I have no idea what the service from this company is like unfortunately as despite trying to call them (nobody answers) and emailing them with details about my airbag ECU issue nobody ever got back to me.

Further to my review on 15/4/24 and in response to their insistence that I had not contacted them I resent the email from 20/3/24 using "reply to all". Crash Data have now responded to the email (within a couple of hours to be fair) and explained that the part I wanted to reprogramme wasn't an ECU but a sensor. I would have been of great benefit to me if they had responded the first time around as I waited a week in the hope they would reply to me before seeking alternative solutions.

My disappointment remains that they chose to be sarcastic and flippant in response to my heartfelt feedback.

I must also point out that CrashDataReset.UK, a separate company, WERE able to reprogramme my unit and get me back on the road again so I am glad that I did not receive an email from Crashdata.co.uk saying it could not be done as I may well have taken a different path which would have resulted in me writing off my car.

I will leave readers to decide how their flippant and futile response that I should "get over myself" should be judged when deciding whether or not to use this company and hope this explains my change from 2 to 1 star.

Very helpful staff on the phone line a quick and easy service

Fiat ducato 2018 motorhome. Sat air g bag light came on. 11days to go for eurotunnel. So my stress levels very high. On intranet sun. Find YouTube video how to locate and disconnect. See people saying send to crash data to reset.go on website and pay, off 1st class post Mon,unit failed test. Payed for new one with proxy. Arrived Thurs. Fitted and working. Great communication off crash data via WhatsApp, email and phone. Even WhatsApp out of hours replies. Girl was a bit grumpy/short on phone on day,but at least grumpy replies better than no replies. So deffo recomend

I sent an airbag module off for repair which came back quickly and I was really pleased, until the airbag warning light came back on after a week or so. I thought it might be the vehicle battery being low so I replaced that then sent the module back again. It came back quickly again (another £84) but this time the error code appeared within a day. They weren't responding to emails (I've sent 3 over the last month or so without a reply) so I called them today. I was explaining the details and was about to ask if it's maybe just a faulty module and not worth trying to repair again (and ask if a new one would just be able to be plugged straight in without coding) but before I got to any of the that the very rude guy on the phone starting barking questions at me about the battery crank ampage. I said I didn't know off the top of my head but I could try and find out the specs of the new vehicle battery I bought but by this time he was actually shouting down the hone about how he doesn't have a crystal ball. When I asked him to lower his voice he hung up. He was maybe having a bad day (it was Monday morning after all) but I don't think anyone should be shouting down the phone and hanging up on customers.
So now I have spent £168 (plus a new vehicle battery at £140) getting a module repaired twice which is still not working. I'll be going to Northern Autotech hoping to speak to someone a bit more helpful.

I sent my airbag module to crashdata on a Monday, unfortunately they told me that it was unrepairable and offered me four options. I chose to buy a new module from them. They coded it to my vehicle and I had it back by Friday. I fitted it and hey presto all as good as new. A great service that I would recommend.

Sent off after seeing recommended , couldn’t fix it and wanted over £500 for a new unit , refunded half my money but can’t recommend as couldn’t fix the unit

Would highly recommend these guys. I was going to send my airbag module to them but they suggested what the issue was without me having to send anything and with no charge. Very sound.

Excellent service both on phone and in speed of return. Sent off Module 4.50pm Tuesday, back 10am Thursday, all fixed . Can't fault them and great price.

Sent my airbag ecu on Monday
Arrived at crash data Tuesday who repaired it and sent Back same day
Recieved it today Wednesday an fitted it
Very happy with service couldn’t ask for more
Have also fitted 2 amp trickle charger so battery doesn’t drop causing further issues

I had a nice chat with a very nice lady in customer service my partner on the 28th of November was having a bad day with period pains so the phone call didn't go too well at all, hopefully the module will be fixed and sent back to me apologies for the previous bad review.

Sent Airbag module to crash data and within 24 hours the module was returned, installed back into my Motorhome all working no issues.

Very fast efficient and reliable company thank you so much.

After emailing to see if the crash data could be removed from my SRS unit i sent it off. The whole turnaround was 3 days, crash data removed all for less the £50. I would definitely recommend this service and remind some of the bad reviews until they receive it and carry out tests, they may not be able to guarantee a repair for every Unit

We sent our airbag module for repair after having problems with it ..it was a really fast and efficient service...I dealt with Holly on email and Jean on a phone call they were both very helpful and knew our urgency of getting the module back really appreciated all of their help...thankyou to all of the crashdata crew 😀 Donna

Just a follow up of my review 16thOct and response from Crash Data the response what’s exactly as I was expecting after reading other reviews from customers who dared to criticise this Company.
The reason to ask for a full test report was to enable to give information to a Fiat approved garage was to ascertain wether it was my vehicle causing the fault to module before taking it further with my local garage whom obtained the
previous 2 modules repaired by your Company who incidentally asked me to take it to Fiat,and yes I did get a report after speaking to you which was a slip saying spiked 14.6 volts,Fiat has now checked my vehicle confirming no faults only a faulty module supplied by Crash Data.
No I certainly was not unpleasant neither did my garage send me elswere or do they have the opinion you try fabricate about me,as for being a polite and decent human being by slamming the phone down when speaking to a customer as you did only shows someone as being rude and arrogant.
I stand by my opinion of this Company as not customer friendly at all or maybe it’s just the person who takes the calls

I have used this company twice and cannot fault their service. They are always prompt and deal with the problem. My latest issue was one where they were unable to repair my airbag ecu but were able to supply me with a brand new one with 2 year warranty and were able to programme it specifically for my vehicle so there was no need for me to have to get that done after fitting. I sent the old unit off on the Monday and got the new one back 2 days later on the Wednesday. Brilliant service and all very pleasant when I have spoken with them. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Sent our module back and crash data had supposedly fixed it, yes worked on the first outing in the van, next time no it was back! So sent back again now it has another fault code and being offered a hefty bill to get sorted, not at all impressed

Sent an airbag control unit off for reset. Only to find on return that it hadn't worked and the airbag light wasn't off. Put in into Peugeot and they fitted a brand new unit after there was no fault codes to read. Emailed crash data and they didn't even offer a refund, even though the reset clearly didn't work. According to the OEM these type of resets are a gamble and dont always work.

I had an excellent experience with crashdata.co.uk. Chris demonstrated extensive knowledge in the field and was exceptionally helpful throughout the process. I wholeheartedly give them a 5-star rating and would highly recommend their services to anyone in need.

Module reset and returned within 72hs .fitted and now all is good, just hope I have no more trouble with this unit. Thy seem to be prone to failure. Fiat Ducato Motorhome. 2018
