Avoid at all costs. Didn’t deliver the flowers I ordered at all. Didn’t respond to emails. The intended recipient (as I’m in the Uk) tried multiple times to contact them via phone and no one ever picked up. Awful company. Ended up having to contact my credit card company who put a hold on the payment . Company then tried to offer a store credit, pointless as I won’t be using them again

Save yourself embarrassment. Don't order from this company. I'm appalled by how horrible these flowers were. Totally misrepresented. I wish I had read reviews, but I was blinded by grief and wanted to order flowers to arrive quickly for my daughter and 3 year-old granddaughter (who had just lost her Daddy). I wrote a heartfelt and thoughtful message which was sent on the back of a coupon!!! Sympathy flowers called "Beautiful in Blue", came in a box, no vase, wrapped in gawdy red tissue paper and a lavender ribbon. DON'T BUY from here!! You can do 100% better by buying from a grocery store florist dept.

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an order to be delivered same day. Received an email that it couldn’t be delivered same day and would be delivered the following day. I responded promptly with the request to cancel and the company still moved forward with sending the order to transit status.
I called in and spoke to an extremely unhelpful call centre agent. I advised I sent the email within an hour. I’d pay a cancellation fee just wanted it to be cancelled.
She just kept saying she couldn’t cancel it because it was already in transit.
I asked if it would be delivered same day or the next and she advised the next day. I again asked why it couldn’t be cancelled if it’s due for delivery tomorrow she said it is already loaded and in transit. Offered to give me $20 store credit.
I turned that down and hung up. I will NEVER order through this company again. What a joke!

I ordered from florist.ca on March 5 for March 7 birthday. They didn’t tell me until March 7 that they would not be delivering until March 10!! Because Nanaimo was outside of their normal delivery area and they had to use an overnight courier which don’t work weekends. They say if you order by 1pm you can get same day delivery! The flowers were not as ordered either. They showed them in a vase but delivered in a box with no vase. I chose orange roses and they substituted red. I give two stars instead of one because my daughter still thought they were beautiful so I’m grateful for that. Do not use them if you’re on vancouver island.

Florist.ca completely ruined my Valentine’s Day, and I would never order from them again.
I placed an order for a dozen roses specifically scheduled for delivery between 7–9 a.m. so they’d be waiting first thing in the morning, and that window was clearly confirmed at checkout. Instead, the flowers didn’t show up until almost 10 p.m., long after the day was effectively over and any surprise was pointless. This wasn’t just “a bit late”; it was a total failure to deliver on the time frame that I paid for and that they advertised as part of their “reliable” service.
When the roses finally arrived, they looked like an afterthought someone grabbed from the clearance bin. I had paid extra for the largest size option, but what I received looked small, sparse, and nothing like the generous dozen that was pictured on the site. The blooms were already wilting on arrival, the petals were sad and droopy, and the overall bouquet had zero “wow” factor—certainly not what you expect when you’re spending close to 150 dollars. For that price, I could have walked into a local florist on Valentine’s Day and done far better, with fresher flowers and an actual sense of care.
It got worse: the order showed up with no vase, even though the product photos and description led me to believe it would be presented properly, and the message card I wrote—the entire emotional point of the gift—was completely missing. So not only were the flowers late and tired-looking, but there was absolutely nothing attached to indicate they were from me or to convey the message I carefully wrote when ordering. It felt lazy, careless, and borderline deceptive given what was shown and promised online.
All of this cost me almost 150 dollars for what was supposed to be a simple, classic Valentine’s gesture: a dozen roses, on time, in decent condition, with a card. Instead, I got a full day of stress, a partner who waited all day for something that never came, and a last-minute, wilted bouquet that showed up when the day was already over. Based on my experience, plus the large number of similar complaints from other customers about late deliveries, poor quality, and missing items, Florist.ca feels like a company that overpromises, underdelivers, and hides behind glossy website marketing.
If you care about your occasion, your recipient, or your money, avoid Florist.ca and go with a reputable local florist instead.

I spent an extra $20 for same day delivery and then 7 hours later I finally called them and they said they wouldn’t be able to deliver for two more days and then went I asked for a refund they said they would but then an hour later I still haven’t gotten a refund and they won’t refund it fully since it wasn’t within the hour which is incredibly stupid.

