Shocking company, AVOID!
I was recommended ekm as I have a small start up business. They were very helpful, got my website up and running and helped along the way... then BOOM, they are taken over and suddenly they've stopped all of the previous price plans and rolled it into one payment of £300 +VAT!! Been with them for 5 months so luckily I'm able to move providers hassle free. No more of my money is going into their hands and let's just hope they get the business they want for that ridiculous price. Hop on over to Shopify, £25 per month, same support just no rip off fees.very poor company, I would recommend avoiding them. Oh, they also have a Facebook group where if you voice an honest opinion and they dont like it, they boot you out! Very Unprofessional!!! Will never recommend!!!!

Thanks for your feedback, although we are slightly confused by some of your comments. We can see you opened your account with us in April of this year, and between now and then, EKM has not been 'taken over'.
We have, however, decided to sunset the tiered service we have been offering since 2016 in favour of a different, more tailored service designed to help small businesses grow. As an existing customer, you'll know that we announced these changes in emails and on your EKM online shop dashboard and that customers on the existing tiers - like yourself - could continue to use the tiered service system; we're simply not offering those legacy services to new customers.
Upon speaking to our Social Media Team, you were removed from our customer forum after breaking the rules on three occasions. After being removed, you made several attempts to reapply. We have rules on our customer forum to ensure that the content and conversations add value to its users, and after reviewing your posts, the Social Media Team removed you from this resource.
Thank you for letting us know that you have decided to move to another provider, though. However, upon checking your account, we found that you have not actually cancelled your services with us. You'll need to call the Customer Support Team on the usual number to do that, and they will take you through downloading your content. We wish you all the best for your business in the future.
No Longer Good for Small Businesses
A mixed report. Had our website with EKM for a number of years. Found the platform reliable, with customer service and our account manager consistently very good. Since the takeover however, it seems that all EKM management are interested in is money, with prices rocketing at a time when small businesses are already struggling to survive. Sadly for us, the lateset price increase (October 24) means using EKM is no longer viable. It remains to be seen whether swimming with only the big fish will work for EKM. Feel very let down by EKM.

Thanks for your feedback - we're sorry to hear you feel that way. For the last few years, we've aimed to keep our price rises minimal. In fact, we didn't implement any price rise for our services in 2022, as you'll know, and for our PPC Marketing service and Email Marketing platform, their price has remained unchanged for the past six years.
As a business owner yourself, you'll understand that price rises are unfortunately inevitable - as they allow us to keep up with inflation, but they also allow us as a company to invest in our team, products and services to provide as much value to our customers as we can.
However, as an existing customer, we guess you're on one of our legacy tiers. If this is the case and you feel that the recent price rise was unaffordable to you and your business, please do reach out to us. As the information on your Trustpilot is pretty non-specific, we're unable to identify your account on our database to comment on which tier or services you're using. Still, if you contact the Customer Support Team or, if applicable, your Ecommerce Expert, we can take a look at your EKM online shop and see what we can do to help you improve your sales - the level of support we can provide on legacy tiers remains unchanged. Please reach out and let us know how we can help.

Excellent support ⭐️
I've happily been using EKM for 10+ years. Contact with support is rare - it is very easy to manage my shop as the system is so well designed. There is also an excellent support hub with lots of documentation for more complicated tasks.
The support team are always responsive, helpful, and positive. This week's feedback / question was answered very quickly which is always appreciated.

We have had excellent technical support from EKM staff, especially Rebecca who organised her team to give our eshop a major makeover. Right from the start she listened to what we wanted improved and totally delivered on it all. We had so many improvements we wanted created and gave her a huge list and nothing was too much trouble, or too difficult for her, she completed it all.
