I recently had a very disappointing experience with Debbie Plumer during my property purchase. Communication was a major issue throughout the process. Messages were often left unanswered, and there was a lack of clarity on crucial matters like the receipt of my funds. This left me panicked and worried about meeting deadlines.

Furthermore, Debbie Plumer and Carmen Piedra failed to communicate effectively with the mortgage lender, missing important inquiries which caused significant delays. This ultimately led to a delay in the completion of my property, costing me extra money.

Instructions were not clear or timely, especially regarding the submission of original documents. I was only informed at the last minute, almost jeopardizing our timeline.

It was only after I escalated the matter to her manager that communication improved. Overall, my experience was quite negative and added unnecessary stress to an already stressful process. I would not recommend Debbie Plumer based on my experience.

I have been using Kevin Chinnery for a number of years, and recently at Child and Child. My company consults him where we need to recover money from a non-payer or guarantor. He has always provided us with excellent service, both in advising us of the best way to proceed, and carrying out our instructions quickly. He gives clear advice on the potential for debt recovery, including on occasions advising us not to take action, as the costs would be more than the debt. I would recommend absolutely.

They caused me to be very late on my BTL completion settlement and all round terrible experience. No replys on emails. I'm dealing with Debbie Plumber and Carmen Piedra . Very unreasonable delays. Avoid!!!

Chloe Redman from Child&Child was helping us with our house purchase. I would not say our case was extremely complicated, but we still had a hard deadline and unfortunately ran into a few issues with the survey which the other side did not want to admit. Chloe's communication was always prompt and clear, she drew our attention to all the important details arisen from the survey (it obviously does not mean that you can skip reading documents on your own), and was on top of her game chasing the other's side solicitors in order to get the deal over the line in time. Her emails sent in late evenings did not go unnoticed, this does show the attitude. Last but not least, Chloe worked directly with our mortgage broker to resolve the last annoying obstacle jeopardising the completion date, when we already had movers booked in (that was stressful)

I can definitely recommend Chloe for non-trivial cases when you might need a dedicated experienced solicitor.
