Bad system
For example, if you purchase a product worth €960, you can pay for it in 6 or 12 interest-free instalments.
Here’s an example with repayment in 12 monthly interest-free instalments:
On the day of purchase, the total amount of €960 is temporarily held on your credit card (Visa), while you pay the first installment of €80. Each time you pay an instalment, the corresponding amount is released from your credit card.
Specifically:
• On the day of purchase, you pay the first instalment, reducing the held amount automatically to €880.
• In the 2nd month, with the second instalment of €80, the held amount decreases to €800.
• In the 3rd month, it drops to €720, and so on.
This process continues each month until your balance is fully paid after 12 months.
This way, you can enjoy your product immediately while paying gradually without any extra charges.
A necessary condition for completing a purchase in instalments via credit card is that the total purchase amount must be available to be held within your available credit limit. Its very stupid that It misleads the customer; I cancelled the order and am buying elsewhere.
