They need to be more responsive
Why is it that Southern Co-op are hidden in the shadows of the main co-op stores but never seem to show their face when queries or complaints go through? Yellow Southern Co-op is supposed to be separate form the Blue co-op but there is no way to contact them officially that works.I have sent 2 emails to them, a letter , their app is terrible , their response is non existent yet they are sending ME emails about my points disappearing but nothing can be found to show these points. If a company offers bonuses to members, then at least make it easy to claim them and REPLY when asked . If a Co-op official reads this , please let me know a telephone number for Yellow co-op as nothing else is working

I telephoned the Co-operative Bank help line with a number of queries and the lady on the phone, ANNILA was absolutely amazing. She was patient, courteous, really knowledgeable and dealt with all my queries without any fuss. I am so grateful for her help.
A nicer and more efficient lady cannoy be found.
Thank you so much
Out with family
We have been for Breakfast a number of times but on a Monday! We went today,Sunday, and we're very disappointed,we asked for crispy bacon but it came black in parts, and on one looked like it had been in deep fat fryer, there was no taste at all in scrambled eggs, even the toast was disappointing. Won't go Sunday again.

Pinxton co-op
Pinxton co-op Nottinghamshire.I've never known a shop to put the price up every week. Example, a bar of chocolate went up from £2.00 to £2.50 because of the shoplifting, so they said, now the same ones are £2.75 four weeks later because of a change over. Also I don't know who bottles there sauces because I have to wash them before I can use them because they smell like a damp flannel, it's rancid.
Get your gift cards online and do not shop local.
I bought some gift cards from the Coop for my son for Christmas (£60 in total to keep shopping local). The cards had already been redeemed. The staff in store and online do not give a toss even though having the gift cards on display is a scammers delight.

Refused to Refund after being Overcharged
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent experience at my local Co-op store. I purchased a Pizza Meal Deal, expecting to receive the discounted price advertised.
Upon arriving home, I discovered that the deal had not been applied to my bill, resulting in an overcharge. Unfortunately, due to time constraints and the need to feed my children, I could not return to the store immediately to rectify the issue.
I subsequently contacted Co-op customer service via their website to report the error. However, my initial inquiry was dismissed, with the representative stating that the transaction was completed and, therefore, the deal could not be applied retroactively. This response was incredibly dismissive and failed to acknowledge my valid concern.
Feeling frustrated and unfairly treated, I returned to the store and took a photograph of the advertised Pizza Meal Deal. I then submitted a new inquiry to Co-op customer service, including the photographic evidence.
To my further disappointment, this second inquiry was also abruptly closed without any communication or attempt to resolve the issue. This lack of customer service is unacceptable and completely disregards my concerns.
I expected a prompt and satisfactory resolution, including a refund for the overcharged amount. What a shame

absolutely disgusting service -
I walked in here after a cold icy day of sledging with my friend, about to grab grab some sweets to watch a movie. I went to the till preparing myself for a friendly interaction yet the worker behind the counter was so dry and bland, didnt even smile, he only said to me "do you have a co op card"(whilst getting sweets we saw him chatting to another worker)
I finished paying then waited for my friend to get her food and as we were walking out he put his hand on his microphone and with a louder tone he said "what a load of b*ll*cks".
absolutely disappointing interaction, couldnt even pop a smile, antisocial behaviour, should have respect for the community especially in such a small area, I expect better Co op.
Not very Co-Operative
I recently shopped in a Co-Operative food store in Dodworth, South Yorkshire. This is not my usual store but I was visiting family. I noticed that for a 4 pint carton of milk there was a 30p member discount. Therefore I used my Co-Op member card at the till. The card was recognised and I was awarded points for my shopping as I would expect. But I did not get the 30p discount as promised.
When I challenged a member of staff I was told that different stores have different coloured membership cards with regards to member discount. For that store I needed a yellow card but my card is blue. It seems that in order to use my blue card to get benefits I needed to go to a different Co-Operative store a few miles up the road.
Not sure how we are supposed to know this. I fell conned. Other supermarket chains manage to have loyalty card schemes where the discounts apply to all card holders regardless of their home store. Why can't the Co-Operative
My new favourite store
I recently switched to the Co-op because of its cheaper and quiicker delivery service. I am mobility challenged so this was a great find. But also the disability parking is better than the other local stores, as the spaces are next to the trolleys and closer to the entry/exit doors. There is a wide range of foods, fresh, chilled and frozen as well as the usual groceries, so for me this is a great find.
Ainsdale Co-op store - overcharging
We have lost count of the number of times we have shopped in Ainsdale Co-op and been overcharged. One time the self serve till took the money twice and we had to try and get a refund which was not too easy.
Final straw today - overcharged by £4.50 and some of the produce on the vegetable counters should have been binned long ago, We went back to the store and they did sort out a refund, but that is not the point, it happens too often. Goodbye Co-op, will not be using your shop again.

Curzon street Birmingham branch Ganesh the manager has zero customer service skills, treats customers like second class citizens leaves you standing at the counter whilst he walks around no explanation ,very poor service if I could give 0 stars I would very disrespectful ,how do customers have to beg to be served then to be told get out .

Click and collect system is a nightmare, numerous times now we have received the complete wrong order, when we called the store and head office they both blamed the just eat drivers, which is ridiculous as the staff in store pull the orders not the drivers,we'll go elsewhere from now on.
The CO-OP store, very helpful staff member
The CO-OP store, next to Borough Green and Wrotham train station, On Saturday morning at 10.55am 30th November, I was greeted and helped, by a young White lady, she was slim with long black hair, unfortunatley I didn't get her name, but she was super helpful and left me with a great customer experience, she is an asset to your company.
Nothing works
Coop stores
If you have the card please check it as the points system isn’t working because you’re not getting the discounts.
The app doesn’t work so it’s in store only but they will tell you to ring them.
Then if you ring up they don’t answer the phone even the website is is broken.
Coop I’m my opinion is so poorly run.
Woolavington Somerset Store.Post Office staffing
Can I suggest that you address the post office staffing situation at your Woolavington , Somerset store. If you can’t find/train enough staff to cover the existing opening hours ( which you obviously can’t as it is now closed more often than open) you actually manage the situation and reduce opening hours to a consistent time table , this will give your customers a reasonable chance of successfully carrying out post office business. Current situation is a disgrace, the amount f time I have wasted turning up to a closed post office…just shows contempt for your customers.
