We’re sorry to hear that the price of your insurance has changed. We understand how frustrating that is. We want to clarify that we are a comparison website and do not set the prices ourselves; these are set by our panel of insurers.
Some common reasons why the price may have changed can be changes to the payment method (monthly vs annually), adding optional extras to the quote or upgrading the cover level to a higher option. It’s worth double checking if you have made any changes like these or similar to these.
If no changes were made, the insurer will be able to investigate this for you and provide a resolution. Or you can email our CS team at reviews@help.confused.com and we will contact the insurer on your behalf to find out what happened.

The only thing is they hide a lot of things and add them on after you click into the quote.
The only thing is, You get the quotes but the firms that they come from never give you a straight answer, Plus they want addons all over there policy's.

I filled in all their forms with my details to get a quote for a car I wanted to buy I thought their best submission of £3558:24 was too much and decided against the purchase. I pay currently pay £356 a year insurance with my company and they only wanted £368 so confused cost me a car I wanted. Now every 5 minutes they send pestering e-mails. what a cowboy bunch they are!

The review below shows how useless you are because my company is among the ones you quote for (R.A.C.) and you continue almost dialy to nag me to insure the car you ensured I couldn`t buy; the message is clear as day - aproach insurance providers direct and ignore this bunch of cowboys who are only in it for your money.
