My husband just had a medical with a doctor from D4drivers. It was a waste of money. The doctor put the eye test board next to a bright window that caused glare. He couldn't even read the top line ! He told the doctor this so the doctor turned off the lights and then asked my husband to read in a darkened room with light streaming in from outside right where the reading board was. My husband has always had excellent vision better than mine so when he told me this I was mortified. We then had to book him in with to a proper professional optician with the right equipment to do a proper eye test...Specsavers ...who passed him with flying colours. Now his licence is about to expire and affect his job and livelihood because of a doctor who should have the correct equipment/room to carry out the eye test properly. My husband is 66 and he almost decided to stop driving because of this doctor's incompetence. The doctor also wrote on his form using illegible writing that looks as if a spider has crawled on the page. We have reported this but no resolution and we can't get the rest of his form filled in now before it expires. Dreadful. Don't risk your livelihood.

Easy peasy, in and out. All appropriate medical questions completed. Got the appointment booked for 6 days from when I called whereas my own GP was going to be a month and half and double the price.

No clear directions of how to prepare for medical assessment report, it appears as a money making device. They set up people to falter by coming to appointments with inadequate documentation.
