regular and easier and seem in a better place overall. Haven’t stopped my ppi’s yet but will look to cut down over the next few weeks. So far so good.

This has been a game changer for me
Focul has made a tremendous difference to my gut and digestion .
I have been on PPIs for over 20 years , I no longer take them or any other medication for my heartburn or digestion issues .. simply because I no longer have any issues with my gut or digestion.
It’s easy to take ( I make mine with hot water like a herbal tea )
It tastes and smells lovely. I would highly recommend Focul .

Military grade protection
I bought this focul powder expecting mild digestive support. What I got instead was a level of gastrointestinal discipline usually reserved for elite military units. My IBS, once a chaotic force of nature, now behaves like it’s signed a strict contract with HR.

Tastes awful but may be helping!
EDIT: After a few days I feel that my dyspepsia and reflux are improving. Unfortunately, it tastes like floor cleaner smells and loaded with artificial sweetener (which I am know is not the case). You can see the response below but the pungent strawberry flavour makes me gag. I can only get it down with a lot of water, having a chaser like kefir to hand to cleanse my mouth!

We appreciate that taste preferences vary. While some enjoy the flavour profile, others may find it more challenging. It isn’t artificial or a bad batch, but comes from the natural minerals and botanical extracts, which can have a strong aroma and taste on their own. We only use a very small amount of natural stevia to balance this, with no artificial sweeteners or flavourings.
At the moment we don’t offer an unscented or unflavoured version, but it’s something we’re actively exploring as we continue developing the range. In the meantime, many customers find the taste improves significantly when mixed into a larger volume of liquid (at least 300ml), or when added to milk, smoothies or yoghurt rather than water alone.
We appreciate the honest feedback and hope you’re able to see how the product works for you over time while finding the approach that suits you best. Feel free to reach out anytime and the team will be more than happy to assist.

It’s early days but already showing signs of improvement
I have a hiatus hernia and suffer really badly with acid reflux. I prefer natural treatments and have been taking Focul for a couple of weeks. Within a couple of days my stomach bloating has gone. After a couple of weeks the heart burn is much better and I am reducing my dependence on antacids. The other bonus is that I sleep much better. I have always maintained that because of the imbalance in my digestion it disturbs my sleep. My mood is better and that is the gut brain connection in action. I have high hopes that with time I can stop taking antacids.

Not easy to dissolve in liquid so you end up swallowing dry powder, which tastes terrible. Don't know whether it works 'cos it's now binned.
In answer to the answer, I gave it 5 attempts to dissolve in water which was at room temperature. The same happened with almond milk. It doesn't really matter because the mixed berry flavour is AWFUL.

Sorry to hear you didn’t get on well with the product - that’s disappointing to hear.
Solubility can vary from household to household, particularly depending on the temperature of the liquid used. If the liquid is ice-cold, the essential minerals can temporarily bind, which can make it appear as though the powder isn’t dissolving properly. Mixing thoroughly and allowing it a little time to fully dissolve before drinking usually prevents this.
We keep the minerals as close to their natural form as possible, which is why this can sometimes occur when they’re first introduced to very cold temperatures.
It’s a shame to hear the product was binned - we’d have really liked the opportunity to offer some guidance, which may have helped you get the most out of it.
