My son has a lot of fun but stop taking his nut free sandwiches
My son has a lot of fun in this camp, thank you Mr. Trey for your added support and making a connection with him. When I scrapbook his summer, your notes will make it in his memories. Thank you Ms. Roxy for all your support of my son.
I don't like their methods of eliminating nut products from campers lunches. My son described it like this; someone announces to the campers if they have peanut butter products to raise their hands. Then they go around and pick up every product without replacing it or giving parents the option of bringing a replacement.
I understand the allergy concern, but, my son's sandwiches were taken from him and it was not brought to my attention until another camp had already started. When I asked why they didn't reach out to me, they replied that they can't call every parent of every camper they take food from. Is it that many?? The truth is, my son has never actually eaten, "peanut butter" his entire life. The word, "peanut butter," is a household name people call any nut or non-nut butter spreads. Most parents use sun-flower seed butter due to the allergy restrictions, but, the staff does not confirm this before trashing the kids lunch. After explaining that I make my son's lunches and his sandwiches contain sunflower seed butter, which is nut-free. She apparently didn't believe me because she felt that she had to confirm this with my wife the day after.
Not calling the parents gives the impression that they aren't concerned about how little the child is eating for lunch. I was upset after learning that my son had only eaten crackers, cheese and fruit for 3 days of lunch. The person I spoke with about it had an unapologetic attitude and came across that she made the right decision throwing my son's sandwiches away. This interaction has damage trust and now from one camp to the next I'm concerned someone may throw away anything my son has if it remotely resembles products containing nuts.
Other than that, staff is nice, my son has fun, he is learning something new and they get a break to play outside. The camp hands out creator bucks and they also have trading cards, which are cool incentives. It would be nice if they had creator camp wallets and trading card binders in their merch to hold the incentives they give the campers.
Creator camp is a great program and great company. Despite the above incident, I would recommend this to other parents.

However, we are incredibly sorry for the frustration and breakdown in communication regarding your son’s lunches.
Because we operate as a strictly nut-free camp and have students with severe nut allergies on site, our staff erred on the side of caution. That being said, we completely understand your frustration. Puting aside a nut-free alternative like sunflower seed butter without properly verifying it with you first is not how this should have been handled.
We are also very sorry for the lack of immediate communication and the defensive tone you experienced when you reached out. You absolutely should have been notified the very first day his lunch was questioned. We have spoken directly with our management team to ensure that communication protocols are greatly improved. Moving forward, if an instructor is unsure about a food item, they are required to contact the parent directly to confirm rather than making a unilateral decision.
We deeply value your trust and are so grateful that, despite this stressful incident, you still recommend our program. We would love the opportunity to chat with you directly to ensure we have a clear note on your son's profile regarding his sunflower seed butter lunches for any future sessions. Our son attended youtube gamer camp in Centennial. He learned a lot and is so proud of the work he did there. He also spoke very highly of his instructor Abby! Thank you for a fun camp.

My daughter had a great time at the 2D Cartoon Animators camp! By the second day she didn’t even say goodbye to me, just ran in to get in started. She got to learn a new skill, practice presenting, and made new friends. She will definitely be back! Her favorite professor was Mr. Terrance.

Grayson had a great and fun time at camp. He bonded with others and his counselor. He came back refreshed and ready to learn more about the word of God. As a child who experiences difficulties with socializing, he enjoyed being around others and enjoyed learning about other kids his age.

Hearing that he thoroughly enjoyed socializing and learning about other kids his age is absolutely the best feedback we could ask for, especially since building those social bonds can sometimes be a challenge. We love providing a welcoming environment where every child feels seen and supported.
Note: We want to gently mention that we are Creator Camp, an intensive creative technology and filmmaking program that is not religeosly affiliated. While it sounds like Grayson may have attended a wonderful faith-based camp recently, we are so incredibly glad he had such a positive, refreshing experience there! If he ever wants to explore movie-making, game design, or animation down the road, we would love to have him join us.

