I made a complaint 4 days ago and the another the next day, i booked a flight which should have been £124 including taxes but on completion I was charged £199.77 an extra £75. I have checked flights on your website and the prices are including taxes already before you select a flight. I don’t want to cancel I just want a refund of the £75 which I am owed. Worst company EVER and I will be taking…

Worst company EVER and I will be taking this to trading standards and seeking legal action against you guys if you do not refund me my money ASAP...complete scam company...how do you expect to build a business like this??!!! I cancelled a flight about 2 weeks ago as I was really unwell and didn’t want to travel and put myself and others in risk...I should get a full refund ASAP, after numerous calls to yourself and British Airways, you are still saying the same generic rubbish response as you are feeding everyone else on this site, that it is dependant on the airline refunding you guys, that is 100 per cent INCORRECT as I have spoken to the airlines and they said you are the only ones responsible to issue a refund...so please do so ASAP for order number 1601901818 before I take further action!!

Our flight from Heathrow (london) to Sao Paulo (brazil) scheduled for the 22nd of September has been canceled. Our airline company is saying that we have to get in touch with the agency in order to get a refund or change the trip.(we have to go to a wedding on the 5th of October) and LUCKY2GO does not answer and has been completely silent. We have sent 5 emails, forms from their website. And NOTHING. WE NEED THIS RESOLVED ASAP. the next step for us is legal processing. Please! If anyone can get in contact with us.

No reply whatsoever

Over three months of waiting for a refund...
After the airline canceled and you confirmed that the refund process will start you went completely silent.
I've been trying to reach out for an update of any sort. However, it's impossible to contact you. No replies to my emails no replies to the contact form on your website and calling is a waste of time because the only thing you listen to is an automatic message saying to contact via the website form, which as mentioned above is utterly useless.

No reply to emails, phone and no refunds

I have been writing emails asking about the refund since a few months now. I booked my flight to India through this website in March to fly in early April. The flights got cancelled and Air India announced they are refunding the tickets. Some of my friends who booked through different websites have already received refunds, whereas Lucky2go is not even bothering to contact the airlines to ask for refund!! I also see that they say its the airlines due to which there are delays but then how come my friends who booked tickets for same flight got refunded? I am pretty sure they do not want to process refunds!! Beware of such websites! I consider 600+ EUR lost already and learnt a lesson for life!

The airlines consider each case individually, so there is a possibility that although the money for canceled reservations of other people has already been returned, your refund is still waiting for the carrier to process. After receiving the funds from the airline, we will immediately send the funds for the flight ticket that has been canceled. Refund for cancelled flight

My flight from London Gatwick to Orlando got cancelled due to the pandemic and i requested Lucky2go for a complete refund. But there is no response to my email. Terrible customer service.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!! Do not book anything with this scam company. I have been waiting for a refund since march and now am being ignored. The customer service is almost non existent. I keep being told that it's the airline they are waiting on however this is a lie as I have contacted the airline and they have told me that they have had no request from lucky2go!!!! How can you still operate when you are just scamming people out of their money. BEWARE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!!
Check the comments on the Facebook page and you will see exactly what I am talking about.
Do the right thing and refund my money, the next step will be legal action from me!!!

Lucky2Go does not act on behalf of their customers at all. I do have a high level of empathy for the travel industry under the current circumstances but this is just a company doing literally nothing to help their customers.

Please see below the correspondence we received after our flights were cancelled and we chased the company for months for after our flights were cancelled (I have also included my response and the information provided on the airlines' webpages):

I have sent the email below to the company as per today but I doubt they will do anything unless we take legal action:

I have had another look at the airlines webpages (Air Canada and United and both state the following) since our last correspondence (Order number 39603139):

AIR CANADA webpage:

You can now convert your previously cancelled booking (for original travel between March 1, 2020 and August 31, 2021) to an Air Canada Travel Voucher that is fully transferrable and never expires or Aeroplan Miles with an additional 65% bonus miles. Learn more.

If you booked with a travel agent or any online travel agency (for example, Expedia or Priceline), kindly contact them directly for options. Each partner has a unique booking system that we are unable to access in order to adjust your booking.

LUFTHANSA webpage:

Vouchers for tickets booked up until 15 May
Departures from within the EU, Switzerland or the United Kingdom
Has your flight been cancelled or do you wish to travel at a later date? Tickets booked up to and including 15 May 2020 can be converted into a Flight Value Voucher. If you convert your tickets by 31 August 2020, you will also receive a discount voucher worth 50 euros.