I ordered a same-day delivery for my sister-in-law who had an accident and was in-hospital. I paid a premium for a same day delivery on a Friday. Later on that day I received an email advising that they didn't deliver on the weekend, although their site allowed me to select Friday as the delivery day! Instead, they said it was rescheduled for TUESDAY which was useless as my SIL would have left by then. I contacted them and requested the order be canceled. I was told I could deliver it to an alternate address or get a store credit. For an item that was never received! I contacted my bank and disputed the charge. Do no order from this company.

I ordered flowers to deliver to my mother for mothers day last year, May 2025. My mom lives in Chapleau, Ontario, a reserves area, small town. So when i was notified the order will not make it on mother’s day, i wasnt mad, knowing my mom lives far and her packages are mostly delayed. However i ordered Amethyst bouquet and my mom received a dozen of white wild flowers like the ones you can pick up from the side of the roads, and they were White! My mom send me a picture and asked what i mean by sending her white flowers they look like its for her funeral. I was embarrassed and disappointed and beyond upset.

Awful experience! Flowers arrived 2 days late and came completely dead and dry-looking. I also specifically requested that they be delivered to the back door of the house where the tenant lives, and they were delivered to the landlord at the front.
The worst part of it to me was how the flowers looked.
Stick with a local florist, even if it costs an extra $20 it is worth it and you are supporting local, with reliability!

I placed an order through florist.ca over the weekend and paid for same day delivery. Later on I attempted to check the status and was told same day delivery was not possible. Due to the fact that I knew the individual wouldn't be at that address and delivery wouldn't be an option beyond that date, I requested a refund. I ended up having to call back multiple times due to agents hanging up, being downright ignorant and unprofessional and was told there wasn't any management available on weekends. Some calls even resulted in pickup/hangups.
Upon further inquiry I was told that the refund had been requested and one agent who was actually quite decent at listening to my concerns informed me despite the fact that I specifically asked about a refund to my bank being applied they had only submitted thus far for a store credit. Normally this would be an adequate solution, however; due to the conduct of various representatives from the company I had zero desire to give them my business. The conduct and consumer service skills displayed by the majority of the representatives I've dealt with is sadly lacking. I've now been attempting to speak with management for 2 days and have been placed on hold and left there for over 20 mins followed by a disconnect or flat told they'd reach out to me with 24 hours (which has well passed now and still no attempt)
I am thoroughly aggravated and frustrated by the way things have been handled this far. I'm by nature a quite reasonable and understanding individual however; when one is treated in the manner I have been throughout the process, they tend to get a little pissed off.
The way it's been handled to this point is downright unprofessional and I would even go so far as to say borders on illegal.
I've went so far as to specify that ok the refund is not for store credit but funds returned to my account and told that would happen , yet no correspondence happens within the timeframe they give.
No business should be allowed to operate in such a fashion and I truly wish some sort of class action could be taken at this point as I stumbled upon many who have had similar issues once I started diving deeper into things. Maybe if they were held legally accountable and responsible for their conduct they'd either be shut down or treat people in a courteous and legal manner the way all businesses should.

I paid extra for same-day delivery, only to be advised a few hours later that the delivery would actually be pushed back by two days. That completely defeated the purpose of the order, as the flowers were meant for someone in the hospital. I immediately cancelled the order and sent multiple cancellation requests via text, email, and phone. I received no response whatsoever.
Despite my clear cancellation attempts, the flowers were still sent to the hospital — after the recipient had already been discharged. To make matters worse, once the order was finally picked up, it was incorrect.
The lack of communication, failure to honor same-day delivery, ignoring cancellation requests, and delivering the wrong arrangement is completely unacceptable. This experience was frustrating and stressful during an already difficult time.

Terrible service. Placed an order for same day delivery (extra charge), was told 2 hours later they would not deliver for 3 days. It was too late in the day at this point for me to arrange alternate delivery for the recipient. I cancelled my order instead and was told I would have a refund on the Monday following. After a week, no refund came through. Spoke to a representative and was told they had issued a store credit - I do not want a credit I want my money back and had already been told previously I would receive it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied. Still waiting on my refund. Do not shop here.

No option for 0 stars. Placed an order last monday to be delivered sunday. Sunday came and went. I couldn't contact anyone Sunday. On Monday, I got on a live chat and was told "unfortunately this will be delivered tuesday with an upgrade".
OK, so it got delivered Tuesday (2 days late), but fewer items than described. It was a gourmet chocolate basket, expected 9 items (plus upgrade)... got 8 items that I could have found at Dollarama. I paid $100 with delivery.
