EKM for well over 15 years but NO LONGER!!!
We have been with EKM for well over 15 years but recently since covid the two online shops we have with EKM have become an expensive waste of time. There approach to customer service has become a "CLICK HERE" to find out, they have limited the amount of listings per small business, joined up with AWS (Amazon World Service) "seriously" which has resulted in a dramatic fall in our shop turnovers. Loyality stands for nothing with their continued price hacks so all in all don't bother unless of course you sell a products that are as rare as hens teeth!
Finally we are in the process of closing down both shops and continuing with our eBay shops that do a far better job. eg. This week total sales on EKM two sales! Total sales on ebay 49 sales.

Taking up a few points to the EKM review!
It's just typical that they have NOT had the decency to call us about the review I have posted (as a company director myself) if I ever received a poor genuine review I would be on it like yesterday, I would as a director take time out no matter how small the issue was to deal with it. BUT NO FROM EKM! - As the reply from EKM show it's all about "Ticket" replies. Clearly EKM don't seem to care about losing business. Also I could go on about the downtimes and reduction in the support times but "Hey Ho" let not get us started. EKM was built and made by small businesses such as ours and losing the small companies will be their downfall.

Hi Mr Gregory, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear you feel disappointed after so many years with us, and we’d like to clarify a few of the points you’ve raised.
Regarding customer support, we do sometimes share links to our online guides, as in ticket #623686 where Tia explained how to manage missing pages and provided a step-by-step article for reference. This approach has been part of our support process since 2018, as it allows us to give clear written instructions you can return to at any time and, of course, our Customer Support Team is always here if you’d prefer direct assistance.
On hosting, AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a leading cloud provider, and moving our platform onto it in 2024 improved speed and scalability for our customers. As Beth explained in ticket #621964, while we appreciate your concern, there’s no evidence linking this change to sales performance. Sales can be influenced by a wide range of factors - from seasonality and buying trends to competitor activity, pricing, and marketing strategies.
We also understand your comparison with eBay, but it’s worth noting that marketplaces and standalone ecommerce sites operate very differently. Marketplaces provide instant access to shoppers, while hosted websites rely more on continuous marketing to drive traffic and sales. We’re always happy to share best-practice advice, but ultimately, the ongoing promotion of your EKM online shop is within your control.
We’re grateful for the many years you’ve been with us and are glad to hear you’ve found success through other channels. We wish you the very best moving forward, and our team remains here should you wish to revisit EKM in future.

We have been with EKM for about 10 years and in the main it has been a positive experience.
We tried to beta test a new Shopify site to see how well it does against our EKM shop and Shopify customer service was so bad that we closed our account and this is something that EKM does exceptional well at and over the 10 years we have seen EKM improve at what they do and in the main we are happy with EKM but their is a few issues to be aware of.
1. We recently had a 9 months support ticket closed because of missing images in search and sadly the issue has come back, I should add that support issues do take a lot longer to resolve than was the case in the past.
2. The new pricing, I have spoken to a number of new businesses that I work with and their is no starter pricing tier ( their was an it was discontinued) , which means the pricing doesn't allow a starter business to grow with the platform like you can do with Shopify, which is a shame as I wonder how much business they lose by removing the growth tiers.
3. There is always a lot more work to implementing add on , a few examples is anything Google takes work ( we recently got rated as exceptional by Google and everyother platform had an automatic intergration but not EKM) and other examples is things like Bing's Indexnow, so intergration always requires more work than other platforms.
Overall I recommend EKM if your an existing business with a website and you are un-happy with your current provider, I'm thinking of all those un-happy shopify customers here and in many ways you will find the transition to EKM easier than you might imagine but be aware that you are gaining exceptionally good (if occasionally slow issue resolution) customer service that is easy to deal with but you are losing the benefit of easy intergration , I should add that injecting code is less challenging than you may think.
So would I recommend EKM , yes I would they are a great software provider that with a few changes could be an exceptional software provider, I hope one day I could rate them as the 5 they deserve.

EKM supports you when needed.
I had a lady who really ran EKM for me. I just sent her the wording and pictures. She has died. I was in a panic. But I then found at 78 I could do it. But yesterday had fantastic help from a lady at EKM. She helped with a problem I was stuck with. And I now know I can go back for help. EKM doesn’t just host your business they are to support you.

Ekmshp.com is a complete scam
Ekmshp.com is a complete scam. Unfortunately I did not exercise my usual caution and was scammed out of £56 for a nano-zoom camera. They debited my card, provided no further communication and when I tried to go back onto website was advised page no longer exists. If I could give less than one star, I would.

A quick look at that domain name reveals an online store based in China, which we guess is where you made your purchase in the first place.
