Do not buy from these. It is not a uk based company. Items are nothing like the pictures. It takes weeks to receive your order. The items are poor quality and a terrible fit. Then when you try and use the 30day guaranteed return policy, the telephone number doesn’t work, there is no return address on the website or on the parcel and when you email for return details they just ignore your emails so you are stuck with unwanted goods.

Reported to trading standards and Instagram admin!!

MORE INFO: Even their replies are automated, they reply the same to any bad reviews as you can see below. They have no intention of getting back to you if you email them as I have tried several times over the last few weeks. They just run down your promised 30day guaranteed refund policy period so you are stuck with unwanted goods.

Do not buy from this company. Cheap clothing made from nylon. Not as described on website. Ship from China and as many (so many) have reported below they expect you to pay £50 shipping fee back to China to return their poorly made, cheap material, sized badly and poorly packaged item.

It also took over 3 weeks to arrive as their products come from China.

My experience is this is a sham company.

Dave & Carter - if you're reading this ram your replies. You clearly don't give a flying f, and are lying to everyone when you say you would like people to email you to resolve the issue.

Ordered a pair of trousers for my husband in medium. The trousers came with no size label inside and they were too big. On trying to return the item, I was told that I would have to return them to China, at twice the cost of the price of the goods. I wished I’d looked on Trustpilot before I ordered.

This is a scam company. Delivered a disgusting badly made nylon men's , Stylish Men's Business Blazer, nothing like what I ordered.
The email and phone number provided to discuss the return process are none existent and they have therefore effectively stolen £53.95 of me, which I can’t get back.

Agree with other posts, an absolute scam. Items took 2 weeks to arrive, ordered linen & was given some knockoff plastic like material you would get from temu or one of the other knock off stores. Complete rip off. Labels ripped out of the shirt, so god knows where they sourced it from & what it is actually made of, definitely not linen.

Order a pair of shows for 39.95 GBP. Order was shipped 2 weeks late and came in the wrong size.

Reached out to ask to return it, and they are asking me to pay £50 to return it to a warehouse in China as per their "Return Policy" which does not mention any such thing.

I ordered, then read the reviews, I've had to laugh at a wedding jacket I purchased, it's a sublimated snake skin I've just laughed when I've seen it, do not buy unless you want a laugh!

Appears to be UK company but transpires it's Chinese. Delivery was 2 weeks later than quoted - because it had to come from China!
Ordered faded pink chino shorts but got sickly pink in a dreadful polyester material.
Returns are at your expense back to China and I doubt one would get a refund.

Absolute total rubbish. Delivery not arrived, communication terrible and now I understand that’s probably a Chinese company masquerading as a UK company. They are not a UK company. Avoid like the plague

I should have looked at the reviews! Sent a very poor garment, nothing like what I ordered. Emailing is a waste of time as in contradiction to their website, unsatisfactory goods must be returned to China at a cost of £50. There will then be a stock reply about "making things right" This is nonsense as I've already been through that with them. AVOID!

Dave and Carter sounds like a UK company, and their website does a good job of making them look like a UK operation. BUT they hide the fact that
- they are based in China
- all returns have to be sent back to China
- the customer has to pay for returns to China.
THERE IS NO MENTION OF ANY OF THIS UNTIL YOU WANT TO RETURN AN ITEM.
When you request a return, they send offers of discounts on future orders instead of authorising a return. This is despite their website assuring you of a no-hassle return
Despite repeated requests THEY REFUSE TO SEND A RETURNS AUTHORISATION, so you're stuck with stuff you've paid for, don't want, and can't return

UPDATE NEARLY 3 MONTHS LATER:
Dave & Carter came up with fine words to try to mitigate my review (above). However their actions show that they are indeed fraudulent - 3 months on and I still have had NO REFUND

it appears that Dave and Carter UK has shut down its website following a wave of negative customer reports.

Do not buy anything from this company. Arrived 3 weeks after ordering, badly packaged, not linen at all but a cheap synthetic material, tacky white stitching, badly made, nothing like the photos and with the labels cut out. They now tell me it will cost £50 approx to return as it has to go to China. Their website says nothing about the warehouse being in China. AVOID

DISGUSTING SCAM OF A COMPANY - Do NOT Buy from them! I ordered 2 shirts which took ages to arrive and they look nothing like the ones advertised on their website. No chance of getting a refund. No Customer helpline. You have to return to CHINA at a cost of £50 postage. STAY CLEAR! So frustrating and upsetting that these companies are allowed to operate.

This company are not UK based, ship cheaply, poorly sized clothing from China and despite posing as a UK based company who clearly ship from a UK based location, ask you to return items to China.

Dave&Carter don’t respond to this review asking me to email you as I already have on a number of occasions to be met by nothing but a run around.

Avoid purchasing from this company as other reviews say. The suit I ordered was poorly packed and incorrect size when I enquired about returning they said will cost you £50 to send back to China. When i purchased it they said they are based in the UK. I normally check reviews however made a mistake and ordered it blindly as I was fooled by thinking it’s a Uk company going by the name Dave and Carter.

After your reply I paid £35 to send this piece of rubbish back to you via Royal Mail over 4 weeks ago however I’ve still not a received a single penny from them. Scammers shouldn’t be allowed to sell in the Uk.!!

Cheap clothing from China. No sizes on items, chucked into cheap plastic bags, but charge UK prices. They say 30 day return. But you can’t return anything as they do not respond to emails to be able to return. Therefore no refunds. So stuck with two shirts, that cost £50, which are not even good enough to polish the car. Avoid using these people, absolute cheap scammers

Do not order from this company, which are based goodness knows where,took ages to arrive, and so awful item were thrown in bin.

The company is called Daved & Carter it looks like an English website site.
It’s based in Chinese.
Because they have no Address on there website or company house number say your order is dispatched two to three days and it take at least 14 days and when you track your delivery you can see it comes from out the UK.
Don’t even go there they sent me out was a branded T-shirt £39 which was not branded at all a bad fit and poor quality.
Looking at the website you think it was based in the UK, it was only when I tracked it I found out it was coming from China.
They said I could keep it and they would give me 20% of some thing else.
Or it would cost me around £50 to send it back for a refund so they have got you both ways.
It’s my loss and I am so very cross.
But check reviews which they don’t even have on their website.
So be very careful you have been warned.
And of course they won’t care now they got my money.
There replie will be sorry and they would like to help you.
But it the website is not true why would you believe anything they offer you.
