A lovely item, that looks good in our playroom. It took around 3 months from purchase to receive the item but I was made aware there was a 10 week turn around, and the extra 2 weeks was due to the colour being out of stock, however, the seller messaged me to make me aware of this and offered a different colour if I wanted. It was well packaged and overall I’m happy with the product.

Purchased a lovely name and daisy for my niece! Colours chosen are spot on! Packaging was fantastic! Excellent present for someone or even for ur own house! Highly recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m so frustrated that the woman behind this page is again posting discounts & ready to go orders, when she can’t even fulfil my orders from over 6 months ago!!
She then has the cheek to call all the people behind the negative reviews ‘haters’ and that it’s really depressing.
Maybe if you didn’t scam people out of money then you wouldn’t have all these negative reviews!

This woman is a criminal. She takes people’s money without having any intention of delivering a product. She has committed countless frauds and clearly feels no remorse. Do not expect to receive the product, a refund or any communication at all. Complete disgrace.
I ordered in June and chased in September. She said she had Covid and would respond the next day. She didn’t. I have messaged over 40 times and she has not responded.
I have now filed a report with the police and suggest others do the same.
She is still taking orders and offering discounts. She must have made thousands in scamming people.

TOTAL FRAUD. If I could leave zero stars I would - avoid at all costs! She has taken my money & not sent my parcel. I ordered in April, have been trying to get a refund since July. Ignores all contact, has blocked me & won’t give my money back. Reported to Trading Standards.

I honestly loathe to post this but I’ve previously recommended this business and i would absolutely not now. I ordered some name door signs for my boys a couple of years ago and absolutely loved them, received after close to 12 weeks which was fine as they are handmade no issues.

In April this year I ordered one for my daughters bedroom a couple of other non name ones to add onto the doors as well. The turnaround for orders is often between 10-12 weeks so from April I wait until July to ask for an update to allow for the timeframe to more than pass. I messaged the lady from @curly_characters several times to ask for an update. She eventually responded and told me she would look into it. No response since end of July.

I’ve been more than reasonable I’ve offered to accept my order still I’ve then asked for a refund, I’ve sent my bank details over and requested a refund due to the lack of response.

My messages are read and ignored. Yet she’s posting messages from people who received their orders and posting new content almost daily. I previously saw her creating posts about other people who complained and sent abusive messages and I felt sorry for her even defended her and posted positively about the order I did receive - silly me!

I get that orders sometimes get missed but this is an absolute pisstake. AVOID AVOID AVOID GUYS!

If I could less I would! DO NOT shop from here, wish I had seen these reviews. I wanted to shop small businesses for Xmas but the lady is a scammer! I will reporting her to my bank and trading standards tomorrow. Was told after I placed the order 6-10 weeks. At 10 weeks I heard nothing I sent a message asking when the item would be sent out and if it would be here in time for Christmas. She played the victim and put the blame on me and asked if I wanted a refund! I didn’t want a refund I wanted to make sure I was getting the item sent out for Xmas, she insisted on a refund like she didn’t even want to make the order. Again put all the blame on me and was so rude, so I asked for a refund she asked for melt bank details that were sent a week ago!! She has since not refunded me or replied to my messages. It’s Christmas and need my refund. Awful lady and awful business, do not waste your money here. I’ve never experienced like it. I never leave reviews unless I really have too and I DO NOT want any other parents left out of pocket .

Avoid at all costs! Kept my money and extremely rude. Still no shipment 16 weeks later. Use another seller, try ETSY. AVOID!!!!

Shame i cant put a 0. Placed an order an in May, chased up 3 times on email- it is now November. Sent Instagram DM's with no response. Not sure how she has so many followers considering the reviews on here and being a known scammer. Left out of pocket and with no baby shower present. Don't waste your time buying

DO NOT BUY. Would give 0 if I could. Didn’t receive item and out of pocket after 6 months. They do this to everyone. BEAWARE. No response to emails or instagram dms.

I placed an order at the end of May that was advertised as immediate despatch. I messaged numerous times and it is now November and am still yet to receive the items ordered or a refund. Poor customer service. Do not buy from this business. I feel like I have been scammed.

Item did take a long time to arrive and then I had to re choose colours as one was out of stock but it did arrive and it does look fantastic

I had a lovely experience with Curly Characters! I purchased a pre made sign for my sons reading corner and I'm obsessed! Quick postage and well packaged and the item itself was just stunning!

The reviews below tell you everything you need to know about the integrity of this business. However what they don’t tell you is that the business owner has zero morals and her so-called ‘limited collection’ has been shamelessly copied off an established Etsy seller. She really is the ‘Aliexpress’ of small businesses.

Scam! Absolutely terrible. Still has £40 of my money for an order I paid for in May. Have not received my order and despite many polite and patient messages the seller has completely ignored me for months. Still posting orders on her Instagram story and offers which is incredibly frustrating. Please do not order from this person.

Every single item I’ve purchased from Chloe has been amazing! All items we have given as gifts have been so well received as it’s such a unique idea! Especially teachers, they’ve loved having them displayed on their walls in their classrooms.

Purchased item on 30th September from the ‘ready to ship’ collection, chased after 8 days and she said she thought she’d posted but forgot and would post that day. Chased again 11 days after that and have continuously been ignored, I can very clearly see the seller has read my messages on Instagram. I then emailed and sent a Facebook message, all very polite communication on my side but she has repeatedly ignored me.

All it would have taken was a response, either to send my item or refund me, such a poor service and poor manners. It sets an awful example for small companies who are trying to be independent and not rely on the likes of Etsy to sell their products.
Payment was made by bacs in good faith.

Chased 27/10/2025 - Business responded same day to say its a 10 week turnaround.
Chased by email 26/10/2025 - No response to date.
Chased on Instagram by direct message - 29/10/2025 - no response.
Chased 31/10/2025 10:48 ( as account was showing online) no response.
12:08 sent another Instagram message to say that I had tried and asking for a refund.

Plenty of time to respond, plenty of time to be professional, happy to take the money/order but never furfil the request.
Really poor service.
Do not recommend at all.
Fraud.
Try to support a small business and this is what you get.

Oh and I do have all the screenshots to prove it. So you can share on your stories that we are all wrong and you don't have chance to respond on Trustpilot. The truth is the truth and maybe if you put that effort into your business instead you wouldn't have all these bad reviews.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I placed an order in early March 2025, and still received nothing and it's the end of October!! Shes constantly advertising ready to go but can't keep up with orders and ignores messages from customers asking politely where items are!
I had initial communication from chloe saying she couldn't do what i'd ordered but agreed on something else, I picked colours via WhatsApp and waited the 12 weeks, no product delivered. I messaged, mid may, and she said she was running a little behind which I understand but a little message would have been nice. I then had another message end of may, saying I had to pick colours again due to supply issues, picked new colours and expected to wait a few weeks but still no product sent. I have sent texts, WhatsApps, email and Instagram but get completely ignored. I'm posting this review as it seems to be the only way to get anything from her as she tries to defend herself on Instagram to these reviews. I'll probably get ignored again! Really wanted to support a small business but wish I'd read reviews 1st and supported elsewhere
