The glasses from Direct Sight were intended to be a spare pair, but my husband’s original glasses wears them all the time. Very happy.
My husband, who is 85, needs glasses to help his balance, since he fell in January, fracturing his pelvis.
He broke the frame of the glasses he had from the local optician, so was without glasses for over 2 weeks, a really worrying time.
Our daughter advised us how to get a second pair, on line, to keep as “spare”.
My husband’s original glasses had been repaired, but as soon as he tried on the glasses from Direct Sight he said they were more comfortable and better in every way.

Easy website to use. Good range or frames and lenses at a very fair price. Precise instructions for measurement.
The finished spectacles appear to be of a much higher standard than some well-known high street discount opticians.

Scuffed and loose
Brand new glasses arrived with both screws that hold the lenses in the frames scuffed and loose. It looks like the wrong size screwdriver was used (badly) to try to fix the lenses in the frames. I'm a repeat customer, but this will be the last time I buy from Direct Sight I'm afraid.

We can see that your first order was produced and dispatched within 2 working days, however your second order is for prescription sunglasses, which do carry a longer production time. The lenses have now been completed and we're currently awaiting a replenishment of your chosen frame from our supplier. Unfortunately, this delivery has been delayed, which has impacted the dispatch of your order.

Delivery is slow.
Price and lenses are reasonable though frames are not the best quality, ( cheap hinges ). They use Royal Mail so unless you pay more you can expect to wait 4, 5 days or longer for them to arrive.
