Glasses were OK but sent in a cardboard box
Glasses were OK.,
But the paid for delivery charge was enough to send my glasses with a first class stamp on the box.
Instead they took 3 days from dispatch, until I received them, .sent with a second class stamp..
Not even a cheap plastic glasses case was ncluded.

The upfront service and process is…
The upfront service and process is excellent but the product was not satisfactory. I have tried to email you with images of the frames supplied. The arms are out of alignment by 1 cm and the lenses are not in the same plane and there are no adjustment options. I tried to email a response to your earlier email but it will not accept this.

Delivery …
I was initially thrilled to find this service as I had lost my glasses and my own optician couldn’t replace them for almost a week. As I need them for my work, I obtained my prescription and sent it off to Direct sight on the Sunday.
Earlyish on the Monday morning I received an acknowledgement which said my order would be with me on the Wednesday. Which is still a great service, but I had paid an additional £19 to have next day/24 hour delivery.
My glasses are fine. Really pleased. But am disappointed with the cost of £19 for postage!
Had I remained with my own optician I would have received them one day later, but saved the £19. So I would have stuck with my optician and had them checked/fitted.

Having reviewed your order, we can see it was placed over the weekend, outside of our production hours. It was processed on the next available working day, Monday 13th July, and your prescription glasses were produced and dispatched that same day. Your tracking information was emailed to you the following morning, with Royal Mail delivering your order the very next day, on Tuesday 14th July.
The £19.00 charge is for our Express production service, which prioritises the manufacture of your prescription glasses so they are produced and dispatched on the same working day (or the next working day for orders placed after 3pm or over the weekend).
If, having received your glasses within one working day of production, you feel we were able to deliver the service provided, we'd be grateful if you would consider updating your review to reflect your overall experience.