I expect you to obtain the vouchers from the airlines you booked our flights with on our behalf and to act within the deadlines given on the webpage or I will proceed to take legal action due to your neglect to fulfil your part of our contract.

We have also asked lucky2go to send us the correspondence they did on our behalf with the airline without any luck.

This is by far the worst experience with a travel agent I have ever had in my life. As the airlines only accept any interaction with the travel agent who did the booking there literally is nothing we can do ourselves to get vouchers or a refund.

Nightmare

This company is completely disrespectful. I have been asking for a solution for a flight that was canceled in March 2020 and they ignored all my emails. At the beginning they asked me for dates to replace the flight and I gave them many options and the answer was always the date you selected is not available. I even asked for a voucher to choose another destination, because refund they will not give me. However, they do not reply my mails.

Refund, a-hole!!!

Ahhh, I met the same issue of refund!!! It has been one week since I booked the flight. Although I sent you an email at the end of last month to ask about the refund, I still haven't received a reply until today, which is August 17th. This result is disappointing and outrageous. I have communicated with the airline, and they said that they have no right to decide on the refund issue. Until I found that you still sent me an email on August 4th to state the flight check-in issue, I could not see your sincerity in dealing with this matter. I will regard it as a fraud and take effective legal means to get justice if I don't get any refund within the next week.

I am awaiting a refund for my flight…

I am awaiting a refund for my flight from London to Tokyo, outbound on 15th July. The flight was cancelled by the airlines. I have spoken to all airlines involved and they have said that they have received the refund request from lucky2go and that they have credited the lucky2go account. Please can you now give me what I am owed and return this money into my account? I have been chasing this through emails and have had absolutely no response. Phone line is inexcusably down, when customer services should be a top priority in these times.

NO LA RECOMIENDO A NADIE

La peor pagina para gestionar tus vuelos, no la recomiendo a nadie, hemos pagado por hacer el check-in online en 3 vuelos y no nos han enviado ningun check-in, por lo tanto hemos pagado para nada ya que el check in lo hemos hecho en el mismo aeropuerto. Les envias mensajes y no te contestan, no le doi menos estrellas porqué no se puede.

Flight got cancelled and Lucky2go does not respond to any emails, contact forms, calls, etc. Very bad customer support! It is completely unclear if and when I will receive a refund under what circumstances. I will seek legal advice. Never again!

Maui - Thailand Flight

It has been more than 4 months since I've been waiting for my flight refund which was supposedly May 11, 2020. And I requested for refund a month or so before my flight was cancelled due to covid. Already sent more than 5 refund request!

May I know who I can reach to contact with or an email? I've been doing that and they all say that it's pending. It's been months now. I already received couple months ago with several of your agent and none of them was able to fully process my request.

The customer service of this company is terrible. Despite contacting them about 8 times nobody bother to reply to me about my refund. It is impossible to communicate with them as there is also no contact number. Best to avoid!

DO NOT BOOK USING THESE PEOPLE

`This site took my money for the fare, ticketed the flight and then contacted me to say the flight has been cancelled and that I need to re-book with new dates. I have checked with the airline and the flights have no been been cancelled but lucky2go withdrew my tickets and are lying. I have now been charged and cannot contact the company, they have shut down their phone line and they have not responded to numerous of their "change request forms" they have left me stuck in the UK unable to get home and taken my money. SCAMMERS.

Big Complaint! I've been trying to reach lucky2go.com…

I've been trying to reach lucky2go.com to either change 1 leg of the flight or cancel it altogether. I have not received a response that is either helpful or informative. Worst customer service ever! My flight needs to be change to this coming wednesday, august 13th, and I'm running out of time. I've even tried to get the number for the trip insurance to use that to cancel the flight and I get no response. I've contacted lucky2go probably 7-8 times with nothing helpful in return. It's the same computerized response or a response that had nothing to do with my question. Awful service!

Travel (non) guidance and information

I, too, an waiting for response to several submitted forms. I have a flight next week to Tel Aviv via Munich with Lufthansa. I know the border in Israel is closed and have asked for guidance re check-in, should mytravel plans continue, how to get a refund,etc. Yesterday Lufthansa told me my outward flight with them and return with Brussels Air were both cancelled on 5 June. Nobody has informed me of this!

An automated response is NOT enough! I am still waiting a REAL response AND a refund!
