Chronic unlocks got my iPhone 5 locked (in contract) to AT&T USA just within three days at a cheaper rate than a vendor I had earlier contacted. Chronic services are faster, cheaper and reliable. I remain in business with them.

I've ordered 2 iPhone unlocks this year. The first was the standard unlock service (5 to 15 business days) for an iPhone 5S. I placed the order on January 13 and received notification that it was unlocked on February 9, so it was just a bit outside of the promised window. However, I wasn't in a rush and was just waiting to sell that iPhone and wanted the unlock so I could set a higher asking price.

The most recent order was another standard unlock (5 to 15 business days) for an iPhone 6. I placed the order on April 2 and was notified on April 7 that it was done. This unlock was requested for travel to Europe so it was a bit more important to me and Chronic Unlocks didn't let me down.

I have waited only two days for icloud removal on my 5s. Thanks a lot guys

It took 5 months to unlock my iPad but works great now thanks edammo. .ps always answered my questions

I knew that the site was a legit one however I was a bit worried about the length of time it was taking to unlock my iphone. Imagine my surprise on receiving a text stating that my iPhone was unlocked. Patience is a virtue, I am happy I did not cancel the order. Thank you Chronic Unlocks.

I originally ordered the regular service (15 to 5 working days) to unlock a AT&T iPhone 5S, after other unlocking websites were unable to unlock the phone. After the 15 working days, and the iPhone not yet being unlocked, I contacted Chronic Unlocks. I received a reply quickly where they informed me that they would order the express service for my phone, and received an email within 24 hours stated that my phone was unlocked and when I tried the phone everything worked with my new sim card.
They seem to be having issues with the regular service, from my experience and looking at some of the other reviews on this site, so I would recommend only using their express service. But I found their support to be excellent, and they resolved the issue with my unlock quickly after I made contact with them.

Sent 26th february
On the 27th of january I received confirmation that my unlock was being processed. It is now a full and I have had no update as to the status of my device. This is far beyond the 5-15 business days advertised. Please unlock the phone as soon as possible and respond with an explanation of the delay.
2nd march:
Dear Sir or Madam,
It has been over a month since submitting payment for my phone unlock on January 26th. I wrote on February 26th have received no response.
If I do not receive a response by 5pm EST TODAY, I will be initiating a chargeback on the transaction. For the delay I expect to be compensated by a refund of $20. This represents half the original cost, as it has (so far) taken twice as long as advertised.

EDIT: On April 12th, 2015 Chronic Unlocks posted the following response to my review (which i am copying here and taking screenshots in case it is taken down.)
"Hello sir, We would be happy to help, but have no information regarding your order. As there have been some false reviews posted, if this is indeed genuine, please email [Name Removed by Site] and we would be happy to the this issue figured out."

This is patently false. As I have copy pasted my email correspondance with the company in these emails with dates and content, I see this only as a tactic to get rid of poor reviews. I had thought that I had made my point (and succeeded in getting back my money after contacting my credit card company) and was going to let bygones be bygones, but this is piling on dishonesty to an already terrible experience.
To Chronic: Please post an EDIT (not just delete the response!) Apologizing and indicating that in fact you have received these emails and made a mistake in my order. If you don't do this by the 15th, I will seek out every damn review website you are on and post the screenshots of the emails. You are using such absurdly slimy tactics. I am sending you an email to the same effect as this edit.

Took only 3.5 days. I did pay for the premium service though as I wasn't prepared to wait. It's working and I am glad I didn't have to wait.

Waited 4 days and device unlocked ( express)

I ordered the AT&T iPhone 6 unlock at the start of January, with a turnaround time of 5 - 15 working days. 20 working days later, I started making enquiries and heard nothing back. After making some noises on the Chronic Unlocks Facebook page (now deleted, not by me), someone did get back to me to say they were experiencing delays but my phone would be eventually unlocked.
10 working days after the unlock was due, I made some more noise on the Facebook page and received an unsolicited refund.

Chancing my arm, I then bought the express service and had an unlocked phone 18 hours later.
So, for the express service, great. 5 Stars.

The regular service is awful and the support was inadequate. Pay for the express or don't bother.

Ordered the express iPhone 6 Plus unlock and received confirmation that my phone was successfully unlocked within 48 hours in time for my trip

In my case the unlock is done after 1months+ and raising a dispute in paypal because i'm not a patience guy. But maybe because they receive so much orders so it's late. But the service 100% trusted.

After 3 months waiting, finally text message and email are received upon unlock completion.

Thanks to Will and chronics. Hope you can improve waiting time in the future.

My phone was eventually unlocked but it took twice as long as their website had promised- they claimed it would take 2 weeks to unlock but I ended up waiting more than a month.

Near the end of the 2 weeks, I sent 3 emails within the space of a week asking for the status of my phone. There were NO REPLIES. I was beginning to think the company was a fraud so in my last email I threatened to report them to various fraud-busting websites.

However they did unlock my phone in the end, hence the 3 stars. 0/5 customer service, 0/5 speed, but at least it worked...

The company and Will are great and extremely polite. However their iCloud removal service took an extremely long time to the point where I just decided to send Apple the invoice instead and have it removed rather than wait any longer. Didn't take long to get a refund, which was cool. Don't let the iCloud issue affect how you view Chronic Unlocks though, every other unlocking service they provide is legit and works without issue :)
