Was going to book a hgv medical but found out that the are not accepted by dvla . Nothing mentioned when enquiry luckily I found out before I paid and lost my money

Which in turn they refused to except as doctors on wheels is under investigation by trading standards

Had medical form sent back as company in trouble with trading standards. Don't use these people!

Just been informed by DVLA that they do not accept Dr's on Wheels medicals. Not really surprised as 3 years ago they messed up my eyesight test and the female Dr's minder didn't know what was needed for drivers who wear glasses to drive. Made me take them off, and my vision was deemed unsatisfactory. Mostly non UK Drs making quick buck. The Dr did no checks and just completed tick boxes on form, total time.... Less than 10 minutes in back of a Transit.

Sorry about earlier writing excellent review later found this company still taking my money knowing that the medical will be refused by the dvla and you will have to get another medical cost time and no license when urgently required so beware.

Found out later that this company is under investigation by Swansea trading standards.

Has been rejected by DVLA as Doctors stamp not acceptable (J Coates slough) stated the company Doctorsonwheels not valid.

Performed an HGV medical which was rejected by DVLA as they are being investigated by Trading Standards.

The doctor didn't fill in the medical form correctly so the dvla returned my form to me to be taken back to doctors to be rectified and this delay has resulted in a very good job offer being withdrawn

My first review of this company was good.... Unfortunately that was befor dvla refused my renewal of driving entitlement, because they do not except medicals via j coates training Ltd.
So after dvla revoked my licence because my medical has expired, I am at least 3 weeks unemployed
Because of the greed of this company. They no dvla do not except medical d4 forms filled out on behalf of J. Coates. And they have known this since June 2019. But still they take your money knowing it will be refused.

The venue was extremely basic, with an empty room, a table, two chairs, an Omron blood pressure monitor and an eye chart. For many years I have taken an annual Motor Racing Medical with a stress ECG every 2 years, and always pass without a problem, the last one being December 2019, just 2 months ago. I was shocked by the high blood pressure readings recorded by your doctor which were way above anything I have ever seen before. I would question the accuracy of his monitor, but have made an appointment with my own doctor for a review to be safe. I regularly monitor my own blood pressure on a similar monitor at home and am always within the normal band for my age.

when booking I made it clear that I was going to work immediately after my appointment and asked how long this would take I was assured it would only take 20 mins so I booked a late start for work. I turned up for my appointment at 09:50am and the doctor did not arrive until 09:55 despite being told to arrive early. but there were 8 other people all with the same appointment time and not just for driver medicals, there were RTA patients, pregnant woman and other drivers all with a 10:am appointment time. I walked out at 10:45 without seeing the only doctor running this practice by himself. This is just a scam to rush as many people through as quick as possible. I complained to Doctors on Wheels and got my monies back and complained to the general medical council.
