Very poor product sold

Super disappointing I brought an A board sign from displaysense which was sold as "wind resistant" and "heavy duty" sign for outside my shop.

As it was an expensive item, I even emailed before I purchased and was reassured it was "durable" hence the price. 9 months later, it was unusable. The clips slowly fall off after changing the poster inserted.
When I messaged Display sense, they were extremely quick to shift the blame and started suggesting I had left it outside in "strong" winds (which I hadn't) that "force" had been used on the snap frame (which it hadn't) and that the high street was an area of "heavy foot fall" - which makes me wonder what this was even designed for.
Next they started to try and sell me another sign to buy from them!

I gave 2 stars simply because they do respond quickly to be fair to them- besides that very disappointed at the product I purchased and instant customer blame instead of assistance

Our pavement signs are designed to be durable and weather-resistant when used and maintained in accordance with our care guidance; however, as with all outdoor display products, general wear can occur over time - especially in busy or exposed locations.

For clarity, our warranty covers genuine manufacturing faults or defects, not damage sustained during use. This distinction is important, as we aim to handle all warranty claims fairly and consistently to ensure a balanced and transparent process for every customer.

High end for kitchen at budget price

Love my display cabinet which we're using in our new kitchen to store glasses as the kitchen felt to hemmed in with a standard wall cabinet. It looks very high end but was only £145. Well made, albeit,my husband struggled a little with putting the doors on in situ, as was a bit fiddly but with two of us, we got it done. The courier delivered to completely wrong address but that's not Displaysence's fault, so I'm not deducting stars.

Utter joke of a company

Utter joke of a company. They show items in stock when they clearly are not. Then they send out multiple dispatched emails when the item hasn’t been dispatched. Communication is mostly via email as you can’t get hold of anyone in their after sales team when you try to call their advertised number. They offered other options (different sizes) after I had informed them that the space is 4ft and that’s why we ordered this size. They don’t read emails properly and don’t fully answer questions put to them. Then to round it all off they cancel the original order and expect us to pay again for a different colour clothes rail. One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. How they are still in business is beyond me.

If you are looking for expensive bad quality this is your store to go to. And please do not believe the 1 year warranty.

Bought a pavement board it is not stable and was falling everyday. The metal snatches and broke 3 weeks after. It is not water resistant as it was claimed. And when I approached them it say that there is an issue with the board within my warranty period they said it is not covered due to misuse.

A display board pavement, I have no idea how can someone misuse it

We purchased what was described as a premium pavement sign from this company, but unfortunately the product has been extremely disappointing. Within a very short time and minimal use, we experienced multiple issues — the metal frame began coming apart, the water base leaked, and the poster backing warped even in light wind. These are not minor flaws and certainly not what you'd expect from a product marketed as robust and high quality.

We raised these concerns promptly, within days of receiving the item, but were told the damage was due to "use" and not covered by the warranty. Despite the fact that we reported the problems early and clearly outlined our concerns, the company declined to offer a refund or full replacement.

Their customer service was polite but ultimately unhelpful — offering only a 20% discount on a replacement, rather than standing behind the quality of their product. For a business purchase, where reliability is essential, this experience has been very disappointing.

We would urge others to be cautious before purchasing, especially if you're expecting long-term durability or genuine after-sales support.

Con merchants and charlatans

Bought 30 x 40 quad poster frame which cost £99. After my purchase, I came across the invoice from Displaysence for another exact same frame I bought from them back in in 2019 - it cost £42.94 back then, that is a percentage increase of over 130%. I realise it was 6 years ago, but can Displaysense really justify a price increase of £56.06?

No great shakes with regard to frame quality. There was a crease on the edge of the plastic cover that’s placed over the poster which left a white mark - quality control sadly lacking there.

If you are contemplating buying one of these frames, I suggest you look elsewhere. You’ll hopefully find something that’s better quality, and much more value for money.

It is quite clear that Displaysense are ladling on the price of these frames because they are industry standard among cinema exhibitors, who can buy in bulk and get heavily discounted prices - where as you pay through the nose for an individual purchase. It’s all a bit of a con really. Displaysense? Display “non” sense more like.

They sent me an email soon after my purchase asking me to write a review and “Get a £5 voucher of your next order”. I did as they asked and posted this very review. Surprisingly my review wasn’t listed and I’ve received neither sight nor sound of this elusive voucher they speak of. Isn't that false advertising?

Excellent value for money, great sturdy rail. Holds loads of heavy jackets. We’ve bought before and were again very happy with the product.

Unfortunately the packaging didn’t survive the journey - but the product arrived intact and complete.

Horrific customer service 0/10 at best

Absolutely horrified at the terrible service I received today. Avoid this lot at all costs. I’ve been looking for the perfect display cabinet for my needs and after a couple of months searching, found this company and they had EXACTLY what I need (only in silver, not white - but I can live with that) - as I was on their website, there was a countdown clock constantly telling me that I needed order in less than 1 hr to get free delivery within 2 working days so i hurried and placed the order and paid. I then book a handy man to build an install them in 6 days time. Next day, I get an email telling me they actually don’t have any stock - and it will take 2 months or more to get it!!! They offered me to change my order to 3 different alternatives, ( 2 with no lighting so no good and the third is way too big! I politely asked to speak to a service supervisor or management but was refused- 3 times. All they will say is I have either got to wait 2-3 months or cancel the order so they get away with it . Absolutely disgusting that I am unable to talk to management - that is my right as a consumer. Do yourself a favour and avoid this lot. Even the Customer ‘Service’ (Irony) girl on the phone was rude and will not acknowledge that this is an issue. It’s despicable that it’s allowed to happen - selling stock you don’t have but misleading customers by telling them AFTER they have purchased it.
