They did 2 jobs for us - front porch and flat roof over the extension. Both were done quick and to standard, there were some lack of communication between the fitters and materials delivery, but we got there in the end.
Problems started when we've noticed that the roof over the porch, which was the first job they did for us is sloped the opposite way - every time when it was raining the water instead of going right in the gutter created a little water tank on the other side of the roof. unfortunately we've noticed that, when we had second job booked already. We let the company know, they said that the fitters will correct the issue same time as the do the second job. They came, fitted the extension roof, "fixed" the issue and they dissapeared. The water was still pooling as it was before, I've tried to call them at least 40 - 50 times, everytime I've heard the same thing - somebody will call me back, and of course nobody did.
Finally after months(!) I've been contacted by one of their salesman; he pushed the case further to a guy named Kyle Porter, who apparently rejoined the company not so long ago and took the service department on a shorter leash. Suddenly it became possible to send a service fitter and get the roof refitter the correct way within a few days, and everything was quite polite, without any need to reach for heavier guns, like ombudsman, Trading Standards or Citizen Advice.
So maybe there is a chance for the company if they gonna have more people like Kyle.

Had such an amazing experience having our conservatory roof completed by these guys. The lads were really pleasant and hard working. I was in receipt of regular communications from the management team to make for any questions that I had and to make sure that I was happy with the work that was being done. That doesn’t normally happen in this industry so to receive this was actually quite special.

Another point to make about how helpful the lads were, one of our existing doors and window was catching slightly and they even took the time and effort to adjust it for me. This wasn’t even anything to do with them. One of the main reasons I wanted to write a review as I felt they went above and beyond for me. They really made me feel like a special customer.

We’ve been that happy with the work, they are now scheduled in for more transformation and I’ve been really pleased with how they’ve been able to cater for specific needs and requirements. A+++ would highly recommend and will definitely consider in all future work, they will get the first call from me. Thanks

We had Three windows in dark wood grain fitted approx 2/3 years ago and are very happy with them.
Happy exiting customer and have ordered a new door 19/06/25.

Company has been very professional from first point of contact and up to placing an order.
Company representative has not pressured us, explained everything clearly and all questions were answered.

Where do I start, over 18 months this company have done nothing but lie, fobbed us off, make false promises and ignore us. We had our door fitted and was left with damage to our home and a poor fit. We complained about the issues straight away and was ignored for over 9 months, we eventually got the ombudsman involved which then made them finally "help" us. They came and refitted the door causing even more damage and an even worse fit. We had an independent surveyor come out who confirmed the door was not fitted as it should be. First Choice said they would come and do a 3rd fit to which we eventually declined and asked for our full refund. After weeks of back and forth with the company they finally issued us a full refund for the door and compensation for damages!(THANKS TO THE OMBUDSMAN)
All i can say is avoid this company, we've since had our new front door and back door fitted by DW windows and can't recommend them enough.
Also, after looking at some of the reviews on here I've noticed a couple of the 5 star reviews have been added by their office staff if that doesn't scream red flag I don't know what does.

I had a slight problem with my front door which was fitted four years ago by First Choice.
The maintenance engineer, Jade Downs arrived on time, in fact a little early, he went far beyond what he needed to do and made the door perfect.
Jade was friendly, polite and a great guy to chat to. Highly recommend this company. Great service.

Gets Employers To Write Reviews To Cover Up There Bullshit & Scamming Activity Non Stop Ringing Off your phone & Banging off your door pestering you for money & Ignore Calls if there’s any Fault With the Products Awful Experience never again sorry

I am sick and tired of this company calling me, I have blocked multiple numbers and asked that they remove my details from their system and yet I still get a call today. It could be the last company in a 400-mile radius offering their services and I still wouldn't use them.

From start to finish i was happy with the quality of workmanship and quality of the doors that i chose definatly recomend to my friends and family if they need any future work

Had 2 windows and a set of french doors installed in January. Over the moon, looking forward too our new conservatory being done next month.

Full of empty promises, the occasional response to my communication was aimed only at further delaying any action... Ended up asking bank to step in to recover the money, 4 months into waiting for refund...

We wanted a warm roof conservatory. Told you can’t do those on a new build conservatory, even though on the initial call with Chris I told him that’s what we wanted so I’m not sure why he booked us in with designer. Who was a lovely guy. He arrived at 6pm and left at 9.24pm. 3 and a half hours later after we had both been at work all day! 😳

I worked for a PVCU manufacturer 12 years and know that even with them adding on overheads their prices are insane and they are ripping people off if anyone takes them up on that first quote.

To then have the nerve to come back and say they can do it cheaper is a joke.

You should be giving hard working people your best quote initially and stop wasting people time with fake niceties to get a foot in the door.

Do not waste your time or money!

Pushy salespeople, fitters that don’t know what they’re doing and a none existent after sales service, and they’re not even cheaper than a lot of companies! Once they’ve got your money they don’t want to know about any issues, I will be getting in touch with trading standards about this cowboy outfit!