Ms Lizzy and Ms Natalia and Ms Anissa were really engaging and fun for my kiddos. They came home eager to keep working on their projects and start new ones. Appreciate Micah for ensuring teachers were aware of my child’s learning style. Drop off and pick up were easy with ample parking on the street.

Great instructors, but very concerning management practices (The Woodlands location)
My two children (ages 6 and 10) attended Creator Camp in The Woodlands during the week of June 8–12. I want to start by saying that they truly enjoyed their instructors (Mr. Trey and Ms. Sam) and loved the camp content. They came home excited each day about what they were learning and creating. Based on the instructors and curriculum alone, this would have easily been a 5‑star experience.
However, I have serious concerns about the camp management, specifically the on-site manager, Ms. Bri, and I feel it’s important that both the organization and other parents are aware.
Several behaviors stood out as inappropriate and concerning:
* Children are not allowed to sit during recess, even if they are tired—they are required to keep playing
* Children are not allowed to talk during lunch, even quietly, and are disciplined if they do
* Kids are threatened with losing recess for normal social behavior like talking with peers
These rules alone are concerning, but the most troubling situation involved group punishment. My children (who are in different groups) both shared that when a few kids did not follow directions, the entire camp was punished. All children were required to sit at tables during dismissal with their heads down and were not allowed to lift them.
As a parent, I find this type of disciplinary approach unusual and inappropriate, especially for young children across multiple groups who were not involved. It raises serious concerns about how behavior is being managed and what other disciplinary practices may be occurring.
I also want to note that this does not appear to be an isolated concern—there was another review posted in early June describing very similar issues at this location.
We are currently enrolled for another session in July, and while my kids did enjoy the camp overall, I am now questioning whether to return due to these concerns. For the cost of this program, parents should feel confident that their children are not only learning and having fun, but also being treated in a developmentally appropriate, respectful, and supportive environment.
Please take a close look at the management approach at The Woodlands location, especially since this is not the first negative review towards similar practices from this person. and consider additional coaching or changes. The instructors and curriculum are strong—the leadership approach is what needs immediate attention.

What you described does not reflect our values, our training, or the environment we want to create at Creator Camp. We take feedback regarding student well-being incredibly seriously, and we have immediately addressed this with our leadership team.
Following your review, we spoke directly with our Woodlands camp manager, Ms. Bri, to investigate these claims and clarify our policies:
Lunch and Recess Guidelines: We want to explicitly clarify that children are absolutely allowed, and encouraged, to talk, socialize, and laugh during lunch and recess. Furthermore, any child who is tired is always allowed to sit down and rest during recess. We are not sure where the information regarding these restrictions originated, but we have reiterated to our entire onsite team that recess and lunch should be a fun, relaxing break for the kids.
Disciplinary Practices: We do not condone or practice collective punishment, nor do we ever want children to be disciplined by putting their heads down at dismissal. Our behavior management training focuses on positive reinforcement and addressing issues individually, rather than penalizing an entire group for the actions of a few.
Please rest assured that we are utilizing your feedback to provide immediate coaching and closer oversight at our Woodlands location to ensure our leadership approach aligns perfectly with the high-quality experience our instructors deliver.
We completely agree that for the cost of our program, you deserve total peace of mind that your children are in a supportive, respectful, and developmentally appropriate environment. Since you are enrolled for July, we would love the opportunity to speak with you directly prior to your next session to assure you of the steps we've taken. I cannot say enough good things about…
I cannot say enough good things about this camp. They are very accommodating. I work nights, and every day my son arrived late, but they always greeted us warmly and made him feel welcome.
Bri is one of the most helpful people I have ever met. She always waited for us with a smile and made the experience even better.
My son truly loves making videos and designing games on Roblox. Every time we left, he would ask, "When are we coming back?"
This is the second or third year my son has attended this camp, and we plan to continue coming back every year. We highly recommend it!

I cannot say enough good things about creator camp. My son lived it so much we signed up for 2 more weeks after his first. Luna and Harrison and Alex are all spectacular. Every kid I saw leave was so happy and telling their grown up all about what they made that day.
